The Bird said:An average of 8 hours. I try to make sure I don't get less than 7 during the week, and on the weekends, I’ll easily put in 9 or 10... 😉

Same here, though during the week it usually ends up being about 7, rarely 8 😢
But on the weekends? At least 10 hours 😁

I love sleeping 🙂
Since things aren't working right on www.webmd.com, I'm just going to post my experience here instead.

I really want to give a shout-out to dr. Luksic, who removed four moles for me about a week ago.

Usually, they only do three at a time, but since I was already there and dealing with all that anxiety, I asked him if he could just do four...

dr. Luksic was incredibly attentive and careful during both the consultation and the actual procedure. While I was under local anesthesia, he kept me distracted with stories so I wouldn't focus on what he was cutting out—he actually noticed when I got nervous because my bleeding picked up, and he did everything he could to keep me calm. The nurse, Jason, was also super sweet and kept talking to me the whole time.

I went back today to get my stitches out, and I don't think I'll even have a scar because the doctor was so meticulous with the stitching... really tight, precise work.

I'm a total coward when it comes to medical stuff, but dr. Luksic’s bedside manner really helped ease my fear and probably helped the healing process too.

Huge THANKS again to dr. Luksic! 🙂
One leg is shorter than the other in Health ·
Look, I’ve got one leg that's about half an inch shorter than the other—pretty sure it's the right one 😬
. People noticed this back when I was just a kid, and now that I'm 34, they still tell me there's "nothing that can be done" about it.
When I was little, I had to wear orthotics for flat feet, so my right insert was always built up by that extra half inch. Now I’ve ended up with really high arches, but the leg length issue hasn't gone anywhere 😁
.
But, if it helps to hear, I’m nearly twice your age and haven't dealt with any real issues because I actually stay active and live healthy. I know plenty of people who were already hitting physical therapy before they even hit 30 just because they don't move at all and spend their entire workday sitting down, like everyone else does.
Their backs are shot because they go straight from an office chair to the car, then straight to the couch, so everything just aches.

So, don't sweat it too much. Just find a sport you actually enjoy and stay moving, and you'll be fine 🙂

Dr. Harni's clinic and Dr. Maja Gudelj are great... though I'm not sure what you mean by an "HPV specialty"—they handle everything from prenatal care and routine checkups to HPV and other issues.
You can find all the details at

Stay strong and try to keep a positive mindset!
There's a forum there too, which should help, plus their website is packed with info.

Good luck, hang in there!

Sending you a huge hug!

"I just want to be free. I’ve worked hard to be independent, so what else is there left to do?
I met this amazing guy, and honestly, being around him makes me feel so happy. But I'm terrified that some 'subconscious' baggage is going to hold me back and prevent me from
breaking out of this mental trap. Help. "

I think you already know exactly what needs to happen if you actually want that freedom...

Maybe for a little while—especially since things are still so new—you should probably cut ties with your ex. He’s constantly hovering in your life right now; you guys talk all day, and then at night, you're stuck dealing with the fallout of the breakup...
That stood out to me as, well, a pretty obvious detail...

But you're the one who knows your own heart best, so just be honest with yourself. 🙂

You know that scene in the cartoon where Bambi goes out onto the frozen lake and just completely wipes out on the ice, limbs flying everywhere?
And then Bambi tries to pull one leg under, almost gets up, falls again, and repeats that whole cycle a few times, but eventually manages to stand up on those shaky little legs...🙂 👋
Hmm, I dealt with the exact same thing because of work stress.
It dragged on for a solid 8 or 9 months...
Everything you're describing is spot on—waking up constantly, those racing thoughts when you're half-asleep, and even though I'd hit the pillow feeling absolutely dead, sleep just wouldn't come!
Those intrusive thoughts made it obvious that work was the culprit, since they were strictly about my job.

But it passed.
No pills involved, which is a relief because I really can't stand taking medication.
I had to basically "train" myself, constantly telling myself, "Screw this job, your health comes first, you're going to burn yourself out..." I don't know which thought finally clicked or when it happened, but eventually, it cleared up.🙂

You'll get through this too, for sure.👍

Just keep pushing forward; time heals everything.
🙂 👋
Bruising issues in Health ·
Can someone please just drop the names of those doctors here publicly instead of sending me a DM? I’m mentally prepping myself for surgery right now... 😁

I had a mole removed by Dr. Zambellia in Seattle and he was fantastic (he runs his own private practice there if anyone needs him), but now I need a solid specialist in Washington, D.C.

Thanks for the heads up🙂
