VMware offers a comparable alternative called VMware Player, which is actually free for personal use. In the more recent versions, you can even set up a virtual machine using this tool without needing to purchase Workstation.
You can download it here, and I've included some instructions here.

You know what the most tragic part of this entire situation is? It’s the fact that the referee actually handed him a yellow card just because of how he celebrated 😂.

I suspect Milan might finally find their footing here, though they have a monumental task ahead given how formidable the Barca squad looks. I am also curious to see how Valencia manages against Inter following that embarrassing performance at home. The matchup in Kyiv should be quite compelling as well; there is a distinct possibility that Dinamo could walk away with a comfortable victory.
Panathinaikos 2-2 Arsenal FC Rosenborg 1-2 PSV Eindhoven AC Milan 1-0 FC Barcelona Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 Celtic FC RSC Anderlecht 1-2 Werder Bremen - featuring two goals from Ivica Klasnić 🙂 🙂Valencia CF 1-5 Inter Milan 😲 😲 Chelsea FC 2-0 CSKA Moscow PSG 2-0 Porto
Liverpool FC - Deportivo 0-0 Monaco - Olympiacos 2-1 Bayer Leverkusen - Rom 3-1 Real Madrid - Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 (Michael Owen scores first goal for Real Madrid) Ajax - M. Tel-Aviv 3-0 Juventus - Bayern Munich 1-0 Fenerbahçe - Lyon 1-3 Sparta Prague - Manchester United 0-0
Juventus plays a rather tedious style of football, yet they still manage to secure the win; honestly, for Manchester United, it’s business as usual.
I am thoroughly unimpressed by this direction. My intention is to watch football, not to sit through a political shouting match between two candidates vying for control of the HOO, nor am I interested in an interview with Sanja Jovanović. Why on earth did they cancel Five? It was easily one of their most popular programs.
nimblemarlin17 said:Actually, no... it was the Los Angeles Dodgers versus the Dallas Cowboys. Saying it that way is a bit like calling the New York Yankees "Inter" instead of the New York Yankees. 😁
You’re absolutely right; I appreciate the correction 👍.
I caught a bit of the matchup between New York City and the Dallas Cowboys yesterday. I only sat through the first few minutes before switching off—the commentators were absolutely dreadful. Still, I hope they keep broadcasting these games; there is some seriously compelling football being played over there.
Adriano (Inter Miami), Roberto Ayala (Valencia CF), Michael Ballack (Bayern Munich), Milan Baroš (Liverpool FC), David Beckham (Real Madrid), Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus FC), Cafu (AC Milan), Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), Deco (FC Barcelona), Didier Drogba (Chelsea FC), Samuel Eto'o (FC Barcelona), Luis Figo (Real Madrid), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool FC), Ryan Giggs (Manchester United), Thierry Henry (Arsenal FC), Zlatan Ibrahimović (Juventus FC), Oliver Kahn (Bayern Munich), Kaká (AC Milan), Frank Lampard (Chelsea FC), Henrik Larsson (FC Barcelona), Roy Makaay (Bayern Munich), Paolo Maldini (AC Milan), Pavel Nedved (Juventus FC), Alessandro Nesta (AC Milan), Michael Owen (Real Madrid), Robert Pires (Arsenal FC), Raul (Real Madrid), Roberto Carlos (Real Madrid), Ronaldinho (FC Barcelona), Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Andriy Shevchenko (AC Milan), Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United), Theodoros Zagorakis (Bologna FC) and Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid)
If I had to pick my favorites, I would go with Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho, and Kaká, in that specific order.
It seems to me that the list includes a few names that feel somewhat out of place—perhaps even a bit undeserved—such as Zagorakis 🤣, Gerrard, Beckham 😂 😂, Figo, and Eto'o.

A true legend. You can read more about his antics here.
Black Knights said:Not quite, darling... 😁 The nuance here is that appearing in the Olympics counts as playing for the youth squad, but you know as well as I do that they never actually field a true youth team. Instead, they always roll out a mixed roster. Sure, there are young players in the mix, but calling them a "youth national team" is a bit of a stretch. No hard feelings.
I think you've missed the mark again. Every team is permitted to include up to three veteran players. In fact, some national teams don't even utilize that allowance and stick strictly to young talent. No hard feelings, darling 😳.
Torcida_ZG said:😕 ??????????????????? Could you please remind me which group the Mexicans were actually placed in during the European Parliament tournament? You’re talking absolute nonsense here; it's just nonsensical...
Bryan Barrett said:The youth European Parliament... 🙄 which was where they qualified for the Olympics (in the same group as us), hello? 😁
It shouldn't be that difficult to grasp, right, Torcida_ZG?
I was watching from a local pub, and I have to say, I was absolutely floored by how Argentina played. Their short passing was incredibly precise, their tactical vision was sharp, and they were just ruthlessly efficient on the pitch... That said, word is that the Mexicans were playing a bit of a makeshift lineup; apparently, the clubs competing in the Champions League wouldn't release all their stars. Out of the entire EU roster, the only player I could clearly recognize was the striker, Kobe Bryant. It would have been a much tighter contest if Luka Modrić and the rest of that crew had actually been out there...
The matchup between the Boston Celtics and Chelsea FC was quite a compelling contest. It seems Arjen Robben is destined to become the next major superstar in English soccer.
