I don't recall seeing this topic floating around before (my bad if I missed it), so I'm starting a new thread because I want to know what you guys think about torrent clients.
I first stumbled into torrenting about two years ago, and I've been sticking with BitTorrent ever since—it’s been solid. I gave uTorrent a shot (which is basically just a clone of BitTorrent), tried out Vuze (hated it), and most recently messed around with microtorrent (uTorrent).
Honestly, that last one seems like the winner because it's so simple. I'll probably just stick to it from now on. The big thing for me is how little RAM it eats; BitTorrent tends to hog around 60 MB on average, which feels like a total waste.

What have you guys been using? Anyone actually downloading stuff directly through a browser or even via P2P software like Shareaza used to support?

Watch what you download and you won't need any 😁

Unless the admin nukes it first. 😁

Look at this guy with his nine posts trying to get someone else's account deleted, hahaha

I don't know. It took me a few tries just to get that split version downloaded myself. Check those forums where they're hosted; you might find it there.

I actually managed to get it installed even though I'm running an unlicensed version of Windows. You need to grab a setup that's split into a few different parts. I don't have the exact download link on hand, but I grabbed mine from http://www.phazeddl.com/

Same here.

I know you could've just used AltaVista for that.

Clearly, some people think if they grab an original Windows license from someone else and just clone it, suddenly it belongs to them too.

Say whatever you want and vote however you feel, but if you ask me, the real ratio is 90:10 in favor of the pirates.

Pirate, obviously 👍

It’s not even that bad. Did you guys actually manage to get rid of number 5?

Seriously, nobody?

Did you guys catch THIS?

Great post

Alright, now you're just being extra.

It's like they're just playing U2 covers... total frauds. They act like they wrote "My Rose in Hard Times," but they don't give a damn about it...
Death to the frauds.

Their songs aren't even similar.
