It’s happening in Austria and Switzerland too. The Germans are just getting started, and the Ukrainians actually kicked things off a bit before us—even though their winters are significantly harsher than ours... the French are on the same schedule.
Honestly, stop obsessing over the pitch conditions. It shouldn't matter when the league starts or ends. Anyone with half a brain should know how to protect the turf from the frost and the absolute mess that Santa Monica, Central Park, and Kranjčević fall into during January and February...

Germany!!!
Look, their national team might be a total mess, but the football there is beautiful to watch. You get plenty of goals, and lately, even Bayern Munich isn't the absolute juggernaut they used to be. Now you've got Borussia Dortmund, VfB Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen, and even Werder Bremen consistently hovering near the top. Throw in clubs like Hamburger SV, Hertha BSC, and Schalke 04, and you're looking at a league full of high-quality sides that actually mean something in Europe...
It’s a different story compared to places like Spain, where only a handful of clubs really hold steady ground (Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Deportivo La Coruña, Valencia CF, Celta Vigo), or Italy, with their usual suspects (Lazio, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, AS Roma), or even the United Kingdom, with the likes of Manchester, Liverpool FC, Arsenal, and Newcastle United...
