Joseph Turner92, take a look at Peek & Cloppenburg in the CC1 mall. They had a decent selection of evening gowns this past spring, and the sizing was reasonable. Their cuts run large—I usually wear a 14, but I fit into a 12 without any trouble.
Of course, it isn't perfect; most of the fabrics are synthetic. :-/
At least the prices were fair.
Over on Ilica Street—take a left from Frankopanska toward the British pub—and near the start of the pedestrian zone, you'll find MAC. They’re a bit pricier, but they have genuinely beautiful dresses. Actually, correction—they *had* them this spring. 🙂I haven't a clue what their current stock looks like. In that shop, they offered to take my measurements and custom-tailor a dress if my size wasn't available or if I wanted a different fabric. Usually, I can find up to a size 18 or 20 there.
And yes, the material quality there was quite high. 🙂
Good luck! 🙂
Here—returning this advice. 🙂
I read this on a forum ages ago.
Take a piece of cotton (don't skimp!) and soak it in rubbing alcohol (again, don't skimp!). Stuff them into your stinky shoes.
Let the alcohol evaporate.
Repeat as needed.
I'm not sure if this works for ballet flats, but it works wonders on sneakers and other bulky footwear.
It would also be wise to treat your feet at the same time (using something like Lotrimin).
Justin Gonzalez87 said:I called the Sunce clinic today and they don't have an endocrinologist on staff, but they mentioned one is available in Washington, D.C. Does anyone know anything about them? Who is it, and are they actually any good?
Dr. Barbir.
I'm his patient, also dealing with Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism.
My diagnosis was originally handled up in Dubrava, but I switched over to him after I moved.
The man isn't much of a talker and carries himself with a bit of an attitude, but if you bombard him with questions, he’ll answer every single one.🙂
Good luck!😘

I'm offended on purely local grounds!
Midwesterners have never been small and fat; they've always been
big and heavy. 🙂 🙂
😢
Learning to ride a bike online? Heck yes! 😬
Or are you following Severin’s "Verizon is useless" ideology too? 🙂
What I actually need from the internet is a specific METHODOLOGY for teaching someone my height and weight how to ride.
It's easy enough to balance a tiny kid's bike while staying upright, but keeping me steady on a heavy-duty mountain bike once I start leaning? Even my dear 🙂
couldn't pull that off.
I've been considering training wheels. 😳 I spend way too much time overthinking this and not nearly enough time actually doing it.
Betty Bennett10 said:Look, here’s a tip—find a gentle slope, something really mild, and just try coasting down it on your bike. Don't worry about pedaling; just spread your legs out and focus on finding your balance.
The second I even think about touching a pedal, I'm wiped out!😁
I’ll post here, irontiger25 won't be mad 🙂
Is there a course (or even just a website) for learning how to ride a bike as an adult (28 years old)?
My husband tried teaching me this fall, but it was a total bust. It sucks when people stare and make comments as they walk by, like—"loooook at thaaaaaat one!!!"
I used to claim that I didn't care what strangers thought, but apparently, I was lying to myself.😳
I’ve seen swimming lessons and clinics offered right next to hotels and resorts that employ activity coordinators.
Usually, these sessions take place early in the morning, while the beaches—or the pools—are still relatively empty.
I've had this for months now.
Now that I've come down with a cold, everything is completely congested, making the sound even more noticeable.
Read this and check out this topic.
After an exhaustive search, the doctor delivers the news: "I have two updates for you. One is bad, one is good. The bad news? This condition is completely unknown to modern medicine, there’s no cure, and you won't be around much longer. The good news? We're naming the disease after you."
I had a similar reaction to a Dove roll-on.
The conclusion? I’m hypersensitive to one of the ingredients.
I don't mess around with Nivea anymore. I haven't had another breakout since, and brands like Rexona, Dove, and Secret have been perfectly fine.
The worst part is that I actually believe these kinds of incidents are nearly impossible to prevent.
The blood was tested and came back negative for HIV, simply because not enough time had passed since the infection for antibodies to even develop.
It’s horrific.
I drink it. The Diet version, specifically.
Look, I’m aware it’s not exactly the most lethal thing I put in my body.
As for the whole "melting" argument, I have firsthand experience. I once spilled Sprite all over my keyboard. Within a few hours, several keys stopped working entirely. Once I took it apart, I realized parts of the internal circuitry had actually dissolved. I didn't touch Sprite, Cola, or anything similar for a long time after that.
Then, slowly, I started again... Ahhh.....
Rebecca Baker52 said:If you're starting Xenical, expect frequent trips to the bathroom. Plan your first dose for the weekend so you can figure out how often this happens and see exactly how it works without being stuck in an office or out in public. 🙂
😁 😁
Besides that, did you experience any other side effects?
Smajlic, sitting over there in the West: 😁
Ugh... I'm dealing with the exact same issues. (And summer is coming fast😢 )
My doctor suggested trying Xenical from Roche. It uses Orlistat to help block fat absorption...
Anyone here actually used this before?
I know people in my area who claim to be PASSIONATE SMOKERS...🙄 "passionate," my foot...
As if being that "passionate" gives them some kind of right to terrorize everyone else who isn't...
Then there are the decent smokers I know—people who actually pick a time and place so they don't bother anyone. Maybe they’re just regular addicts without all the drama...
It seems to me that the placebo effect plays an incredibly massive role in this entire situation.
Therefore, it isn't about whether we believe it—it's about whether YOU believe it.👍
User123 said:A little tip: stop eating foods that start with the same letter as your name. If you understand basic physics, you know like energies repel...
Phenomenal!!!! We have a brand new science: physical morphology!!!😁
Hmm... since that’s currently the only postulate of physical morphology, let's try a counter-argument:
- if food starting with my initial and my body (which also starts with my initial) repel each other, it just means my body will try to eject morphologically incompatible food as fast as possible... resulting in faster digestion... and ultimately, weight loss.... 😎
I'm sending this straight to Mickey Mouse, Drake, Tenacious D, and Gloria....👍
