Child Movie Stars: Where are they now? in Movies ·
Jose Thompson said:Clearly you haven't seen much Dakota. She never quite matched the performances she gave in "Man on Fire" or especially "Hounddog."

If we're talking about child actors, I’d point to the little girl from "Orphan," Isabelle Fuhrman—she's incredible. She was actually in "Hounddog" with Dakota.

Truth is, she wasn't even half as good in "Runaways" as she was in some of her earlier stuff.

And yeah, Isabelle is great, particularly in "Orphan."

I also forgot all about Saoirse Ronan—we could have seen her in "Atonement" with Keira Knightley, and then last year in "The Lovely Bones."

Honestly, Scarlett Johansson was pretty spot on as a kid in Interview with the Vampire 😁

William Lee34 said:That kid from Poltergeist—too bad he vanished, he absolutely killed that role.

Dakota Fanning. He basically went off the grid due to some substance issues. Didn't act for nearly four years, but apparently, he's making a comeback with a new flick. 😁
Man on Fire in Movies ·
Great movie. Denzel Washington is a powerhouse, I’m a huge fan of Dakota Fanning, and the plot actually keeps you hooked—I even shed a few tears by the end. 🙂

Dakota Fanning is a phenomenal actress—honestly, she puts most adult actors to shame with her range. She’s just easy to watch and incredibly professional.

I'd probably throw Dakota Fanning into that list too.
Vampires Suck in Movies ·
Found it and gave it a watch. Honestly, I’ve always had a soft spot for those cheesy parodies—they're a great way to laugh, especially when they're taking shots at Twilight.

There are plenty of solid, funny moments in there, though I can't help but think the movie would've been better if Buffy had more screen time—maybe even let her be the one to finish him off.😁

It’s a solid pick if you just want to zone out.

I honestly expected a masterpiece, but yeah, definitely not.

The highlight for me was when that girl shouts: Team Jacob bitch! 😁

Where'd you even see it? The rating in the USA is only 18.8 :/

My favorite part is in the trailer—when she just whacks her with a shovel!

Haha. When she actually dropped the name Gucci... xD total overreaction
Barbie (Makeup Artists) in Movies ·
It feels a little too much like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Honestly, they should have just stuck to cartoons... and strictly cartoons.
Bring It On in Movies ·
It’s a decent flick. Not quite hitting the heights of the third All or Nothing installment, though—that one was actually good. The first one is okay, but parts 2 and 4? Total garbage.
A Walk to Remember in Movies ·
I absolutely love this movie. Most people probably think it’s just a bit too sugary—way too much cheese for them—but honestly, you just can't help but tear up.
The Omen in Movies ·
Fair enough, but I was definitely expecting more.
Push (2009) in Movies ·
The movie was great. It felt a little surreal seeing Dakota in a role like this, though—she absolutely crushed it. I never had any doubts about her acting chops to begin with. 👍

Great little movie. Honestly, the book hits a bit harder, but I actually appreciated how little they changed for the film version. It’s such a classic—I had a blast watching it, especially that part where she pulls the credit card out of the ice. Hilarious. 🙂
Stardust in Movies ·
Great movie. Seriously. Robert De Niro is absolutely killing it in this one. Haha.
Sarah Michelle Gellar in Movies ·
Nah. You aren't the only one capable of spotting bad acting—and you aren't always right, either. People are always going to split on stuff like this—books, movies, actors, singers, songs—it doesn't matter. Opinions will always clash. For example, I didn't see anything special about Brad Pitt when every girl was screaming his name back in the day. So, I'm done arguing; nothing I say is going to change your mind, just like you aren't changing mine. To me, Sarah has been my icon since I was eight years old, and absolutely nothing is changing that.
Sarah Michelle Gellar in Movies ·
I know for a fact Sharon Stone started acting when she was in her early twenties. Still, she’s racked up way more credits than Sarah has so far—it's mostly just a twenty-year head start. Anyway, what are you... a director, an actor, a producer, or a writer? If you're judging acting quality like this, you probably know a thing or two about the craft.
Sarah Michelle Gellar in Movies ·
No way, that’s just not how it works.
Sharon Stone definitely had way more experience under her belt than Sarah when she filmed Basic Instinct. She was already in her 30s, whereas Sarah was only 23 during her role in Cruel Intentions. And let's be real—Sharon's work back then wasn't exactly groundbreaking either. You can't look at any actor and decide they're stuck being mediocre forever; people said the exact same thing about plenty of stars who are absolutely killing it today. As for whether you find her attractive—well, that's just subjective. I personally think a lot of people who everyone else calls gorgeous are actually quite plain. An actor grows with time—talent is built through actual work. Who knows, maybe even Emma Roberts will turn into something special. Nobody can predict the future.

Look, I don't read Teen or anything—I'm not ten years old anymore.
You really think I'm not mature enough to have an opinion on who's a talented actor?
I've been studying acting since I was six.
I feel like I've picked up a few things over the last decade or so.
If you want to claim Sarah isn't good, that's your humble opinion.
I think she's great—that's mine.
But honestly, neither of us are actual experts here.
Besides, we aren't the ones casting these movies.
If we don't like a film, we just don't watch it.
But you can't take away my conviction that she's the best. Not from me.
And as for Cruel Intention... try playing a role like that yourself.
I mean, all those awards and nominations she landed for that movie and for Buffy pretty much speak for themselves.
