I just checked the roster, and out of the 17 players, 9 are locals from Qatar, and the rest are foreigners. I actually thought there were even fewer home-grown guys than that.
Anyway, I watched them for the first time today, and you could say they fairly handled the Poles. Sure, the refs made two or three questionable calls that went their way, but that's just how it goes at every single championship—they tend to favor the host nation.
We basically got a front-row seat to how much of a disaster the Polish team is right now, and even some amateur squad couldn't outsmart them.🙂
I'm with you on this one. Qatar pretty much brushed the Poles aside; they were clearly a class above them. It was my first time watching them too, and I had the same thought—that since they're the hosts, someone just dumped a ton of cash into the program and called it a day. But man, these guys play well, and they've got that octopus Saric in goal, who was pulling down nearly 50% saves today!!!

They had to remove a section of his bowel, and according to the blood work and everything else, there aren't any visible metastases. However, the doctors explained that he needs to go on chemotherapy as a preventative measure, and they actually started him on an oral chemo regimen last week. (Since we don't live in the same city, I unfortunately don't have the specific name of the medication on hand.) I wanted to throw a few questions out there: 1. He was given certain pills that he’s supposed to take before his actual chemo tablets, and then others to take afterward (if I understood the instructions correctly). He’s also supposed to eat something before taking the chemo meds, but we’re totally lost—what would be the best thing for him to eat? I’d love any advice on diet while he's going through this treatment. 2. For the last two months, he’s been drinking Taheebo tea, taking black seed oil (which he absolutely hates!), and using aloe vera. Should he stop all of that now that he's starting his chemo cycles?
I’m really hoping for some answers here because the doctors haven't given us much direction, and he starts the next round in just two days... thanks!

Out of all the options provided, the first one was probably the closest, even if it wasn't exactly spot on. I mean, my cycles are basically every 18 to 20 days and they last about 3 to 4 days...🙄 I get regular checkups and everything seems fine, I guess? But my gynecologist told me that I’m likely heading toward menopause pretty soon, which—let’s be real—is something I am definitely not thrilled to hear at my age (39 😍). She says based on everything she's seeing, there's a huge chance it's coming my way! ...ugh...
I just seriously need to vent some of this joy to someone somewhere!..🙂 Honestly, I’ve had nothing but terrible luck with dentists for the longest time. It was always one of two things: either their work was just subpar quality, or I ended up in so much pain afterward that my mouth would be swollen and throbbing... you know how it is.🙄
But finally, I actually found a couple of dentists (yes, two of them!) who managed to actually cure my fear—and let me tell you, it was straight-up panic before—of that dreaded dental chair, and I am genuinely thrilled with the results they delivered.

Everything else is subject to review at the County level. Was it really Rasberger's wish to bring both Madonna and Thompson to the tournament?! Was that desire even appropriate? It felt like a provocation. Why should the established order or the regulations be altered for anyone? In this case, it was Thompson, and no one actually crucified him for it. The "demons" are just the fans. I don't know what they're shouting, nor do I care to pay attention. Because, as you well know, there will always be outliers everywhere.

Every project mentioned is practically impossible to complete in the short term; realistically, we are looking at a ten to fifty-year planning horizon. The San Francisco bypass has finally secured its location permit and is moving toward massive infrastructure improvements. As for the garage near the library, progress is stalled due to the investor, Zagorec, dealing with the reality of an archaeological site... making any movement according to the plan impossible. The floating platform won't happen because the waterfront is in such poor condition, and they have to solve the systemic issues one by one...
On a related note, since we are on the subject... I have to wonder: what connection could Kajin or Jakovčić possibly have to San Francisco when it comes to actual construction efforts?
San Francisco remains a city that, according to most surveys, is highly desirable for living, primarily because its culture and unique charms far outweigh the occasional traffic jams or crime rates...
Okay, let's talk about that garage near the library. Wasn't the waterfront in the exact same condition when they made those massive, over-the-top announcements about building that floating garage?
What's the connection between Kajin, Nina, and San Francisco? Is it the executive branch? The Governor? The ruling party? If you don't know how that works, how am I supposed to explain it to you?...
And what are these "other perks" you're talking about? I mean, surely nobody, when they're scouting out a potential new place to live, is going to be obsessing over traffic congestion or crime rates. Everyone has their own priorities, but I can almost guarantee yours aren't at the top of the list.
