There is nothing quite like that mid-offseason limbo where you’re just staring at injury reports and wondering if your favorite players are actually going to be able to compete. It’s a weird kind of mental torture for fans. You want to be optimistic, but you also don't want to get your hopes up only to see a setback right when things are finally getting interesting.
I remember back in a few years ago, I was riding high on preseason hype for a certain receiver, thinking he was going to have a career year. Then came the news that he was sidelined, and the whole momentum of my season just evaporated. It’s frustrating because you want to see the guys at 100%, but part of the game is just dealing with this constant uncertainty.
Do you guys find yourselves getting more anxious during the offseason, or do you just tune out until the actual games start?
