Your last comment was SO incredibly stupid and baseless, just totally clueless and full of misunderstandings. I honestly doubt any kind of response from me could actually help you understand...

Listen to me closely, you little punk.
Up until now, I’ve been pretty decent when posting on this thread—maybe excluding my very first post—but I can usually handle a little initial annoyance.
After the nonsense you just spewed, though? I don't know how anyone could.

Anyway, after that first irritation, I made a real effort NOT to troll you. Instead, I actually tried to wrap my head around your logic and maybe present some actual arguments to back up my views.

And I gotta admit, I was REALLY successful at holding myself back.
But seriously, enough is enough.

Because look; I laid out EVERY single one of my claims and stances regarding those charlatans with solid reasoning in my last post. Since it's a bit harder to prove my points off the top of my head (because let's face it, I'm definitely no trained music theorist—not that I think they even matter), I tried using a proper analogy to make my point easier for you to grasp.

Bottom line: in my opinion, even a lobotomized ox [kudos, Daniel Bailey7! 😉] would get exactly what I'm saying, but alas! Not you.

On the flip side, all your little gems basically boil down to "there's no point in arguing" if someone doesn't agree with you; or just a simple "Vangelis is my favorite" without providing even a tiny shred of an argument or an explanation as to why.

Oh, right, I forgot, there's no point in arguing about it, right?

Well, if there's no point, then why don't you just beat it? It's SO DAMN OBVIOUS that you have absolutely nothing to gain or say here.

P-fucking-s: to that incredibly rude, patronizing, and completely empty "you wouldn't understand" statement you used to desperately mask your own idiocy, I'll say just this:
try me, dammit, if you dare!
What's your favorite? in Music ·
No way...

How am I supposed to pick just one track out of a thousand?!

It's impossible.

Hey, Rabbit, you got a little something in your eye?

"Modern classics? There’s no such thing as a modern classic, honey..."

Oh, they exist, honey.

Take Vangelis, for example—I find him way more interesting than just any random artist.

So, what is it about him that grabs you?

By that logic, Pink Floyd and Radiohead are just boring old relics... and if I really want to throw my own opinion into the ring about what's "boring," then we're talking Metallica, Nirvana, Tricky, even Mozart and Bach... I mean, seriously...

Do you actually believe that?

Daniel Bailey7 said:What about those newer classics? Maybe some Moby, Sash!, or what was that Italian guy's name... oh yeah, Robert Miles 😁😁😁

How about Gigi D'Agostino? 😁

Look, man.
Did I say anything? Maybe. But bringing up Vangelis and Jarre in the same breath as the stuff we're talking about? You totally missed the mark on that one. Seriously.

Here's the deal: Jarre and Vangelis are, to put it bluntly, just plain boring. If there was a death penalty for crimes against musical taste, those two would be first on the list. No contest.

[Okay, alright, fine... I’d maybe give Vangelis twenty years in a federal penitentiary. Every once in a while, he actually drops a decent track. But Jarre? He's not even worth the contempt.]

"For instance, I could totally call Vangelis the Mozart of the Classical Era—you know, the Mozart of Electronic Music."

Yeah, right.
And Yanni? He's basically Bach.

Bach. Bachahah. Bwachahcahcahcahhac.

Oh, come on, stop whining.

Look, Vangelis and Jarre are just boring, self-indulgent hacks who built their entire careers off maybe two or three decent melodies. It’s honestly pathetic if you're using them—and all that pompous New Age nonsense—as the gold standard for electronic composers.

Out of that bunch, even though he's the most corny, Yanni is actually my favorite.

Do yourself a favor and go listen to what Stockhausen and Schaeffer were doing fifty years ago, then rethink that whole idea...
Straight from Hell in Movies ·
Honestly, I can't even remember a single movie where he wasn't high on something 🙂

The movie itself? Eh, it was just okay.
The vibe is killer and it looks absolutely gorgeous, but man, they totally trashed it with all those cheap twists and turns.
I mean, seriously, MASONIC conspiracies?! 🙂
Shrek vs. Monsters, Inc. vs. Ice Age in Movies ·
Man, seriously, none of these are even half as good as Emperor's New Groove.
🙂

Monsters, Inc. and Shrek are absolute bangers, and Ice Age is... I don't know, okay? Kind of solid, kind of pathetic, kind of annoying all at once.

And oh my god, Toy Story 2 is just so freaking adorable, it's pure bliss. Honestly, I'm gonna (swear I won't flake!) watch both of them tomorrow.

Hmm, damn it, now I feel like I gotta rewatch Lilo & Stitch too.
And Spirited Away.

Long live animation! Woo!
