Elvis Presley said:brightscout63, if you actually end up seeing that absolute disaster of a movie, I can promise you one thing: this week is gonna be a total wash for you.
...and the rest of you? Honestly, you're all just conformists... ...why are we even pretending everything's fine? If American cinema is totally trashed, let's have the guts to just say it instead of acting like it isn't garbage (I mean, it could always get worse, right?)... ...any real artist would rather do nothing than produce something mediocre, but around here, people have been churning out "something" for ages...and even that "something" is bottom-of-the-barrel stuff... .... Cheers to Ivo G.—literally the only bright spot in this whole film!—the guy actually knows how to act, major props!
amberfalcon172 is already quoting himself, so I guess I’ll do the same, here goes: "You're an idiot. Go kick rocks."

So, I actually gave it a spin just a few days ago. And man, let me tell you—the subtitle options are weak. Like, seriously weak. Not to mention the punctuation! It kept throwing everything at the START of the sentence or the beginning of every single subtitle line. Total mess, right? I honestly don't think I saw a single setting to fix that nonsense anywhere.
Plus, when you look at the sheer amount of customization and settings available, BSPlayer totally blows all the other players I've messed with out of the water. It's way more powerful, hands down.
[By the way, Damien, if you aren't using VLC Media Player right now, seriously, stop what you're doing and go grab it. It handles EVERYTHING perfectly. Just does it right!]
Gybe basically just "borrowed" one track, supposedly from that f#a#oo album (the only one I haven't checked out yet)...
Man, seeing Grandaddy show up totally caught me off guard. I mean, if there’s any song that feels completely out of place for The Day After (and ugh, honestly, that movie was kind of a dud anyway), it’s definitely AM 180.
hm. I’m totally convinced that’s exactly how they recorded dialogue in those old classic American movies! You know what I mean? The voices coming out of the actors just don't have that sense of "space." You can actually HEAR the sound bouncing off the wooden walls of some studio where they're dubbing everything in later. Basically, if a scene is supposed to be happening outside, it just doesn't sound like it's actually happening there. It feels fake.
On the flip side, I really don't think that's how things are done anymore. Technology has come such a long way! There's zero point in doing all that extra work in a studio when those high-end microphones on set can capture and transmit perfectly authentic sound right from the location.
Maybe the outdated recording tech from 20 or 30 years ago made it necessary back then, but not now!

Imagine just firing up Baldur's Gate and heading straight into some cozy little tavern, right?
You could even run it on two PCs at once if you really want that full stereo vibe.
Ugh, here I am again... wasting my life on Google because I can't remember if it's spelled "perrson," "persson," or "personn." Is it really that hard?
Nina, you hit the nail on the head.
As for more recent stuff, there’s this lady who sings in a band called Frou Frou. Honestly? Such a silly, ridiculous name for a band! But man, she has this absolutely, stunningly gorgeous, dreamy voice... It's kind of like Björk, but not quite so fragmented.
Actually, I don't even know if she's like Björk at all... argh! whatever.

Like, seriously, how is he gonna get rich if he's still stuck in the past? Makes you wonder, right?
Just because they aren't dropping tracks about it doesn't mean it isn't there, you know? Like, seriously! You think just because it isn't in the lyrics, it doesn't exist? Please! It's all happening behind the scenes! 🙂

Personally, I think the best part is when Wolverine—right at the end of the fight—just goes nuts with that bullet or whatever crazy element they used. It's right before he hits the floor like a rock in a lake, that poison the bad guy was using to control them finally wears off—and for those one or two seconds while he's dying, he actually becomes himself again and finally realizes everything that happened.

Yeah, right... What about those 10,000 people at the stadium concerts a few years back? If I remember correctly, that was his big comeback show after ages—so what do you call them if they aren't die-hard fans?!
Nicole Baker said:I actually got smacked in the head with a plastic water bottle the other day just because I said Mišo Kovač totally sucks. Seriously? I don't need that kind of energy in my life... 🙄
You're really playing with fire here. The guy has as much to do with country music as a heavy metal band has to do with deep house.
