And we weren't even allowed to hit 100k with NP. It wasn't just a rule, either—they were actually firing moderators over stuff like that. So there you go. 🙏

Sisters of Mercy in Music ·
Look, this isn't a thread about Nightwish, so please stop derailing the conversation. 😠
The music was alright, but I saw the tutor at the theater last winter and that little drummer girl was just cursing everyone out. Honestly, the Cakani acts are more like eye candy than anything else 😍 I haven't even gotten around to listening to Delicate Dalibor yet, so I'll get to that soon.
Female Directors in Movies ·
Honestly, the only name that comes to mind is Nora Ephron, though I’ve never really been a fan of those sugary rom-coms she churns out. 🤷(Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail)
Look, there's absolutely no way you can put her in the same league as someone like Martin Scorsese, but the woman is still a 🤷
director.
Pineapple Express! in Movies ·
Honestly, Pineapple Express is barely tolerable at best. There are maybe two decent jokes in the entire movie, but everything else was just painful to sit through. Seth Rogen overacts so much that he becomes incredibly grating after about thirty minutes. I could barely make it to the credits.

Meh effect.

Kevin Chavez3 said:@čvins - if I remember correctly, last year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was held on random days too, was it Monday and Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday... 🤔

Look, Lalić, August is the month when nobody is even thinking about college. I know you graduated ages ago, but maybe you actually remember how things work. 😛 June is the real nightmare because that’s when you're drowning in make-up exams, practicals, and trying to chase down professors for signatures. 😠
Man, this is honestly a joke. Who picks Tuesday and Wednesday for dates like this? 😠 Real people have college classes to get to and stuff to deal with, not to be stuck traveling mid-week. I don't know, 🤷 if they don't book some massive headliner—like someone on the level of Radiohead, which isn't happening anyway—I'm just not going.

Raymond Palmer8 said:You're a real genius. The only thing is, I mentioned three movies, and clearly you can't count that high—though you're more than happy to lecture everyone else about how they've lost their damn minds, right?
Look, people already brought up those films before me; I was just saying how I see Roth in them. Something you could have figured out yourself if you weren't so... preoccupied...
And regarding Penn, just look at the top of my post.

🙂 Just so we're clear, my comment wasn't aimed only at you, but there's obviously a reason why you felt personally attacked. 😉

Deceiver is a total 😍
Tim Roth in Movies ·
It honestly drives me nuts when people watch Pulp Fiction or Four Rooms and suddenly think they’ve mastered cinema, acting like they can just jump to conclusions about an actor's entire career based on one or two movies. 👍

Take Sean Penn, for example. To me, he’s just... meh. I’ve sat through more than a couple of his films, so I’m speaking from experience here. In my book, he’s totally overrated and gets way too much hype, but hey, that’s just my take. Personally, I think Tim Roth is a much better actor. It just feels like British actors don't get nearly enough credit or pay in America compared to everyone else.
Tim Roth in Movies ·
I mean, Deceiver absolutely floored me. I’ve sat through that movie at least five times now, and every single time, I’m just sitting there stunned, like I’m seeing it for the very first time. 🙏

Honestly, I have so much respect for him because of that performance. 😬

keke said:I see people bringing up MTV, but honestly, I can't even remember the last time I actually saw a music video on that channel.😕

🤣 This is the absolute truth. Shows like 'Let's Get Married in a Rush' and 'Record While We Vomit' are basically what plays on MTV these days.🤷

I just have no clue when MTV became some kind of gold standard for musical quality. Half of you guys are talking nonsense. I'm with gentlepuma20 on this one, and yeah, stormywolf39 hit the nail on the head too.😁
She's a catch, man. Catch ya later. 😉
!!! Man, they absolutely crushed it. Seriously, they just tore the house down. I walked in there without any massive expectations, honestly, because their stuff never really struck me as anything life-changing before, but holy crap... wow. 😍 😍 I didn't stop jumping for even a single second. Honestly, I think I actually caused more kidney damage to the girl standing next to me than I intended. Then, I just grabbed the bartender in a huge hug and yelled directly into his ear that I love him. 😍 I absolutely love how Nic dances. It’s unreal. And that Black lady? She was easily the highlight of the whole night when she stormed into the crowd just to ask if anyone had some Duvet on them. 🤣

Best live band ever. Period. 🙏

I used to absolutely love Sonikjut aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa—they were just pure genius, though I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. Honestly, I actually got a little misty-eyed when they started playing "Do You Believe in Rapture." 😳
I haven't watched The Hold Steady since the very beginning, but man, those guys were actually pretty charming and funny—even if they were pretty much hammered most of the time. 😍

Honestly, most of the other acts just didn't hit the mark for me. The Mandreys were straight-up boring, though I will say ADF was pretty solid. As for Roísin? Total letdown. She really should have worn a bra. 🙄 Or at least wear an opaque shirt if she’s really going to go without a bra. 🙄

I honestly didn't have the patience to stand in those endless lines just to grab some vouchers, so I decided to skip the drinks altogether. Instead, we ended up befriending this one girl working security who was actually sweet enough to hand us a bottle of wine. She’s got a heart of gold. She even hooked us up with a Happy Mondays setlist. 🙂

I'm ready. Send over the text you need me to rework. I'll make sure it sounds like an actual person—not some bot—while keeping that specific, gritty, ranty vibe you asked for. Just remember: everything stays strictly in the US, all names get swapped per your list, and I won't touch a single word of the "no translation" rule. Lay it on me.
Happy Mondays are actually performing 👋
Wait, are you kidding me? The Hold Steady at Coachella 😕 Is this for real? Seriously? 😵

icucek 🎉 Well, happy days! Just my luck that I already bought a ticket 🥳 😍

Jerry Martin19 said:Legolas is just such a bland, cookie-cutter character—all white and glowing. He works perfectly as Legolas, though. Honestly, maybe alongside Gollum, he’s one of the best characters in Lord of the Rings. He really brought his own 😉

And yeah, let's be real: he wouldn't have even landed the part if it wasn't for her. But I'll give you that—he hasn't exactly shown off any massive acting range. He's fine when he's playing roles that fit him, but I seriously doubt we'll ever see him tackle anything more complex than being a pretty face who smirks a lot. 🙂

I mean, there's no denying the female audience loves watching him regardless of what he's doing, but that's a different story. 😍
Orlando Bloom in Movies ·
To guy is just endlessly bland to me. Setting aside his looks or how he acts, he’s just empty. There's zero charisma, zero depth. Maybe it isn't even his fault—maybe it's just the roles he picks—but the reality is that any decent actor brings a little bit of their own soul to a part. He just stays the same, totally featureless, no matter what. All that good looks 😢
won't save him.
