Hey everyone! Does anyone know a decent neurosurgeon, maybe somewhere between Indianapolis and Washington, D.C.? We’re dealing with a cervical spine situation that’s actually gotten even worse after surgery to remove two polyps, and frankly, it's a mess. We really need to get a second opinion from someone who actually knows what they're doing, but there isn't a single neurosurgeon in my neck of the woods! Any leads? Thanks!
Thanks for getting back to me so fast. Honestly though, I’m a little sketched out by taking something like Excedrin Migraine—is it going to wreck my stomach like Advil does? Does it actually eat away at your stomach lining?
Also, about those muscle relaxant pills... do they make you drowsy? I’ve got some Diazepam on hand right now, but man, when I take it, the sleepiness hits me like a freight train! I can't take it while I'm at work because I end up feeling like a total zombie 🙂 so I just have to sit there and suffer through the pain instead.
So, it’s been a little while, but over the last two months I’ve been walking at least 2.5 miles every single day, though I did take a break maybe three or four times—I even braved the snow and ice a few times, haha!
And honestly? It's still the exact same thing. I’d go see a doctor if I could, but right now the waiting rooms are absolutely packed with people catching the flu, and god forbid, I don't want to pick up some nasty virus just to deal with this.
Regarding the massage thing, should I actually have it massaged when it hurts, or can I get one even when there isn't any pain?
By the way, the other day I got hit so hard by this pain that I felt totally nauseous; first, of course, it was above the (_i_) area, then it stopped there and just slammed into my right side. I was dying from the pain in bed—it hurt so much it actually woke me up. And then, get this, my muscles felt completely relaxed the next morning, like nothing had even happened (though when it's actually happening, it is UNBELIEVABLY uncomfortable).
There’s absolutely no way I’m staying bedridden. Like I already told you, I’m out on the track almost every single day. I’ve started walking, at least 3 2.5 miles, every damn day. So we’ll just have to wait and see how things play out, right?
Man, I am dealing with a similar issue and it is absolutely KILLING me. Out of nowhere, every six or seven days, my back just starts acting up. And the pain isn't even steady—it shifts around all day long. It starts with these muscle pains right along the spine, just above the glutes. Then, before I know it, the ache migrates up to my shoulder blade, and then finally hits my right shoulder and that neck muscle. It’s ALWAYS the right side, specifically that muscle running up toward the neck, not the bone itself. Honestly, I could probably deal with the back stuff, but it's what happens next that's the real nightmare: this intense tension kicks in, and my head starts throbbing so hard around my eye and temple that I feel like I'm going to pass out. When that pain hits its peak, I can't do anything for the rest of the day. I work at a computer, sure, but I'm not stuck in an office cubicle all day; I make it a point to get up every fifteen minutes or so. I even play soccer recreationally, hitting the field almost every single day, but even that doesn't seem to help. What's weird is that it doesn't happen daily, but every week or so, and it's become so frequent and exhausting that I just can't take it anymore. Has anyone else dealt with a syndrome like this, where back pain triggers these insane headaches? It’s always the right side that destroys me. And it doesn't even feel like a typical headache; it's more like this crushing tension that makes me feel incredibly drowsy and weak once it really takes hold for a few hours.
Guys, I have a problem that is absolutely KILLING me. Out of nowhere, my back starts acting up roughly every six or seven days, and the pain just wanders all over the place throughout the day. It starts with these muscle aches right along my spine, just above my glutes, and then it migrates up to my shoulder blade, eventually hitting my right shoulder and that specific neck muscle—always on the right side, mind you, not the bone, but that muscle that runs up toward my neck. I could probably deal with the back stuff if it didn't trigger this insane tension that travels straight to my head! It hits my eye area and temple so hard that I feel like I'm going to pass out. When that headache kicks in, I honestly can't function at all; the whole day is just a total wash because of the agony. I work at a computer, but I make sure to get up every fifteen minutes or so—I don't just sit in an office chair all day. I even play soccer recreationally, and I'm out on the field almost every single day, but somehow that doesn't help one bit. What's weird is that it isn't a daily thing, but this cycle every week or so has become so frequent and exhausting that I just can't take it anymore. Does anyone else deal with a syndrome where back pain triggers these absolutely brutal headaches? It’s always the right side that destroys me. And it’s not even a typical headache; it’s this intense, tightening sensation that makes me feel incredibly drowsy and weak for a few hours while it's crushing me.
If there is one thing I actually consider good, it’s that Kamelot album, Black Hall. Every single time I put it on, I'm just picturing pirate ships and all that stuff—it's such a beautiful record and honestly, it's just pure power metal. 🙂
Look, I’ll be the first to admit that DragonForce is absolutely legendary, but honestly? Symphony of Enchanted Lands II is just a total slog to get through. It’s barely even metal anymore, is it? At this point, I’m just sitting here counting down the days until we finally get some new music from Blind Guardian!
ironfalcon18 said:I picked this up right when I arrived in the States 😁 It’s a total genius move—it stands out from all those other typical symphonic albums because it's actually incredible, easily the best in the genre. With 21 tracks, you can really sink your teeth into Therion 🙏 Maybe Therion Lemur is a tiny bit weaker than Sirius b, but they're both absolute gems. Honestly, it’s fair that the band charges a little extra for them. The Planet version is a double digipak $52 I bought mine back in Cleveland $58.
I ordered mine directly from Planet, except the shipping costs are just ridiculous $10 and then the delivery guy tries to shake me down for an extra $2.25 so by the time you're done, the shipping ends up being $12!! 😠 But hey, for Therion, it's worth every penny $83 😁

Look, if we're talking Anathema, "A Natural Disaster" and "Eternity" are way better, and for P. Lost, "One Second" is the winner.👍
