Pretty much everyone! I can be annoyed, mad, or even furious with Lewis, but he isn't the one running the race or handing out penalties. I actually want to believe the SC overtaking error was just an honest mistake—just pure clumsiness. If I didn't believe that, I wouldn't be able to watch this anymore.
Look, Lewis is a massive rival for him in the championship. Both in terms of points and raw pace. The gap isn't impossible to close. To me, it's perfectly natural that this situation bugs him. I keep trying to say that's the key here, not some "whining."
When Alonso "whines" about Lewis's penalty, who is he actually talking to? McLaren, Lewis, or the FIA? He's clearly aiming it at whoever handed out the penalty.
Besides, this "statement from Alonso" served up via Ferrari's own channels feels like nothing more than Ferrari trying to play damage control and quiet things down.
There's no fixing it now. What needed to be said has been said, and dragging it out further will only make things worse.
So, let's just move on.
How can you say that? Before the SC, Lewis was right behind Sebastian Vettel—then after the SC and that penalty, his chance to fight for P1 just evaporated. How could he not be affected by that?

No, Lewis isn't any more of a threat to him than Vettel, Mark Webber, or Jenson Button 😉
Even if Lewis had been black-flagged today, Button would have scooped up those points—meaning there was absolutely no way for Alonso to benefit from it.🤷
