Don't forget Gasly moved on with mediums, which just shows how much they've actually improved. Honestly, I’m looking forward to today's race. Looking at the race pace, everyone seems to be right in the mix. It won't be anyone pulling away into the distance, except maybe Max. Not even Mercedes.

Yeah, you can totally see how much of a massive leap Honda has made just by looking at those AlphaTauri results. Seriously, props to them.

When I was typing up my post, I was looking at this article;
So, I was digging through this report about the whole Vettel mess and honestly, it’s just more of the same nonsense we deal with every single season. Basically, Vettel got himself flagged for that flag offense, and you can tell the officials are really making a thing out of it now. It’s all a bit much, isn't it? One minute everything is fine, the next you're looking at penalties because of some technicality that feels like it was pulled out of thin air. I mean, look, we all know how these things go. The rules change depending on who’s watching or how much they want to make an example out of someone. It's exhausting. You watch these races thinking you're seeing pure competition, and then some bureaucrat steps in to ruin the flow because of a tiny slip-up. It doesn't even feel like racing anymore sometimes; it feels like following a manual for a toaster. Anyway, whatever. It’s just another day in the circus. Grab your coffee, sit back, and watch them find something else to penalize tomorrow. It's predictable at this point.

Vettel is under investigation because of Sainz, not that whole Mazepin mess.

I'm leaning towards thinking Alonso might actually end up taking a penalty after qualifying...

Total misinformation there—Vettel is actually the only one who got summoned by the stewards for ignoring yellow flags. His hearing is set for tomorrow at 1:30 PM.

Ferrari seriously made the biggest leap forward with their car and engine setup, and honestly, it’s pretty obvious these new regs just absolutely wrecked the low-rake cars.

We all needed someone else out there on the track instead of Mercedes. Honestly. Just hoping this isn't a one-hit wonder for a single qualifying session...

Kimi, after being the only guy who managed to get under someone's skin during pre-season testing, he’s gone and become the first one to wreck his car in the new season too 🙏 🙏

Every driver needs a handful of races just to actually feel one with the car. Especially in this era where we basically get zero testing time. But Ocon and Stroll have been at it longer, and honestly, they don't look particularly fast. Though, I guess Practice 2 will give us a better idea since that's when they run the race/qualifying simulations.

Aston Martin and Alpine look pretty rough out there in the first practice session, and honestly, they didn't exactly blow anyone away during pre-season testing either.

Where the hell is Alan? He needs to open a thread properly instead of all this clown show going on here. 😕

Might actually be an interesting season, if you ask me. ☕

Gotta mention that Kimi spin too. Just one of those things, totally unforced, just bad luck. Even Sebastian Vettel's spin was basically nothing compared to that, according to Daniel Ricciardo.
So, you gonna quit watching this NASCAR junk then?
Look, if you aren't one of those people who lives for conspiracy theories, you can check out what actually went down during that infamous Mercedes pit stop right here;

The tire meant for George just rolled away by accident, so the mechanic ended up slapping Bottas's tire onto Russell instead. Rear left. Everything after that was just pure chaos... Honestly, such a brutal stroke of bad luck for a talented young Englishman.
Kenneth Cruz67 said:But where on earth were they? What was actually going on with them? Were they even the ones driving this thing? 😬

I guess by "good race," you just mean they didn't completely mess everything up, right? 🤔

They squeezed every bit of life out of that car, just like they have every single time over the last five years.
Anyway, Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel both put in solid races.

You're irrelevant.
stormytiger4 said:Look, it doesn't have to be limited to just those two...

Look, you and I? We're in the exact same boat.
stormytiger4 said:So, which camp are you in?

Neither.
The perfect race for all those armchair conspiracy theorists and people who don't have a clue what they're talking about.
