This looks remarkably similar to a flying ant bite. My partner went through the exact same thing two years ago during the summer—and since he didn't head to the doctor immediately, he ended up stuck on a regimen of antibiotics and a mountain of antihistamines. He even developed a fever.
The pain was intense; he could barely stand, let alone function. To make matters worse, a sort of pustule formed right in the center of the redness. In short—it looked quite gruesome.
It would be wise to visit a primary care physician just to be safe. 😉
If this weren't so pathetic, it might actually be funny... I honestly don't even know how to respond to a post this "brilliant." 👎
Unfortunately, I deal with two distinct types of vertigo 👎. One set stems from my cervical spine—which I’ve managed to get somewhat under control—and the other is tied directly to my menstrual cycle. There is a massive difference between them: when the neck issues flare up, I take some Xanax, my muscles finally relax, and everything settles down. But these other episodes? They absolutely wreck me, and nothing seems to touch the pain. When my period is light, I can handle it, but when it hits hard 🙂
I also attempted those balance exercises 👎
Have you actually had your hormone levels checked?
I am at my wits' end with this, and frankly, I'm just furious 😠
My blood pressure has always been perfectly fine, so I’m ruling that out.
I just picked up my lab results—iron levels are at 13. Technically within the normal range. Now I have to head back to the OBGYN to figure out what the next step is. I wonder if they’ll actually bother ordering a full hormone panel? 🤷
Anyway, nothing has been resolved yet... 🙄
So, I just left my OB-GYN. She recommended that I get some blood work done—again—just to double-check my iron levels. I went in today, which happens to be day four of my cycle. Honestly, I don't think that's the issue since I’ve never dealt with iron deficiency issues before; why would I suddenly have 🤷? Regardless, it’s better to run the tests just to rule it out so we can move on to more substantial diagnostics.
It seems... quite obvious that there aren't many of you dealing with this particular little issue here.😲
...it’s clearly just a standard yeast infection... honestly, she really ought to see an OB-GYN... if she refuses to do that, then someone should just go ahead and pick up some Johnson & Johnson vaginal suppositories and cream... it would be over in a heartbeat...
I had my checkup yesterday with my insurance-covered gynecologist, and she performed a Pap smear. However, since I dealt with HPV a few years back—thank God that’s behind me—she suggested it would be wise to run tests for HPV, chlamydia, and a few other things as well. She mentioned I need to drop by her office in the morning to coordinate everything once the Pap results are actually ready. But reading through your posts here, I’m seeing people mention having to pick up specific vials and then physically transporting those samples back after the swab is done. Is this standard practice for all public health clinics, or do some CDC-affiliated facilities handle the sample transport themselves?
thanks
@ Angela Wright... I've checked everything—both my thyroid levels and my hormonal balance. Now, I just need to get a final word from my OB-GYN.
@ ezop..... Surely you aren't suggesting I have to wait until menopause? That would be an eternity—I'm only 26.
I wasn't anemic either—and I’ve already seen a neurologist, who confirmed everything is perfectly fine from a neurological standpoint.
The dizziness just won't quit—it lasts all day long... though occasionally things settle down a bit in the evening. Typically, it kicks in around day three of my cycle and persists until about day seven (and sometimes even longer). It feels as if the ground is constantly shifting beneath me; everything spins, my head feels foggy... honestly, it’s like being intoxicated. 🤷
I’ve been dealing with persistent dizziness for quite some time now. Over the last year, I’ve been seeing a physical therapist—dealing with some issues in my cervical spine—who has actually been a huge help. The episodes are much less frequent and significantly milder now. However, despite that progress, I’ve noticed a recurring pattern: the dizziness almost always flares up during my period, and sometimes lingers for a few days after it ends. It happens nearly every single month. I also realized that my complaints tend to follow this exact same schedule—it's become a predictable cycle. At times, the vertigo is simply unbearable.
Does anyone else here experience something similar? Is there any chance these dizzy spells are tied to hormonal fluctuations during that specific phase of the cycle? (I am planning to consult with my OB-GYN, of course, but I figured I would gather some insight here first).
Thanks
James Cox6 said:how can you even drink that?! Every time I take a sip, it tastes like I'm drinking dirt mixed with water.
GROSS.
Yes, it’s revolting... but what choice do you have? The one I'm using now is decent enough to drink straight—though before that, I had a version that was absolutely vile, so I’d just dilute it with some water and juice (strawberry works best)... and honestly, it’s fine.
Besides, this isn't some refreshing little juice; it's meant to be a type of medicine, and it wasn't designed to taste good in the first place.😉
So, what's the situation on your end?
How high is your astigmatism level?
Jacob Barnes5 said:So, what kind of experience have you had with it? Did you actually find that it helped you out?🙂
Well, I only started drinking it a few days ago. It isn't some kind of miracle cure. 🤣
I'm sticking with it for a few more weeks... for now, I’m taking three tablespoons twice a day... we'll see how it goes... I just hope it actually helps. 🙂
Just one question—do these spots persist constantly, or do they only show up occasionally?
To be clear, I deal with cervical spine issues, which often lead to intense bouts of vertigo. On top of that, I have significant astigmatism in my right eye—about 90 percent. Every so often, I experience what I call "strange vision." It’s essentially a blurriness characterized by white spots, tiny specks, and things of that nature. When the dizziness hits, this "strange vision" tends to intensify.
Has anyone else here dealt with anything similar?
Thanks for the reply. I ended up going with the Calivita Noni juice. Apparently, that’s supposed to be the top tier stuff. We shall see... 🤷
Greetings everyone,
I know this topic has likely surfaced here before—I just can't seem to track down the specific thread—but I am curious about your actual experiences with Noni juice. Which brand should one actually buy?
There are several varieties out there, and naturally, the price points vary wildly. Price isn't my primary concern, but I have no intention of throwing money away $133 simply because one person swears by a specific label while another insists a $200 bottle is the superior choice.
Additionally, if anyone happens to know the distinction between Tahitian noni and Thai noni, I would appreciate the insight.
Thank you.
