There’s just one Chad and his sudden dash onto the field 🤣
The MLS match is such an inexplicable place...

Anyway, I have to give props to the guys running things, truly hats off to them, the playlist and everything was spot on, though I do have one small wish, that once everything wraps up, we still get all that cheering and singing just like we did right after the game ended🙂

So, from what I can gather, I’ve been slapped with a warning for trolling?
And honestly, I’m not even trying to hide it, nor am I sitting here complaining about the penalty itself...

In that other thread, I wasn't even being that aggressive, I just wanted to point out that someone attacking others by claiming they're still on their parents' payroll—while simultaneously doing the exact same thing themselves, according to what was said in that discussion—is a bit rich, if you ask me...

Then there's that constant aggressive tone toward everyone else, the twisting of words and all that nonsense, though I know I'm not the only one who's noticed it...

The real issue, though, is that certain people who are constantly lying, baiting people, and dragging the conversation way off track with talk about grocery carts or washing machines and stuff like that... they don't seem to get penalized at all.
Plus, there are those childish threats being thrown around right here too...

Yet, this same individual is out here posting my private information on the forum, and I haven't seen any serious consequences for that whatsoever...
Not that it matters much, I suppose, because we're clearly dealing with someone who lives to lie, so most people probably don't take them seriously anyway... they're only brave behind a keyboard while they're hiding behind a screen...
It shouldn't be such a struggle for the moderation team to just count up how many comments have been deleted; they could easily do that if they actually wanted to...😉

Well, I guess it was bound to happen eventually, since I ended up getting flagged myself🙂
I really should have seen this coming, considering I poked at certain
but whatever, the point is it just proves there are certain people who are untouchable here, while everyone else just gets their posts deleted without any real consequences

Here’s an example of a post that actually gets hit with a warning for trolling

whereas the next ones clearly aren't breaking a single rule:

And besides, this person has been caught multiple times saying things that completely contradict themselves in different threads, or calling others out for stuff they said elsewhere—all while acting like they're giving helpful advice, kind of like how nimbletinker10 operates, which also goes totally unpunished...

I get how it works, I really do, I'm just saying maybe you could introduce some kind of indicator or icon to show when someone is protected by the moderators, just to make things a little easier for the rest of us to navigate

p.s. I'm definitely not the only one noticing this pattern...

So I report, and I report again, only for the post to get deleted, and then the exact same thing pops up right back under a different thread or just goes completely off-topic...
By this point, the person in question should have earned enough points just to cover the cost of a single bag of ice for some cardboard coolers...

I might drop a few quotes here and there just to highlight the kind of communication style that most people on the forums find pretty grating (unless, of course, we decide to make it mutually acceptable)...

I’m honestly wondering just how much longer we’re supposed to

tolerate this kind of blatant disrespect and constant off-topic nonsense... I notice whenever I try to respond, my posts just vanish into thin air, yet his comments stay up perfectly fine while he keeps picking fights with everyone else on the board without seeing any actual moderation...
maybe just put some kind of warning label under his name or something, just so people actually know what they're getting into before they engage...

Yeah, I’m right there with you, seeing all those Mamić jokes scrawled over the building facades really rubs me the wrong way...

I actually prefer this newer version: Mamić, you're full of haters, and your daughters are just as bad...

It's kind of like those moving advertisements on the buses, always with the Mamić insults everywhere...👍

But honestly, what can you do? The deals were too good to pass up. Screw it—life’s short, and as long as those trips were dirt cheap, I'll take the headache.

There’s really no point in sugarcoating things 😬
I mean, these aren't those flights to some imaginary wasteland that just vanish overnight like they did with those Russian carriers 😉

The charter from Tunis back to New York City is still scheduled for Wednesday 😉

So there’s this guy running a Sega setup, driving some old Honda with tinted windows, but now he’s switched over to a black Toyota SUV, I think... it’s got those little LED lights tucked under the front grille, which honestly, if he ever decided to go with a custom wrap, would leave just enough room for it all to look right 😬...

copperharbor02 said:The guys over at AC/DC and a few others have proven that getting in is actually doable.

You don't always have to go banging your head against a brick wall using incognito modes or all those little tricks... at the end of the day, the result is what matters most, I suppose... 😉

Besides, the AC/DC crew isn't even on the official rosters, at least not as far as I can tell, so there really shouldn't be any reason they can't just walk right in through the front door...
As for everyone else who's already there, grinding away and giving it everything they've got... just keep pushing, keep working hard...

They get themselves ready every seven weeks or so... nobody can touch them 🤣

If Joe Biden is playing, we're moving on to the next round ☕

The Democratic National Committee already broke that first-round curse, or so I hear... they're really charging toward the title this year with all those new signings coming in

You can actually tip the snowplow driver 😉
since they follow a strict priority list, but if you strike up a little conversation and offer them some extra cash, they might just make sure your driveway gets cleared too...

like, just yesterday morning, that little plow truck rolled up to my neighbor's place and carved out a perfect path from his garage right out to the main road so he could finally get out, and yeah, I'm pretty sure he paid him under the table to handle that
well, you can always find the latest updates right there on their website 😉

tell my brother he hasn't got a clue

if there isn't a sign or any kind of markings on the road, you're legally allowed to drive

Nah, not quite... it was more like some high-ranking official in a suit triggered a state of emergency right in the heart of the city
they really should have just given everyone the day off so nobody would be stuck dealing with all that chaos...
Commuting to work by bike in Cycling ·
Man, today is just pure chaos... the whole city is basically at a standstill because of some absolute idiot out there...

I mean, I don't really know, I usually just cruise along at maybe 25 or 30 mph... I don't go out of my way to tail the streetcars too closely, though I do make sure I know exactly where they're pulling over so I can pass them...
The only light that seems to have a personal vendetta against me is that one intersection over by the industrial district near the highway

I definitely hear what you're saying about the pedestrians, but I've kind of found a workaround by just following right behind the transit buses so they clear the debris off the road for me all the way from the suburbs down to the downtown plaza😉

I honestly can't stand driving through the heavy commercial zones on the main boulevard, so I try to steer clear of those areas whenever possible
And besides, there’s just no point in driving all the way from the north side down toward the outskirts only to have to loop back around toward the business park again

So, I find myself cutting right down the middle of the railroad tracks pretty regularly—mostly because it’s just the shortest path from A to B for me—and honestly, I’ve run into plenty of other people doing the exact same thing, but so far, everything’s been perfectly fine...
It’s kind of the same story when I’m cruising down Broadway, which I do quite a bit, though maybe not quite every single day...
Commuting to work by bike in Cycling ·
maybe head down Broadway toward Brooklyn, then just keep following the tracks out toward the suburbs...
