It feels a little weird to me how people on this forum who only listen to rock, or specifically NBA or noise music, don't even know where to put themselves... I mean, they just list off albums with that exact same sound and stop there. Man, I love everything from funk and jazz to rock, blues, Samba Soul, mambo, house, Britpop... honestly, I can't even list it all.
Are you guys all just really narrow-minded when it comes to music, or have you seriously never heard anything else in your lives?
And hey, no offense intended... it’s just that the crowd listening to that kind of NBA music tends to be pretty aggressive. I'm just curious to see what you guys have to say about this.
And honestly, when it comes to Joe Black, it’s easily the worst role for an incredible actor like Brad Pitt.... I don't even get the movie... why did anyone even make it??? It’s just doing close-ups of Mr. Pitt.... basically just so girls can obsess over him and tattoo his eyes onto their skin... It's shit... not a real movie... Sorry quietorca89... but that's just how it is.
When the rain washes everything away... through all the days and nights... just because of you... I finally get what loving someone means, it’s enough to die happy, from nothing but love,
Honestly, I really dig them. They aren't boring at all, even if I have known about them for ages... besides, they were flying under the radar for the longest time anyway...
And I definitely didn't overhear someone talking trash about Mayales!!! 😠
In my opinion, Sean Connery is actually a pretty mediocre actor. He definitely gets all that attention from women because of his voice, but if you look at his actual work, he basically plays the exact same character every single time. It’s always the same emotions, the same vibe—every role feels like a carbon copy of the last one. To me, that just doesn't make someone a real actor. A true actor needs to be able to pull at your heartstrings, make you laugh, get your blood pumping, or absolutely terrify you...
I’m honestly so happy about this! He’s easy on the eyes, he’s got real talent, and he’s definitely a better actor than Sean Connery—who, let’s be honest, I just can't stand... total lightweight.🙂
Here’s a quick list of the songs I’ve been moping to lately... hm...:
Dead Can Dance - a bunch of tracks Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms Clapton - Tears in Heaven Jean-Michel Jarre - a few instrumentals Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way Pink Floyd - Goodbye Cruel World, Mother Pearl Jam - Black U2 - a few winter vibes
And yeah... that's about all I can think of right now.
Look, I know I'm being a bit of a hair-splitter here... so don't take it all to heart. Personally, I just can't get into their music. I've got a few of their tracks on my MP3 player and they're honestly a disaster—just a little too sappy for my taste. Sure, Rich Samora is probably a killer guitarist, but their whole vibe is just totally lame.
That's just my two cents. I'm not really into critics or haters, but man, they are just so cringey... what am I supposed to do about it? They're fine if you're in the mood for a good cry, I guess... 👋
I think I finally have to side with the Americans on this one! I first got into Pearl Jam when I was about 16, and honestly, ten years later, I’m still listening! They are just incredible musicians—so much creativity and genuine talent. The music is top-tier, especially because the lyrics actually mean something and feel real. Eddie Vedder, Jeff, Stone, and the rest of the crew are just perfect. 🙂
But Bon Jovi? Please. You'd be better off putting them in a hair salon rather than on a stage. To me, they're just a total cliché band for frustrated teenagers with broken hearts who lose their minds over some guy who looks more like a hairdresser than a rockstar...
Dracula starring Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves... I mean, every single intimate scene... the whole movie just vibrates with this intense, sexy energy🙂🙏
Earth, Wind & Fire is easily one of my absolute favorite bands, but I’m skipping this concert since my planning was a total mess. Honestly though, if you go, you're going to have a blast—their sound is just so upbeat, fast, funky, groovy, and, well, just pure vibes! I’m pretty sure even my mom is a fan of Earth, Wind & Fire. She’s 55, so I honestly don't get how anyone could not know who they are. Hello? Seriously, what are you even listening to? If you're strictly a country radio type of person, please skip this show, because you're probably going to be bored out of your mind...
