The Windows installation starts up fine, but once I hit that menu where you pick your partitions, it tells me there's no USB plugged in. It works perfectly fine for the initial boot, though.

I tried using USB yesterday twice, but it keeps telling me the device isn't recognized. I even swapped to different USB ports, but no luck—same exact thing.

I don't have a CD drive. I just picked up a new motherboard that uses SATA, but my old drive is outdated. Now I'm looking at having to shell out $43 for a new one, and honestly, my budget is tight right now. So, I wanted to see if there's any way to boot directly from a hard drive instead. I'm running Windows 7.

I've got three hard drives in my rig, so I was thinking about ditching macOS and installing it on one drive, then just booting from a different one.

Is this even possible?

Basically, my macOS is acting up. I've got macOS on a USB drive, but it just won't boot. Is there any way I can boot directly from the hard drive instead?

Samsung SSDs are the real deal. Their software support is top-notch, so they don't wear out nearly as fast as you'd think. And honestly, speed-wise? Whether Windows boots up in a minute and 50 seconds or just a flat two minutes, you won't even notice the difference during everyday use.

Is there seriously nobody else out there who’s skeptical about an Intel SSD with a 5-year warranty?

A few weeks back, I started a thread for our YouTube channels with one of my clones, but it totally flopped and ended up getting me a lifetime ban along with a 1,000-point penalty. Since there’s already a subforum for things like blogging platforms, why don't we have one specifically for our YouTube channels? I'd really love to see that get added here.

A lot of R9 280(X) cards struggle with VRM cooling, so you'll end up having to undervolt them. Just a heads-up: try to steer clear of any models where the voltage is locked.

Personally, I’d hunt for a GTX 960 Gainward Phantom or just hold out for a rebranded R9 370 x, which is basically supposed to be an R9 280 or R9 290. My money is on it being a 280, though.

I’ve used a Gainward card before, and honestly, everyone says great things about them. Plus, my brother has an XFX card that absolutely shreds. He's been running it for four years now and it's still going strong.
