Nathan Perez5 said:😁...honestly, I was actually thinking about pulling you into my own dreams today, but then I realized that little duckling over there started analyzing me and poking at me, and since I'm a pretty jumpy person, I think I'll just let the whole thing pass me by without making a scene...😬

Are you talking about me and the "delicate and prim" version of myself? (I think I described myself that way once during that visionary encounter outside the local bakery—I really need to find that specific post). Or are we talking about the roundabouts 😬 (basically your attempt at leading us down a dark alleyway)
?

Actually, I'm only just noticing how "serious" he is; I didn't see him in the thread tonight until he suddenly jumped in with an "EEK!"

By the way, it just clicked where Ronald Rogers27 😲"comes from"... absolute madness and pure catharsis.

...Man, I am totally addicted to this forum. I logged in on the big monitor at work, so everyone can see me and they're all waiting for me to finish my post, though they don't understand a word of it (they say it's like reading French, LOL). Anyway, we're piling onto the bus now to head out ice skating for the day—hopefully I make it back in one piece. 👋

Good grief, Nathan Perez5, was that all just part of that dream of yours? You know, the one with the blue train car under that bright, sunny sky... is that why you were grinning like an idiot all day after? Come on, tell us, what else did you see in that dream?

slymaker9 said:My prescriptions are actually quite mild. You would probably be relieved to hear that some certain ones were slated for reduction or even discontinuation because they carry an addiction risk. He is a good doctor; he genuinely ensures people don't overdo it with pills. It isn't as if he prescribes things for no reason.
It is obvious you could manage without the pills right this second—😁 you already anticipated this—you are just stalling a bit to give yourself more time to process everything.
🙂

This process needs to be handled carefully and gradually so brain chemistry can adapt.
I once decided on my own to stop taking my Ad, and since I felt fine at the time, I didn't follow the prescription. About ten days later, I was hit out of nowhere by a sudden, intense craving that wasn't triggered by anything external.
It should be done under supervision—tapering off slowly—so that when you finally stop, you don't even feel it.
I suspect this topic will eventually move to the off-topic section under the heading Stella's corner.🤣

Naturally, in my usual style, I have included an appropriate little song.

Oh, come on... we’ve all gotten way too deep into the philosophy of this topic; it’s actually kind of amazing
at least in my book 🙄

Naturally, because that's just how I roll, I have a little poem to go along with it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vnany...eature=related😍

I mean, it's all about the Ark... as the song goes 🙄

Do you really think I'm some coward hiding behind a defensive wall, trying to lure in decent men with incense?

You don't have to be a coward.. you just need to fix that crooked angle
See, there you go again, feeling the need to defend that idiot at the office, when without him, everything would still be out of alignment

Anyway, at least now we know you guys have enough bourbon at the office,
just enough to move humanity forward,
which remains the only real secret to getting a good night's sleep,
and so on, and so forth (go ahead, you finish it...)

As for the whole spiritual vibe, it feels like those tiny, stunted works by Andy Warhol... Not massive, just miniature versions (even though Warhol definitely wasn't a miniaturist). I imagine Australia is even more tragic. A whole continent built on the genes of hardened convicts and streetwalkers from the streets of England, deported there back in the 23rd century... Chills! 😬

What kind of person am I picturing as an Australian? Well... I have nothing but high praise for Americans... What else could I think after that first paragraph about Australians? 👎

Actually, it was the opposite. After the cookies, I crashed hard. 😍

I don't get it... What does a baby have to do with being 7cm or 77cm? 😲 Or maybe it's related to depression? 😕

Or are you implying I'm playing on your ex's favorite game? I'm just joking around here, but people take my jokes way too seriously. 😉

Ronald Rogers27

You're just pulling my leg again, aren't you?

Quentin Tarantino
It was actually the exact opposite. After that cookie, I just hit a massive food coma. 😍
Oh man, I completely blanked on what actually helps me get a good night's sleep.

Quentin Tarantino
I didn't quite follow that... What does a kid have to do with anything being 7cm or 77cm? 😲 Or maybe it’s linked to depression? 😕
Honestly, there’s just nothing there. I was actually going to mention that you only need a tiny, millimeter-thin margin for that, but I didn't want to come across as being too pushy about it.

Honestly, I don't know what you're thinking, but that logic seems pretty outdated—even the old-school folks from generations ago wouldn't have bought into that. You can't seriously claim a woman is at her most peaceful just because she's been "pumped up."

And honestly, we’ve all picked up a thing or two around here thanks to that controversial guy of yours. 👍

With depression, my nonsense, and this constant state of not knowing what I want.
He had this theory about therapy through procreation.🤣
Masturbation just didn't cut it.😁

He actually tried to fix one issue by creating an entirely new one...

Ronald Rogers27 said:Come on, I'm just kidding. You can see briskraven28 totally gets what I'm saying. And you? You're acting like a total teenager with a crush. 😍

Even if we could actually get caught up in that magical loop together, you're over 12,000 miles away from me... And honestly, I have zero desire to travel or move to Australia. That would be the last thing my wild life needs right now. 😬

My goals are way more low-key. I want to get into the EU, but between the paperwork headaches and the fact that my German isn't great, it’s been an uphill battle. I'll figure something out eventually...

To be real with you, I'm not some kind of therapist, for crying out loud... I'm not a hero or anything, but when it comes to the progress of Humanity... 😂

briskraven28, you really cracked me up. Thanks for that. 👍

Ronald Rogers27

Was that supposed to be a compliment?
I honestly don't know why you feel the need to get under my skin like this. 😢
It feels like you just have a grudge against Americans living abroad.

Even if you and I could find ourselves in that endless loop together, you're 7,000 miles away from me... And I have zero desire to travel, let alone move to Australia. That would be the last thing I'd want in my already chaotic life.

Oh, a "chaotic" life, is it? 🙄
I’m not much for packing up my whole life and moving either... unless it’s for something truly incredible—then sure, I’m all about making big changes. Otherwise, I’m pretty set in my ways. You're just picking at me for no reason and stirring things up.

My goals are much more modest. I want to get into the EU, but because of certain paperwork issues and the fact that I don't know German, it hasn't been easy. I'll figure something out eventually...

Sir, being an outsider isn't even a hassle; the EU is tiny.
Think about it: you could grab a bike tonight, ride through Mexico, and be back in America or Canada before midnight. Even heading over to St. Stephen wouldn't be bad... there's plenty of room to roam. Enough to keep you spinning in circles for the next three lifetimes.

To be honest, I'm not exactly therapy... I'm not exactly riding a white horse for the progress of Humanity, either.

I don't really follow what you're talking about or why you're bothering yourself with all this in such a short life, but it's nice to see you becoming "honest."

You even laughed.
And you're actually grateful for it.
You seem to be totally pain-free. 👍

It’s much better to stay within that sweet spot without relying on tablets. You agree, Lisa Morales4? Or maybe not?! 😉

Ronald Rogers27

I feel like we might have actually hung out somewhere once, you and I. 🙄

To me, it seems like you're just desperate for someone to treat you with some real old-school hospitality, and you're long overdue for someone to frankly tell you exactly what they think about your... well, let's just say you won't convince me to be vulgar here, even in my thoughts. 🙂 🙂

I wouldn't join that little circle of yours, no way. 😲

By the way, I had no idea briskraven28 was some kind of sex therapist... when did we start discussing that? 🤔

P.S.
Just so there's no confusion, nothing Ronald Rogers27 said actually bothered me. I see his behavior as part of the forum's dynamic—it's more entertaining than anything else. What actually got to me was what I said myself; it hit a nerve regarding Vertigo m, simply because it touched on a very sensitive subject for me.

I know... Ronald Rogers27 was just picking a fight with me, and that quote was actually your reply, briskraven28; that's my point, you didn't quote me (😢). Honestly, this obsession with "success"—that "raw nerve" of yours, that sensitive need for validation—it feels more like being spoiled, if you ask me (but hey, Vertigo knows you best).
Man, society, progress, and spirituality in Spirituality ·
slymaker9 said:I know you mean well, and I truly believe your intentions are good, but sometimes the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
That said, I have to admit that when I was responding to Vertigo regarding whether a certain success would help me, I actually broke down in tears.
This is just who I am, and I don't see any reason to justify my nature to people who, thank God, possess healthy and resilient nervous systems. My situation isn't even that extreme; seeing the absolute chaos and the walking dead in hospital waiting rooms puts things in perspective. I am not looking for hospitalization, nor will I do anything to cause myself harm.
I won't lose my mind in the sense of experiencing psychosis. However, it isn't simple, even with medication. It is a completely different experience when you are genuinely okay versus when you are relying on medicine.
I haven't done anything wrong; this is simply how my nervous system functions. It has always been this way.
Just as someone with poor vision needs glasses, someone else might have a more sensitive nervous system.
I don't understand why people fail to see the parallel. You wouldn't tell a blind person to just take off their glasses and "try harder" to see; no matter how much willpower they exert, their vision remains blurred.
Compared to a diabetic or someone with severe visual impairment, I actually have an advantage because I have periods where I feel fine and don't require medication. For me, this condition acts more like seasonal allergies.
I have only fainted once, 😛 which was due to a sort of neurological circuit breaker. When the stress becomes too much, the body essentially pulls a fuse to protect itself. Consciousness simply cannot handle the load, and the person collapses. It is a 100% defensive mechanism.

As for my attempts at exposure therapy and similar methods—we aren't living in some hyper-sensitive bubble where everyone runs to a therapist the second they feel a bit down. To put it briefly, without getting into the weeds, those methods didn't work; they were actually disastrous.
Some people claim that the pain of a depressed person can be compared to the physical pain of a quadriplegic. I won't claim that is my specific experience, but what I deal with is a legitimate illness just like any other. I refuse to apologize for it, nor am I ashamed to speak about it. If anyone wants to stigmatize me, let them. If I had high blood pressure, I would simply say, "I take medication for my blood pressure." I don't have high blood pressure, I have a low tolerance for stress, and when I need pills, I will take them. Once I don't need them anymore, I'll stop. I certainly won't behave like a primitive by just lying in bed and giving up, especially since some people struggle to grasp that I need external serotonin to function, go to work, and live my life.

Again, I know your intentions aren't malicious, but unfortunately, those methods simply do not work for me.

I just finished reading Segismund. Life is a dream. From Pedar Calderon of Barca When Love

If love doesn't drive you a little bit crazy, then it isn't really love at all..

I was actually thinking of you, honestly, because I spent the whole night crying too—from around 9 p.m. all the way until who knows when.
I just feel so much lighter now—it's such a relief. I’m finally at peace, and honestly, it feels like a weight has been lifted for years.
So, I’m a Rat in the Chinese zodiac, and honestly, I don't need anything else. I just keep on surviving with this relentless, stubborn grit. I guess when you're born a bit of a menace like that—someone who could watch the whole world sink and still just paddle along on the surface, moving right along—you learn how to handle whatever comes your way.
Some people might call me conceited, but honestly? It’s just my survival instinct kicking in. That's just how I roll.
All I really needed was some headphones in my ears and a chance to just sing, cry, and play some guitar. I also ended up glancing at a certain rat for just a split second—just enough to toss a few words his way like, "Are you still on this planet?" Honestly, I wasn't even looking for an answer; I just needed that tiny bit of validation knowing there’s someone out there who recognizes you exist. That was enough for me. It wasn't until the next morning, right when I arrived at work, that I finally checked my messages and saw that he had replied with that divine, "Yeah, I'm here..."

I don't know, I've basically been training myself since I was a kid to rely primarily on my heavenly parents. A hundred versions of _nobodyja_ couldn't shake me; they can act out all they want, but I’d much rather find the compliments in everything people say than deal with any kind of nonsense. 🙂
I actually took his part of the dialogue as his way of practicing being ruthless—or, let's be honest, just training himself to be strict, LOL. His condescending jabs were honestly more entertaining than anything else; they ended up revealing so much about him, and quite a bit about myself too.

So, let's get back to the Prince. Prince Segismund was born with a certain predisposition toward darkness, which led his father to essentially handicap him from birth just to prevent him from tearing the kingdom apart. And honestly, he lived up to those fears; he proved to be a total piece of work and a complete pessimist. Even after his father gave him a second chance, he wasted it, forcing his old man to throw him back into chains. But everything shifts when the rebels set him free. In that moment, he finds himself through God, the ultimate source of all that is good. He undergoes this incredible transformation fueled by the power of love, turning into an exemplary man, and eventually marries his princess, slymaker9 (yes, really, her!). It’s a powerful reminder that nobody is born stuck being one way; in God, anything is possible.

Why did I start quoting people like this?
I just wanted to tell you that you’re actually much stronger than you give yourself credit for. If you were to wish for something like a "happy pill" or a silver platter served with instant success, any effect would be nothing more than a temporary fix. Honestly, if something helps you get through the moment—just like taking Tylenol when you've got a fever—then go ahead and take it.

But when you look at the big picture, in the long run, nothing really carries you through quite like divine providence.

I’m gifting you these verses by Da'D Crawford-Greathouse and David Mullena: Life is a dream.

oh yeah, one more thing... my little secret...
neither success nor any kind of praise helps me when I'm feeling down—only H2O works
literally: a shower
water washes everything away
just like I mentioned in my other post on this topic: every new shot starts from zero! using a tennis analogy, I might play brilliantly in the first game (success), but that doesn't help me at all in the second! in the second game, I know I have to start over from scratch! every single hit feels like it's my very first!
you can't live off past glories! neither on old successes nor on empty boasts! that's just being spoiled!!
you always have to prove yourself all over again!!

keep smiling 👍

and, don't forget to leave your enemies to God 👍

always fight them in one and only way— with the truth!
and do that with the smile of a winner on your face 🙏
(I didn't say—be a cynic)

if you have a choice—distance yourself from the negative people
walk right past them like you're passing a quiet cemetery in rural Kentucky
W.A.L.K. past them, and do it with a smile on your face—I'm not saying you should freeze up or hold back
and enjoy the memory of those who send you positive vibes

if it's helped me for decades, it'll help you too 🙂

George W. Bush doesn't build community; if anything, he breaks it down.

Communication? We actually shape our own reality through dialogue.

Shared interests? The sisters serving Mother Teresa are bound by a purpose that money simply can't buy, no matter how many banks you look into.

The truth? It might sting or cause physical pain, but that’s just the body—the same body that spent half my life racing ahead of me and is now trying in slow motion to keep pace.
That’s why I look toward a truth that doesn't wound or scar the soul, but instead sets us free. 🙂

In the US, there are various non-profits dedicated to inclusion and promoting social integration, aiming to help people with disabilities break out of isolation and participate more fully in society.
As for those without any disabilities, the prevailing principle is much more blunt: "it's a dog-eat-dog world—sink or swim."

I'm happy for the folks mentioned above, but it sounds like the "healthy" ones have to wait until they become disabled just to be deemed worthy of inclusivity treatment...

That feels like genuine discrimination against the able-bodied.

It’s honestly no wonder that _nobody_ can tell the difference between a woman who is (and would actually be worth knowing) capable of tough dignified self-sufficiency, versus one who is just overwhelmingly "full of herself."

I just have to know—how on earth did that Man defend himself like that? 🙄
No, I still think they were just being dramatic. They managed to package everything so perfectly that you actually fell for it. All they really wanted was to get you to make those changes... which clearly didn't happen, since things ended up getting "extremely aggressive."

I’ve been with plenty of women in my short time on this earth. Every single one was different. My last girlfriend, though? She was on a whole other level of aggression and dominance. It’s not like I haven't dealt with that type before—it was a long time ago. This latest one felt straight out of an episode of Sex and the City.

Life just grinds everything down. It’s going to grind her down too, the last one left. She’ll end up as nothing more than a bloody stain on the pavement... just like how that Sex & the City episode got absolutely trashed. Man, they totally ruined it. And God, she was so full of herself—I can't even begin to describe that level of ego.

Déjà vu. There’s just no helping it. 😬

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but today was one of those days. Just one of those long ones where everything feels heavy. Honestly, I’m just glad to be home. kaže:
Look, some people—doesn't matter if they're men or women—just set their standards sky-high from the jump. Honestly? I think that's the right move. If you end up settling for only half of what you actually wanted, you’re still better off than if you had started with bottom-of-the-barrel expectations. Just imagine if you only got half of a total disaster. No thanks.

I have incredibly high standards. So far, not a single woman has actually met them. And look, it’s not like I haven't tried... I’ve spent time looking inward and realizing my own flaws. I get it. I’m far from perfect. But I do things my way, and there’s something unique about that. I need someone who can actually wrap their head around who I am, but women like that just don't seem to exist. You all think you know everything about yourselves—like having a meltdown because of a chipped nail or something equally trivial. Cool. If that's how it is, then it is what it is. 😬

You're just making wild assumptions because you don't have any actual facts to back them up. Fine, whatever. You win. Go ahead, take the dogs for a walk in the park or something. Since most guys tend to have such narrow perspectives anyway. 😍

Every woman I’ve ever dated thought they were 1000% (10x) more capable than they actually were. Honestly? They were a joke. Responsibility? Please. They couldn't even wipe their own noses properly, let alone handle anything serious... 😍 😍

I have zero issues with women buying my drinks, dinner, or treating me. Only one woman in my life ever actually did that. She was capable of surviving on her own and taking care of herself. She was the only one I truly wanted to marry. It's obvious why. Unlike other women who just offered empty words, lies, and cheating, she wasn't just some porn star in bed and nothing else. That's what most others based their "other qualities" on... 🤣

Is that really how you win a man over? Is that the most important thing?! 👎

Did you walk the dogs yet???

Yeah, that one woman... she struggled with that. I didn't know how to explain what I really felt. But yeah, I wanted it to be at least 75:25, giving her room for her own needs. My position in Life allowed me to do that.

I never insisted on being dominant. I just wanted equality. She understood that.

There were much nastier problems... You know how it is. 😉

Ronald Rogers27

I'm not sure how many people here actually grasp how what's written above fits perfectly into our topic—the essence of a person, their spirituality, their role in society, the struggle to establish any real dialogue, and the sheer lack of progress that keeps turning us all into savages.

Do you want some actual, solid arguments for why social inclusion needs to be baked into an economy that’s actually growing? 🙄

If society actually wanted to address the issue of preventing people from being dehumanized, they'd need to take a much more proactive approach. I feel like a total stranger here. Look, we really need to be pushing for genuine social integration and cohesion. The best way to actually achieve that is by focusing on the development of a person's spiritual growth. It’s about meaningful engagement, not just surface-level interaction. 😵The goal isn't just about folding people into society—it’s about weaving them into every layer of our community in a way that actually honors who they are. We shouldn't be aiming for mere integration; we should be celebrating individuality and uniqueness as a fundamental strength. This means rolling out real strategies, like fostering genuine participatory dialogue or embracing a deep kind of ecumenism—essentially a religious pluralism that shines a light on various spiritual traditions rather than smoothing them over.

We’re living in such an illuminating era of creativity right now—a time where the divine truly meets the human within the embrace of an inclusive society.

It’s honestly pointless to even attempt a discussion about this in a language that doesn't even have a word for the concept.

It’s just starting to dawn here, and it’s a chilly 35 degrees. I finally finished all the laundry, so once I hang everything up, I’m heading out to the park with my little fur babies. LOL, it definitely keeps me active. 👍
I’ll probably find myself reflecting on John Doe and his experiences, especially that deep-seated desire he has to just pull away from everything.

I had a pretty rough experience recently. Honestly, some women can be so incredibly exclusive, extroverted, and just straight-up aggressive. It was intense. 😬

I can multitask, sure, but if you aren't a total pro, things can get messy fast. It’s way too easy to lose track of everything. Just look at what **Bob** said as an example.

Women's intuition is something else. It’s powerful enough to build an entire life on—I'm talking buying houses, driving nice cars, crushing it in business, and creating a perfect home. Honestly, what can I even say? It's like those old stories about Maya and Paul. 😍

So, I guess they were the ones who ended up tearing you down. 😬 That is just awful. Truly terrible.
I honestly can't even wrap my head around how that guy managed to defend himself like that. I just need to know what his secret was. 🙄
No, I still think they were just being dramatic. It sounds like they all managed to sell you on that idea by packaging it so perfectly, when really, all they wanted was to get you to agree to those alterations... which clearly didn't happen, since they ended up being "extremely aggressive" in the end.

Some people—regardless of whether they're men or women—just set incredibly high standards from the jump. Honestly, I think that’s actually a good thing. If you end up getting only half of what you initially aimed for, you're still better off than if you had started with bottom-of-the-barrel expectations. Just imagine how miserable things would be if you only walked away with half of something that was already a total disaster.

Yeah, inclusivity... when we women decide to "carefully put things together," we tend to encompass the entire world. We have this way of taking everything—both the visible and the invisible—into account, which often ends up pushing you men to broaden your own horizons.

That female intuition is something else—it’s powerful enough to build an entire empire, from buying a house and a car to launching a successful business or creating a perfect home life. Honestly, what can I even say? It’s like watching Maya and Paul work their magic. 😍

Kudos to you. It’s clear you’re an incredibly responsible man with a deep sense of duty as the sole "provider" and caretaker here. I honestly don't know whether to say Mrs. Flintstone—your Wilma—is lucky to have you, or if I should be worried for her, since it feels like you're leaving her out of that responsibility entirely. In today's world, isn't it supposed to be a 50/50 partnership? A true empire is built when Maya and Paul tackle everything together.
My biggest life lesson came from realizing that Paul honestly thought he was the center of the universe.

The real question is whether our early innovators overreached—perhaps getting carried away in good faith—and ended up messing things up for everyone. 😬

Here is what my friend Tom Hanks thinks about it.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go use my steamer. Honestly, I don't know how I managed without it. 😂

LOL don't forget to top it off with some cream, yum! 👍
