Are you talking about this? If you just head over to Member List and click on "Posts"—that’s the very first option at the top of the third column—you should find it. Though, honestly, given how glitchy the post counter can be sometimes, there's a chance the current ranking isn't even accurate.
The whole Reddit operation is owned by Monitor Plus LLC, which is most famous for running CNN. When people start talking about "the boss," they’re usually referring to an unnamed guy who actually launched Reddit, CNN, and Medium. As for the moderators, they're just regular users with a bit of extra authority—they don't get paid, obviously. They basically just carve out chunks of their own free time to keep the place from getting cluttered with junk posts. You've got the standard mods, then you have supermods above them, and finally the admins at the very top. If you ever disagree with a decision a moderator makes, you can file an appeal in the relevant subforum. There isn't really a formal term limit for mods, either. They stay in their positions until they eventually burn out or, in some rare cases, get demoted back to being regular users. New moderators are picked internally whenever the need arises. There’s actually a private subforum just for the mods, and honestly, quite a few of them even hang out in person. When you say "logo," I'm assuming you mean a user account. There aren't any real restrictions on signing up; you'll see plenty of accounts sitting there with zero posts or people who haven't logged on in years. As far as I know, accounts aren't ever deleted.
When you're setting up a new account, there's actually an option to drop someone else's name in as a referral—basically just letting the site know who sent you to Reddit in the first place.
What link? This is the second time I've had to come looking for you—just drop your attempt at the signature right here so we can actually spot where things are going sideways. How am I supposed to figure out what's broken if I don't even know what you're trying to build in the first place? 🤷
This is the link to the Tickerfactory homepage, which also doubles as the image itself. If you’d actually taken a look at how this thread started, you would’ve realized that you can't just go around uploading images to your signature.
I honestly don't know how you expect anyone to help you when you haven't even pasted your signature here... What are we supposed to do—tell you that you have way too many lines? 🤷
Honestly, I’d steer clear of Imgur—it can be a bit much. Personally, I find Photobucket way more straightforward since it gives you the exact format you need for a message board post right away, without all those annoying relinks getting in the way.
First, you’ve got to upload your photo to an image hosting site—something like Imgur. Once that's done, just wrap the direct link between those (image) tags, or if you're feeling lazy, just hit the "Insert Image" button on the forum interface.
It’s not working because you're linking to the web page instead of the actual image file itself. The real URL is sitting right there on the right side under "Direct link"—it looks like this: http://img84.imgur.com/img84/6519/bbordot2.png
If you had actually clicked "Full-Size image" on the right side of that link, you would've ended up with a usable one: http://austintownhall.com/wp-content...3/news9a_1.jpg
Frank Thomas said:Look, I already told you, I tried doing it the normal way. I click the Image icon, paste the link to the picture, and... nothing. Zilch. What's the deal? If you actually want to help me out, maybe walk me through the steps first, since you keep insisting "it's easy."
The instructions have been posted a million times all over this forum. Most likely, you're just linking to a webpage or some Google search result instead of the actual image file itself. Give it another shot right here in this thread; if it still fails, then we can actually walk you through it.
There are already a ton of threads covering this—if you just take a second to glance at the first page of this subforum... is it really that much to ask to look around before hitting 'post'?
The post counter is acting a bit haywire right now—it’ll probably stay glitchy for a while until the system runs its next check, but then things should settle back down to normal.
Just push through it. I don't see a link here. You forgot to include it. Just let me know if anything changes.
If they’re still giving you a hard time, just click here. Right here. Well, it looks like we’re finally getting somewhere. default thread cut off show all threads
Well, you linked to the entire webpage instead of just the image itself... ends in .php, which—let's be honest—is definitely not an image file format. If you had just clicked on one of the photos on that page, you would have grabbed the actual direct link. For instance, the first picture on that site is , which, once you wrap it in brackets, looks like this:
