Most of you guys are dropping website links inside the
(image) tags instead of actually linking to the image itself!
A direct link to an image usually looks something like
www.domain.com/filename.jpg—you know, typically ending in .jpg, .png, .gif, or one of those other standard formats. What you posted here is just a link to a Google search result, not the actual picture. 😉 Since you're already using Google to hunt things down, try this: once you click a search result, look for that "View Image" option on the right side. If you select that, the address bar at the top will finally show you the actual image URL.
Another way to do it—if you stumble upon a cool photo somewhere—is to just right-click on it. Depending on which browser you're using, you should see an option for "Copy Image Location" or something similar. Grab that, then toss it between the
(image) tags, or just use the button.
