Posts that strayed off-topic or violated the PDF rule have been removed. As far as Politics goes, this conversation ends here. It’s not censorship; it’s just moderating to ensure we stay within the scope of the original post.

Threads started with inaccurate premises get closed and moved. That happened here too, so it won't be reopened.

Don't overcomplicate things or take advantage of everyone's good intentions here. This thread exists so people can share their views without constantly attacking the moderators. Your specific points are valid and will stay put, but as for everything else, the moderation stands and I have nothing more to add.

On another note, the report button isn't just there for decoration. If you aren't using it, this thread isn't a substitute for the actual tool.

Regarding the political moderation, we might need to lock this topic down.

Besides, you aren't the one to call others out for trolling, nor are you the moderator here. If you don't like a post, just report it via the icon and move on. I emphasize *move on*, because we moderate according to the article 5 rule pdf regarding politics.

Responding to an insult with another insult. Provoking an argument (trolling) or responding to a provocation with more provocation. Otherwise, all parties involved in such exchanges will be sanctioned, regardless of who started it.

Just a final note: we certainly won't be disclosing how many people have been banned in this thread, how many posts were deleted, or any other moderator activity.

Charles Fox10, you can certainly quote snippets, but it needs to be obvious at first glance that you're only quoting part of a message. Use ellipses before and after the quote to make it clear. The way you've been doing it is clumsy and potentially misleading, so please be more careful moving forward.

Mostaja has practically dedicated his entire history of 1,518 posts to threads regarding the bridge—both this current one and the previous one. I haven't looked further back, so it’s hard to say if anyone can actually accuse him of stalking.
