It’s more or less that simple. Public figures we pay to serve us have to endure a bit more scrutiny than the rest of us, but posts designed solely to insult—where the context is nothing but malice—just don't belong here.
This isn't the right venue for this kind of debate. We'll review the topic and moderate as needed. Please bear with us in the meantime. Thanks. This thread can be locked.

Once they decided to end the seasonal shifts, they basically left it up to individual member states to pick their permanent setting—either Standard Time or Daylight Saving Time. (Which seems pretty idiotic to me because, theoretically, we could end up an hour apart from our neighbors just because everyone picks something different)
You haven't really added anything new here. You could have just posted this in the main thread; this isn't a PDF for discussions.
The poll is public. I simplified the question at the request of others, and since the thread title has been updated, feel free to lock this.
Good grief, questions? Of course we got them. At the last meeting, the EU Commissioner drafted a directive and sent it straight to us as a PDF. Pure politics.
It’s this stuff right here: https://ec.europa.eu/commission/comm...s/2014-2019_hr
A directive... honestly, you probably haven't even read the topic yet, but you're already asking for something new. It doesn't work that way—you can't just issue an EU Commissioner's decision and expect the mod team to make it happen. Politics.
In which sub-forum should I drop a poll about Daylight Saving Time?
Look, choosing how we handle Daylight Saving Time affects every single person in this community. We're talking about a decision with consequences that'll hit us for at least the next 50 years, if not longer. To me, that makes this a massive political issue.
Hey moderators, where am I supposed to put a poll like this?
We have a thread for it, and there's a poll right there. Just use it.
You personally derailed at least seven different discussions regarding domestic violence. We didn't just ignore you; we gave you plenty of warnings and chances to course-correct. It’s on you that we had to shut those topics down entirely.
Here are a few examples: Radical feminism ruling the European Union, Have men been stripped of their rights?, Gender-based violence and discrimination, Female quotas on election ballots—"positive" discrimination, Is our society misandrist? (Open sessions from 8-12 and 17-22)...........
And to answer your question from the PDF thread: Don't expect any politicians to step in if you continue behaving exactly as you have in every other similar discussion, including this one.
It isn't that the other user is spreading half-truths or "alternative facts." On the contrary, given how strictly this topic is moderated, they're being quite precise, and they'll continue to be. Since you aren't complaining about the warning you received from the moderator, it seems you opened this thread specifically to nitpick—and that won't fly here.
Regarding that card you were complaining about on Reddit, my colleague already explained the reasoning to you. I have nothing more to add, and they aren't being rescinded.
Besides, there's no need to play the hero and defend her. She can hold her own just fine when it counts.

According to the prestigious Times' rankings of global universities, the University of Split has once again outpaced the University of Chicago for the second year running—by at least 200 spots. Just like last year, the University of Split landed in the 501–600 range, while the University of Chicago fell into the bottom tier, where the bracket spans from 801 to 1000.
It’s a bit unkind to leave out the rest of that post, isn't it?
.........That’s exactly my grievance with you all. I won't be engaging anymore; frankly, you don't even deserve the effort of me generating such trivial content...
If you're actually aware of it, the only thing you can do is try to ruin my dinner, much like Hans Holcijus voj Seselja.
