Elizabeth Ross48, thanks a ton!!

So, potassium—bananas and tomatoes, right? I'll definitely try to get those levels up.

I figured something was off with that INR reading too—when I saw the standard range is usually around 1, but their report showed that other range...

Anyway, thanks for the reply.😉
Hey everyone,

Just had my bloodwork done—checking in because I'm on the pill—and most things look fine, except
my INR is sitting at 1.02, while the lab's reference range says it should be between 2 and 3.5.
My ALP is at 40, but they want it at 50 or higher.
And then there's this potassium level that needs to be at least 3.90, but I'm stuck at 3.60...

I honestly panicked over that INR reading for a second because the gap felt huge. Then I started digging online and found out a "normal" INR is usually between 0.9 and 1.2, so now I'm just confused—why the hell are these other reference values listed?🤷

Anyone have any insight on this?

Death from bulimia-anorexia in Health ·
You don't just drop dead from bulimia-anorexia overnight—it’s more about the slow-motion wreckage it leaves behind. It tears up your stomach and starts messing with other organs too... though you usually have to be battling it for years before things get that critical.

I once read about this woman who had been struggling with bulimia-anorexia for ages. On the outside, she looked perfectly healthy—not a single clue. Then one day, she just collapsed, and it wasn't until the autopsy that they realized the sheer amount of damage she'd done to her body. I can't remember exactly which organ finally gave out... I forget the details.

Doesn't chlamydia also cause bleeding during sex? (Not that it always does)

The Closet isn't exactly my favorite, but I guess it's worth a look if you have the time...
As for those other two you mentioned—what's the verdict? And how are they being titled here in the States?

Brilliant movie. I didn't catch it yesterday—I've actually seen it already... but man, it's good. That "idiot" guy is actually pretty likable, just incredibly clumsy 😛
I was on Loestrin for a bit—had those mid-cycle spotting issues a few months straight—so I decided to take a break, and everything finally leveled out 🙂 honestly, just ask your doctor, but if this keeps happening, taking a two or three-month breather might be the move 😘

Alright, great—you're handling it. That’s really all that matters.🙂
Quick gynecological question in Health ·
After being on low-dose birth control for years, you can run into breakthrough bleeding—basically, the uterine lining gets thinner and more prone to spotting. I think that's the gist of how I explained it before. Brands like Yaz or Loestrin act similarly... definitely check in with your doctor about it. Usually, they suggest taking a 2-3 month break. That’s actually where I am right now, since it happened to me a few times.
If you aren't even on the pill, this kind of bleeding can happen during ovulation.
It'll all work out fine. 😘

Benjamin Ramos95 said:Man, you aren't even eating much. I’m 27, 6'1", and 230 lbs, and my lunch is just whatever I grab when I get home from work—usually less than what my sister eats, and she’s only 110 lbs and practically lives in bed. Dinner is basically two slices of bread and some deli meat around 9 PM, and that’s it. My shift is 7 to 3, though sometimes I stay late, and honestly, I don't even have the damn time to hit the cafeteria, let alone go somewhere else. So what am I supposed to do? No time to exercise—sometimes I have chores waiting at home—and at work, I’m just sitting there staring at a monitor all day. My only movement is 1.2 miles walking to the bus stop and back. When I worked for that smaller firm as a sales rep, it was a literal 8-to-6 grind in a company car; my nerves were shot, and I was living on nothing but a couple of walnuts a day. I wasn't even eating, yet the weight kept climbing. When am I supposed to move when I'm working five or six days a week? Answer: never...

You aren't actually eating a ton, but if you want to start working out, you're going to have to make the time. I used to tell myself the same thing—that I didn't have the time or the energy—but now I'm hitting the gym 4 or 5 times a week. I work the same hours, finishing around 4, and yeah, I'm exhausted and completely over it.
As for your sister, you can only be jealous. It's like how I'm jealous of my niece, who can eat a loaf of bread for dinner and still stay thin as a rail—some people are just built that way. Don't waste your brainpower worrying about it.

hey neonbear4,
I know it’s tough. Honestly, I’m just trying to drop a few pounds myself—I hit the gym pretty regularly and eat decent meals (similar to how you do), but the scale just isn't moving fast enough.
I think people are right when they tell you to clean up your diet. You really have to let your body adjust to those habits so you can actually sustain them—otherwise, you'll just end up gaining it all back. Plus, healthy food doesn't have to taste like cardboard. If your mom has the time and energy to cook, take advantage of that; having a solid, home-cooked meal ready to go makes everything easier.
As for working out—if you're feeling self-conscious about crowded gyms or finding it hard to keep up with the intense crowds, try power walking. Just aim for at least an hour a day. It’s effective and doesn't feel like such a chore. Give it a shot...
Good luck with everything, keep me posted on how it goes.🙂
R.E.M. in Washington, D.C.!? in Music ·
Man, there was all this endless chatter about who was actually showing up, and then—nothing. Either it’s a last-minute cancellation or just total chaos... honestly, after all the noise, I doubt anyone would even bother coming here anymore.🙄
I really hope I'm being too pessimistic.
If they actually confirm, I'm definitely hitting up R. E. M.—maybe in Ljubljana or wherever else they land. I just hope tickets don't hit that ridiculous $400+ mark... I don't know if I'd drop that kind of cash. Something around $200$83 would be fine—hopefully, that's not me being way too optimistic...
