Man, when I was younger, the pain was just unreal... I mean, I was basically ending up in the ER getting shots of analgesics just to cope... and, uh, yeah, my cycles were absolutely trashed. They’d be late by like three months at a time, and then they’d just come crashing through like crazy, if you know what I mean
Then I spent maybe ten years or so on birth control—I was on five different types, actually—and once I stopped, the pain came crawling back, though maybe not quite as intensely as before...
Now the pain is back again, but, well, I guess it's because of the tumor
My grandpa 😍 is basically standing there at my funeral holding a massive stash of like thirty different painkillers, just scratching his head wondering how on earth he’s supposed to deal with this headache 😬 It’s like those people who run straight to their doctor for a little cough, and if the meds don't kick in by tomorrow morning, they’re already booking an appointment with a specialist
And then there’s my grandma 😍 who, because of one single embarrassing moment years ago, hasn't even stepped foot outside our yard since, just staying tucked away so she doesn't lose face
rustymaker60 said:one of the big giveaways is just this insane, overwhelming exhaustion, then you're stuck with a fever for days on end, followed by a nasty sore throat... I mean, if you were hanging out with your friend and maybe shared some drinks or something, you could've picked it up from her saliva, I guess?
The only way to really be sure is to head over to an infectious disease clinic at a hospital like Mayo Clinic or something—then you'll know for sure. Some people breeze through it and nobody even realizes they had it, while others end up totally wiped out in the hospital (like me). But honestly, I bet you're totally fine, no worries at all.
And hey, you can definitely still live your life and be affectionate with someone who has mono without catching it yourself.😁 You just really need to get some blood work done to be certain.🙂

I mean, honestly, if you dumped any of them out in the woods, they wouldn't last a single month.
Look, my dog—he was basically just a ten-month-old puppy—survived three and a half months on his own, 😬so, I guess 😉denoting
Gregory Turner71 said:And yeah... honestly, that whole thing with the smell? It’s just a total clusterfuck. So, I mean, if you aren't out there doing, like, back-breaking manual labor all day or whatever... I guess you could probably get away with skipping a shower for a few days? As long as you hit the basics—you know, washing your feet, pits, and... uh, everything else down there—you’d likely be totally fine and wouldn't really bother anyone around you. Maybe.
Man, they totally played you when they told you that. I mean, seriously, they were straight-up lying to your face. 😁
Man, I still remember when you used to start these whole threads just because nobody wanted to grab a coffee with you... or when you’d jump into a discussion about cool gifts and then end up whining to everyone that all you got was a bar of soap. Seriously. 😬
Matthew Sullivan32 😢 Look, I mean, if you’re wondering why you're still flying solo, maybe—and I'm just saying this, don't hate me—maybe it's because you aren't swapping out your socks every single day? Like, seriously, if you're only changing them once a week instead of tossing them in the hamper after every shower... man, that's probably the issue right there. Just a thought, I guess.
Megan Reed said:ugh, I think you totally misread that... you really only need to do it once every six months or so... 🙄 ☕
oh man 😲 😲
and then there's my guy in the tub... literally just happened yesterday
[action] brisknomad6 is sprinting toward the bathroom. she's trying to fish her poor guy out of the tub because of all this hair... grabs some old boxers from the laundry basket to wipe the shampoo off him. she's like, "honestly, you're gonna be the death of me, seriously." [/action]
yeah, that's on Jefferson now... used to be Missouri back in the day...
man, I seriously need those high-end plastic lenses with the anti-reflective coating, so my starting price for glasses is always through the roof. That discount would actually mean something to me...
but this commission? man, it’s like they're checking to see if a goldfish can tell colors or something. It feels so extra. 😬
I went to see my eye doctor yesterday for a checkup and to get a new prescription
She tells me I'm eligible for a discount and sends me over to the Jefferson clinic...
I handed the prescription to my neighbor who works there and asked her to look into confirming the discount, she just called me back a second ago...
And now comes the absolute best part 😁
I've been wearing glasses for 16 years, I have astigmatism, and my prescription is high enough that even insurance should cover plastic lenses. I haven't updated my frames in five years but
BUT
my damn prescription apparently has to go before a REVIEW BOARD
I mean, how much sheer stupidity does it take for someone who has worn glasses for 16 years and has a massive nearsightedness prescription 😬 to be forced to face a board
🙄 🙄
Man, I am just so fed up with this country and all these incompetent people I’m paying taxes to support...
So, since I’ve (probably) got surgery coming up on me pretty soon, I am seriously considering just showing up with my dictaphone running inside my bag—you know, just in case things go sideways...

you're lucky that Insipidus is 😉
it isn't 😬
but, uh, if this thing can actually be linked back to my testicles (which, honestly, nobody's really explained to me yet), then maybe my 'alien' could be the culprit behind this whole mess...
