The reality is, you are solely responsible for all of Jason Grant's nonsense. He behaves exactly the way you permit him to behave. All that trolling, the insults, the blatant disrespect, and those vulgar outbursts—you can trace it all directly back to your version of "moderation."
So, tell me, are you actually planning to take any real action regarding his behavior?
Jerry Robinson56 said:Don't even bother stressing about it. The act of coming back means absolutely nothing now—it’s like trying to fix something that’s already been shot. You can see there's nothing left. Meanwhile, he just went ahead and ruined everything else that actually mattered. Monty and I have made our positions clear and offered a way forward, but "those people" just aren't capable of grasping it. Rkoh was right to wipe the slate clean, but this last one either lacked the guts to do it or simply failed to be decent. Sometimes she even gets caught up in the lies and the drama. We all mess up, but only decent people admit when they've screwed up.
Deleting posts is your right, but this time you really overstepped. It wasn't just some accidental click either; she made that call herself. One second it was there, and the next—poof—it vanished. Even an editor couldn't have caught that fast.
You can see it's impossible to have a real discussion here because of the die-hard sports fans. They don't contribute anything besides pure mental pollution.Allergy... ugh.
Here’s a fresh example of a good vs. bad one. It’s totally irrelevant to the topic, and he clearly didn't get it from the start.
I don't know what you're talking about. It’s just common sense.
Even if you explain it to him clearly, he’ll just be back at square one. It’s simple physics: when electrons flow through a filament, they create photons—blackbody radiation. And let's not forget Kelvin. 😁See, that’s exactly what I’m talking about. If I didn't know better—especially since he’s supposedly "highly rated"—I'd say he was just playing dumb.
I’ve met some incredible people lately, but Alatnicar is something else—he hasn't got a clue about anything..
Thanks for everything. Let's get to work. 😉

The topic is in the PDF. Science Magazine. So, we're looking at a scientific paper that dives into phenomena that just can't be explained by standard facts alone. It's pretty wild.
Fine, rename that other PDF you’re talking about then. I won't bother typing it out. And honestly, let people say whatever they want. If "Science Magazine" is in the title, everyone knows exactly what that means. It doesn't mean imagination or random "theories," regardless of whether there's any actual proof behind them. Sorry, but you're just wrong.

Brenda Gonzalez12 said:What if we flipped the script and handed a list over to the District Attorney? We could just list everyone here who keeps dropping "advice," "ideas," and "personal experiences" regarding topics that, when you step back and look at them all together, basically amount to the crime of practicing medicine without a license.
Don't believe me? It's a crime! How about "endangering health, life, and property"? That’s a felony too. And no, it isn't impossible to prove. Some people in this thread are out here throwing around total nonsense without a single shred of evidence—and honestly, even the lurkers who don't post are reading this stuff. But they ARE reading it.
So, when someone actually goes and applies what they "read" (whether out of desperation, curiosity, or whatever else) to themselves or others, and things go south health-wise, what then? When there's a digital paper trail showing some "alternative genius" gave that advice right here on this forum, are you really going to try hiding behind a username and claiming you're just using "alternative thinking"? Trust me, there isn't a judge in the country who's going to bail you out of that one.
Maybe after a few formal complaints, we can finally start strictly enforcing the general rules of this forum.
Look, folks, you're adults. You own your words and you stand by what you post. Let's dial down the wild spirits a bit, and specifically, let's stop falling for the junk on those "alternative websites" that claim you can eat literal garbage just because it has "fiber" or because it's "genetically close to the owner." 😵
And what would you say to the BAT kolo crowd? You'd probably just say that they were actually protecting you from the "New World Order," the "police state," and the "institutions" where half of these posters probably should have been sent a long time ago if what they write were true. If you're unhappy because you can't just live in total anarchy and spout nonsense (like "water screaming in agony inside radiator pipes," for example), well, that's on you.
Democracy isn't anarchy. In a democracy, you take responsibility for what you put out into the world. Look, alternative ideas and viewpoints are fine, but they need to be backed by actual evidence. Saying "I believe," "I think," "rumor has it," or "some experts say" or "on certain websites" aren't objective ways to prove anything. It's just spamming the same incorrect views or bad interpretations over and over. If there's proof for something, post it, and we're good. It's argument against argument.
If we do that, there won't be any more issues with people attacking the moderators.

briskbison55 said:Look, you know I’m not just some guy being targeted by one specific person who keeps asking me if I’ve ever actually left an argument in good faith... it’s just constant. It feels kind of pointless when people tell me that I'm valued—and yeah, I appreciate that, including you—but honestly, I have a ton of respect for most of the folks on this forum, even when we don't see eye to eye. And about the whole oil thing, I already laid out the distinction between what’s legal and what’s illegal, especially regarding those wrong claims people are making about how the oil is actually extracted. I guess I just want to be clear about that.
I guess we all have different definitions of what trolling actually is. For me, making a claim without providing a single shred of evidence is just plain nonsense. But, before I write it off as total nonsense, I usually try to ask for a source first. Maybe that's just how I am.So, tell me... how exactly is Pero Pero supposed to threaten you, or anyone else on this entire planet, just because he decides to run out into the direct sunlight after eating some raw food? I mean, seriously, what's the actual connection there? It seems kind of wild if you think about it.
🤦 I mean, isn't refusing medical treatment... I don't know, doesn't accepting what you just wrote feel like it might actually be putting a life at risk? Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it seems that way to me, I guess.Look, honestly... my bad, apologies... I was just... well, I was just sharing my thoughts. But if I keep going like this, just repeating myself and spinning in circles, I’ll probably just end up cluttering the thread for no reason. I don't want to spam everyone needlessly.
You brought it up right in your first post, and I guess maybe some people just grasp a certain belief instantly, but it didn't click for me at all. It’s just... I don't know, I'm genuinely curious where those claims actually come from. Like, what's the source for all that?
briskbison55 said:Are you being serious right now? These people are literally typing out that science and medicine are just slaves to big corporations, and that we should avoid them because everything can be cured using 'their' specific methods. Everything from vaccines to raw food to Chemtrails.Look, it’s pretty obvious to me that you're getting fed nonsense by the Alternative crowd, so I guess I feel a little 🤷 about you being a moderator for this PDF... I mean, I try to imagine astrology being led by someone who follows horoscopes on Facebook, or pet moderation being handled by someone who wouldn't even let an animal in their house...
And when did "Alternative" become such a crazy term for just mindless babbling without any actual basis? These aren't "alternative" thinkers; they're just people denying reality. You tell them that vaccines almost wiped out diseases that were lethal until very recently, and they—in their "alternative" way—ask where you got those claims, even though official statistics from every major organization have stated it a million times over.
northernpilot2, this weirdo won't stop bringing me up, and honestly, the way he writes here is exactly how he is in the Alternative group—zero substance, just endless litanies about people he disagrees with. It's all twisting words, planting ideas, blatant lies, and just repeating what others said to others like some kind of broken record. And this "constructiveness" he's whining about basically boils down to his eternal question: why are you asking me questions instead of proving me wrong with arguments? That is the textbook definition of trolling and destroying any meaningful communication, which he would totally ignore if his mouth wasn't so full of me and my posts all the time.
briskbison55 said:I mean, that’s a pretty wild comparison to make, honestly. Like, when I ask why someone actually believes raw kale can cure them, you immediately jump to the idea that I'm going to go find a pet manual and call for animal extermination on another site. Who exactly is making fun of everyone? I haven't really noticed anyone on the alternative site just trolling. Most of us are just reacting to these... well, these really nonsensical treatises that get pulled out of context by people like Elizabeth Jackson and Jason Grant, and maybe the occasional other user. Because, I guess, most of the other people here—the ones I don't agree with—are actually pretty normal and know how to have a conversation.

And some people clearly know they're the mods' favorites, so they figure they can get away with anything.
What do you mean impossible?
I'm not speaking gibberish here. My stance isn't changing just because someone else is wrong, and I'm certainly not pivoting just to please the crowd.
