Might sound kind of weird, but last week when it was heating up, my toe suddenly started going numb. Now the whole thing just feels... off. Like it's constantly stiff or something. Any idea why that might be happening?

Yeah, I get that. But I’m on the clock at 8, and I don't crash until maybe 1 or 2 AM. I can't handle the heat at night, so I’m already running on fumes since my alarm hits at 6:20. I tried to sleep in a bit more this Saturday, but my head was spinning all day because those last two hours of sleep were way too hot. If I tried to hit the gym around 4 AM on top of this, I’d probably end up in the ER from exhaustion. Guess I'll just try to survive the summer. 😉

Btw, like, SUPER early—around 4:30 AM!
Props to you guys for actually getting out there to train. I'm just waiting for the weather to clear up.
If this keeps up, I might just move to a place in a warmer climate soon, maybe somewhere with decent AC so I can get moving right away.
I went through the exact same thing last year. Only difference was I had this low-grade fever hanging around for three months. My head was just spinning, like I couldn't even make a single decision without feeling dizzy. Symptoms were identical. Blood work came back perfect, blood pressure was fine too—though it’s probably lower normally, since I figured it would spike from being nervous at the doctor's office. I ended up seeing a pulmonologist, a cardiologist, a neurologist, a GI specialist, and finally a psychiatrist. Honestly, I picked this username during that stretch because I genuinely thought I was losing my mind. I had zero energy, just stayed in bed constantly, and actually gained about 20 pounds in those three months because I thought maybe eating more would give me some strength back. Eventually, after all that, the psychiatrist told me I was totally sane and sent me to an immunologist. Turns out I had antibodies for the mono virus. It might have been lingering from before, so maybe it wasn't acute mono, but it's likely what it was, which explains why I had to be so careful about what I ate.
During that whole mess, I was on Yasmin, so when the first doctor suggested the pills might be causing the dizziness, I stopped taking them. I also quit smoking around then.
So yeah, that was my experience. You should definitely go see a doctor, though. Good luck.
It's probably nothing, but better safe than sorry.
Maybe you're just going through a stressful patch.

"I've heard half the country calling us idiots, saying we should've just folded so we could face someone else in the quarterfinals. But what if we actually let them walk and then got knocked out by Iceland? What would they be saying then? That we have zero competitive spirit or something. It’s impossible to please everyone here."
Paul Bunyan is a legend.
I don't know, I guess I'd rather see them play fair even if they lose, but honestly, they earned that medal.
The whole tournament format is pretty rigged. The group winners should go straight to the semifinals. It's kind of a joke that you can go 7 for 7 and still miss the podium, while guys like the Russians can take three losses and still finish first.

Yeah, but he isn't on the roster, so he can't. Leo could've taken the risk and registered him, but if that test came back positive, everyone would've been throwing him under the bus.
It's a stupid technicality, but that's how it goes. Just dumb bureaucracy, everywhere you look.
goldenbison4 said:God, I hate Spain. Honestly, the only upside is that nobody’s getting held accountable for this total mess right now, but they’re gonna pay for it in the final game for😈
The only thing is David won't be able to play before the quarterfinals.
Too bad.
But if Spain gets knocked out in the group stage, they'll end up at 12th.
Those Spaniards are such scammers. Test A came back negative—well, technically he tested positive for a mild diuretic that’s actually ALLOWED. It's honestly pathetic to throw accusations around like that.
I don't know, I just assumed he wasn't doping, maybe he accidentally took something he shouldn't have (like how some cold meds can have banned substances), but this?
I'm pretty pissed off, honestly. Just want to go scream into a pillow right now.

As for Pero, he’s dealing with a classic case of being totally frozen up, so hopefully he’s good to go by tomorrow.
That's not too bad, I guess. As long as Pero is alright and we don't run into any more injuries. We actually have a decent bench, too. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more from Duvnjak myself.
So, what's the deal with Dominiković and the doping stuff? Anyone know what's actually going on?
And about Metlicica—that injury—I'm really hoping it isn't anything too serious.
Now I’m asking an even stupider question, but where is the infectious part? haha, I mean, I’ve never actually needed it, so I guess I never really cared much
Nah, she told me it was just an allergy, but I’ve got a fever too, so I don't really buy the whole allergy thing...
Anyone know a good private general practitioner? My current doctor gave me a diagnosis I’m not really buying, so I’m looking for a second opinion. Ideally somewhere in downtown Washington, D.C.
