You know what—I told myself I wasn’t going to let this get to me. But honestly? My child isn't stepping foot in a car without an appropriately installed car seat. Let them try to argue with me—any court in the country would side with my postpartum 🤣 🤣 🤣

Fortunately, we live so close to home that if they won't comply, the little one can just stay cozy in the stroller for that quick two-minute stroll from the corner store back to our place, and everyone wins 😍
Charles Miller3 said:Lately, I've been hearing it from both sides—they’re all insisting I need some fancy baby carrier just to get the little one out of the hospital. Their logic? "Oh, we all carried you in carriers and look how fine you turned out!" Like, seriously? I've told them a hundred times—no, we're using the car seat. But nope, Mom’s back at it with her nonsense: "But I saw such a cute little Moses basket!". 😁😁

Personally, I need to buy an infant car seat, but she keeps dodging it because "you already have the bassinet," as if we don't immediately need 🙂

I recently told her that if I have to scramble to buy a car seat just a week before my due date, she won't even see her grandchild until their first birthday 🙂—she claims she's going tomorrow 🤣

+ and to top it all off, my coworkers at the office told me they all used those little bassinets 🙂 and questioned why I'm stressing about car safety when we live only two blocks from the hospital 🙂

My patience is wearing thin 🙂
Anthony Watson35 said:I totally get you. I’ve got about two and a half months left—basically three—and people at the office were still giving me those "where's the belly?" looks the other day. I should've just left it at home, goddammit. 🙄

It isn't exactly a stroke of luck, either—my belly has popped out, yet my face, arms, and chest show absolutely nothing. It leads to those awkward moments when retail clerks behind the counter realize what's happening.

Just last month, I had four different employees at various baby boutiques all notice me on the exact same day—it seems they really do keep a close eye on expectant mothers! —"Oh my gosh, you carry it so well, how far along are you?"—"Two months, maybe a little more."—"Wow, that long! I went into the hospital with a much bigger bump than that!"—Thanks, friend, that is very comforting. 🙂
It truly was wonderful 😍 I love seeing everyone gathered together 😍

The bands 🙏 those classic hits playing through my headphones 🙏 a pile of drinks 🙏 an early morning session on the Wii 🙏

To me, Band of Horses feels entirely different from My Morning Jacket—completely distinct. Aside from that specific vocal style, I suppose.
As for Fleet Foxes, I just can't shake the feeling that they're a bit too precious. They're different again. In truth, they all feel somewhat similar to me—but as long as they keep singing with that James-style voice, they could probably mimic anyone they wanted if they felt like it. 😍

or perhaps soup dragons 😍

it is simply because I have never cared for that loudmouth 🙂

I attempted to pitch Fleet Foxes to them—though, clearly, neither he nor his wife views me as some sort of musical authority😢

But my real point was simply this: the album is quintessentially Fleet Foxes and absolutely beautiful. It seems she likely anticipated exactly how a new MMJ record would sound😍

This is going straight into the car playlist immediately🙂

It appears the main headliners have finally been announced—it seems everyone knows who they are now. 🤣

😍 You all are quite precious

even if you look like you're headed to 🙂 a funeral
It would be quite appropriate at this moment for that lovely hateful post by Basilov—was he even a 🤔?—to surface here. Truly fitting. 😠

Regardless, I find it increasingly easy to decide against attending any performance featuring these artists. 🤣
I honestly don't think I have ever encountered a more rude or obnoxious group of security guards in my entire life than those guys at the IEEE event last night. 🤮

It’s such a shame that we live in a country where club managers and event organizers don't seem to care about hiring decent people—instead, they let absolute Neanderthals man the doors. Honestly, the guys were lucky I had a few drinks and was feeling a bit too spirited to stay focused; otherwise, I probably would have run them over with my car afterwards. 😁

Just disgusting.

Chris Barrett37 said:Honestly—what exactly about this guy scares you people?

Who, Jason Chavez32? Not really.—

I felt a little intimidated myself once—back when I was rushing through my finals—but after that one time I stayed up two nights straight before graduation, I think they’d just keep me in the "underachiever" category indefinitely.🤷
All my other cassette players have finally kicked the bucket—but this little guy still cranks them out, even if he makes that ridiculous bzzzzzz bzzzzzzz sound when rewinding. Honestly, mine is such a dark brown, it almost looks like it was finished in wood grain. 😍

I can’t quite believe I can't recall it myself either 😳

Seriously, just don't use that word again. 😱

Haha... 🤣
The first point isn't quite right—but even if it were, here is the crux of the matter:

Sam Smith14 said:I didn't really follow those—it feels like there are hundreds of bands just like them in every single city in America.

brightridge19, we don't even have that kind of scene here in the States.

As for your second point, you're completely off base. 😛

😍
Well, why the surprise? That’s just Zoran "The Pavement" acting like his usual self 🤣 — he's easily one of the most chaotic writers over at the news site. Honestly, the comments section below is pure gold 🙏

As for me, I had a wonderful time. Between catching The Hold Steady 😍 and hitting that aerobics class 🙏, just meeting people in the rain and soaking it all in... it was lovely
