The way I see it, probably not. Feelings have their own physiological side to them, and I figure the intensity of what you feel should be proportional to the physical ways it shows up—stuff you could actually measure.

Maybe I just have a bias against people who keep their passions and feelings tucked away where nobody can see them? 😉

Wisdom usually looks like moderation—mostly because it weighs all the different angles of an issue until you end up landing somewhere in the middle.

But being moderate isn't always the smart move.
Sometimes, the wise thing to do—even if it seems extreme—is to refuse to compromise. It just depends.

I look at passion as this raw energy we pour into whatever we're doing—regardless of whether we can actually manage how much of it flows or if it's even under our control.

If that energy is running wild without any oversight, then yeah, we’re basically just slaves to our passions. But if you can actually regulate that flow? That's when passion becomes a massive driving force.

Driven people tend to hit like absolute energy bombs, don't they? A total contrast to those lukewarm, mediocre types who just kind of... flicker. 😉

Personally, I've always been a fan of fire and the thunder from a summer storm—basically any kind of massive energy discharge. And if that discharge is channeled toward a specific goal? Even better. 😁
