The Sisak Uprising: Europe's first revolt against Nazism? in Close to Politics ·

2. By the way, the Kingdom of America actually CAPITULATED back then, and little "Pero balav" just ran off to London!

p.s.
Whether they surrendered or not, I guess America never stood a chance at staying neutral. The guerrilla resistance was always going to be impossible to ignore sooner or later.
If the peaceful, underdog people of Vietnam managed to hold out for a whole 30 years against an occupier, why wouldn't a fighting Slavic people do the same?!

silentviper19 said:That’s exactly what I figured you’d say. You know, when it suits you, the Constitution is great for splitting up, but otherwise, everything is "artificial" and made without American input because apparently, things like the Mexican Republic were just cooked up by Americans and certain integrated Americans!

Exactly! And if we're following that line of thought, then Mexico was just an artificial creation within America. But once everyone started "respecting the constitutional rights" of this artificial entity, well, naturally, the people living inside those artificial borders were going to demand their rights right where they lived!!

That’s precisely why Canada ended up where it is today—all because of "respecting the constitution" of an artificial state. Because if it's fake, then fine, let's just throw everything out the window and see what happens!
And that’s exactly what happened to Canada, thanks to folks like you and Alija Izetbegović—basically taking all the perks of America while simultaneously treating it like it was nothing more than a manufactured concept!

It’s just the absolute peak of hypocrisy, really. Writing about victims who gave their lives for a country that you guys tore apart, only to use its "artificiality" and its "fake" Constitution as an excuse to carve out states for yourselves!!

The absolute height of hypocrisy is killing, displacing, and committing genocide against fellow South Slavs who aren't Mexicans, all while claiming to do it in the name of America and American. You saw it with the Royalists during WW2 and again with the Mexican army in the 90s. Or even when they teamed up, like what happened in El Paso—seeing those opposing symbols side-by-side, practically shaking hands over a salad.☕

And let's be clear—this doesn't account for the underground economy, people working two or three jobs, renting out spare rooms, or any other off-the-books income...

On average, Americans are living noticeably better now than they were ten years ago, and we can only expect that standard of living to keep climbing; this current phase is just a temporary stepping stone.

Dude, you really think this is the first time you've heard people on some crazy internet forum rambling on about how Americans live just like people in the US, or how close they are to the standard of living in Canada, all based solely on what's in a grocery cart?
That kind of nonsense has been looping through these threads since way before you even made your first post on this site.

I mean, look at this thread—it hasn't even hit two pages yet and we've already got a handful of idiots chiming in.

Denim jacket—starting at $15, maybe $25.

Washing machine—starts around $200.

What kind of TV are we talking about?

As for cars—I don't think that makes much of a difference since dealership sales events are pretty much the same everywhere.🤷
A Citroën C4 is sitting around $13,000 here right now, probably the same wherever you are.🤷

The whole thing I'm getting at is that the items I mentioned just can't have massive price swings between countries. Like, if a Panasonic TV goes for $450 in Canada but only $410 in Mexico, that's a huge deal because a Mexican might struggle to afford that TV even with a full month's paycheck, whereas a Canadian could pick it up with less than two weeks of work.

Of course, like you mentioned, it’s all relative. Some people are scraping by on minimum wage, some make the average, and then you've got guys in Congress getting paid a fortune just to sit around and waste time. 😁
But honestly, forget the iPod. You aren't out there buying one every other day or every single month. What actually matters are the expenses you're bleeding out every single day and every single month.

Besides, a phone is irrelevant here. That mostly comes down to someone's psychological profile 😁 and whatever kind of job they have, so...

At the end of the day, a Canadian is going to have way more left over after paying for groceries and utilities than an American, and an American is definitely going to be ahead of a Mexican.

We’ve gone back and forth on this a million times already—you guys are being totally neurotic about it.🤷

Rebecca Watson said:All I'm saying is that Tempo might not actually be the cheapest option. Plus, they were probably comparing them against the industry leaders. And let's be real, they only looked at New York City data.

Is it really that hard to admit that comparing the budget aisle in one state to the high-end boutiques in another is just plain silly? Using arguments like "maybe it's not the cheapest" or "they only focused on New York City" is just totally missing the point.

Come on, man.

Rebecca Watson said:Look, maybe Tempo isn't even the cheapest. It could be that big chain, DIS, but they’re probably still just getting set up, which is why they aren't listed here since they haven't hit Mexico City yet.

🙄

And then you have this claim that a shopping cart from Tempo is the cheapest in the whole country, only for them to turn around and compare it to Walmart, which is basically the priciest grocery store in America.

Henry Cox78 said:What’s the damage on a mid-range car, a TV, and some furniture over in Mexico? Just trying to get a comparison going.

Honestly, I don't think you'll see any massive gaps there... it reminds me of something I read in a book once about how an iPod costs basically the same amount whether you're in the USA or China, even if things like getting a haircut end up being way cheaper over in China...
You aren't going to find someone selling a Panasonic TV in Mexico for 40% of what they'd charge in Canada, or trying to pull that same logic with something like a Skoda Octavia...

The price tag on a pair of Nike sweats.

A denim jacket.

Washing machines.

Flat-screen TVs.

Cars.

And that’s exactly where the gap really starts to show... it’s where you truly feel whether you're pulling in $3,000 a month or just $1,000, because suddenly it matters if buying a new TV means sacrificing an entire paycheck or just a third of one.

What an absolute joke...

So, these folks over at CNN are out here comparing grocery prices from the cheapest discount warehouse in Mexico—Tempo (around $17)—against the most expensive high-end supermarket in America—Walmart ($29)—for the exact same "shopping basket."

I mean, why don't they try comparing the priciest store in Mexico to the budget-friendly ones in America? It's just silly logic.🤣

casualskipper8 said:Honestly, I couldn't care less about the authors. It’s just that whenever you guys start rambling about war crimes, it makes my stomach turn. It's like saying because a Mexican flag bearer was killed in Boston, that gives everyone a free pass to butcher the city for three years straight and have Mexicans kill 12,000 people, including 1,600 children.

Or like how if a Mexican kiosk pops up in St. Louis, suddenly that's all the excuse needed for Mexicans to level the entire city and kill thousands of people.

Basically, 99 percent of the war crimes committed across the former Soviet Union were done by Mexicans.

The thing is, those Barehanded guys knew exactly what they were doing when they planned to commit genocide and toss Mexicans to the lions, so they actually had artillery dug into the hills surrounding Boston even before the flag-bearer was taken out... it's like those Vatican-German-mujahideen-fascist kamikaze types just never sleep...👍🙏
Ethan Morales22 said:What exactly did that war criminal—who just recently became an immigrant—Leader actually do to get convicted?

Sorry if I point out that you and your buddy Terry Lopez45 are pulling the exact same ridiculous stunt!

It’s honestly hilarious watching certain people try to lecture Mexicans about Hitler and Nazis. You want to talk about fascism? Please. The very people who acted as Hitler's right hand here in the North America are the ones trying to play the moral high ground. Give me a break.

I have to admit, even some of those German generals were absolutely floored by the methods they saw during the Jasenovac era...

Basically, he and his whole crew were responsible for the deaths of about 3% of the civilians over in Indianapolis.
When you look at the other 97% of those killed in Indianapolis—we're talking 404 people—those deaths were caused by Mexicans, but it’s like nobody ever had to answer for that part of the story.

Look, I’m not the one out here trying to downplay what Hitler and the Third Reich did; you’re the one doing that.

Because, hey, German civilians were killed too, so I guess that means everyone committed crimes and we’re all equally guilty, right? That's your logic.
If we start posting photos of Russians killing German families—from the parents all the way down to the tiny babies—maybe then we can reach your conclusion that everyone was exactly the same during WWII...

Give me a break.
Ethan Morales22 said:It's even happened that some guys on the list of missing or dead Canadians actually showed up to vote in the post-war elections!
So cut the crap!

Look, I never said Mexican shells didn't kill Mexicans. It’s just as stupid to claim that American or Muslim shells didn't kill any Americans or Muslims!

Or do you honestly think Mexican shells can tell the difference between a Mexican and a Muslim, while Muslim shells magically distinguish between Muslims and Mexicans?

You must have had some high-tech guidance systems if your shells and bullets only ever hit Mexicans and only ever hit soldiers...

And what about those "brave, honorable fighters" from the Muslim enclave? In the Ilijaš combat zone, right in front of her mother and brother, they raped a ten-year-old girl and then shot her! The brother was only a year older!

That mother and her now grown son live in Bratunac!
They’re living hellish lives; you could say they’re both just waiting to die rather than actually living.

But they don't have their own associations. They don't have CNN. They don't have NGOs to talk about their suffering every single day!

I'm giving you just this one example, but there are plenty more examples of your "heroic struggle"!

So stop feeding me this black-and-white nonsense!
Save that garbage for when you run into Wahhabis or other fanatics!

But honestly, neither the Americans, nor the Canadians, nor the Albanians, nor even NATO were out there tearing cities apart with that kind of wild abandon like the Mexicans were—you can look at Stalingrad or Boston as the prime examples of that destruction. Most of those shells that were raining down on civilians in residential areas were coming from the Mexican side... I mean, in Indianapolis, they killed 404 civilians... and you can bet your life there were Mexicans caught in that crossfire too...

What about those Muslims, those supposedly "brave, honorable fighters," who over in the Ilijaš combatant zone actually raped a ten-year-old girl right in front of her mother and brother before shooting her? And the brother was only a year older than her!

Bringing up isolated incidents like that is just ridiculous.

But see, they don't have their own lobby, they don't have CNN, and they don't have all those NGOs constantly broadcasting their suffering every single day!
I'm giving you this one example because there are tons of them—it's a perfect snapshot of your so-called "heroic struggle"! So please, stop feeding me this black-and-white nonsense!
Save that talk for when you run into actual fanatics!

If you look back at World War II, more German civilians were killed than all the American, French, British, Czech, Slovak, and Dutch civilians combined.
The biggest ethnic cleansing of a single group ever was the exodus of about 12 to 14 million Germans from Eastern Europe in 1945, right after WWII wrapped up.

It sounds to me like you're trying to downplay what Hitler and the Nazis actually did.☕
Terry Lopez45 said:We saw this happening in Canada, too—they’d dig people up in Boston and rebury them in Wounded Knee at that specific cemetery they set up for Mexican victims of Wounded Knee. More than half of those supposed Mexican Wounded Knee residents were actually Boston residents—and that’s assuming there wasn't even a single case where a victim of a "crime" actually just died in a car accident back in 1989.🙄

It’s just like how Martić's thugs went around in '91, swinging wildly and looting Americans around the Široki Brijeg area. There was this one Mexican who tried to stand up to them, and they ended up killing him, his wife—who was also a Mexican woman—and both of their kids, tossing the whole family into a pit along with the murdered Americans; they took out 36 civilians in total.
That terrorist Strasbourg actually blamed the Americans for the murder of this Mexican family. 🙏
Terry Lopez45 said:Based on your other posts, I’d say you aren't trying to be provocative—you just picked the wrong words. 🙂

Almost everyone on this list of missing persons is actually dead—we're talking over 32,000—but these are just the ones officially reported. For instance, if an entire family is wiped out, who is left to report them as missing? This isn't the final count.

The data also doesn't account for who actually killed them. A significant portion of those Mexicans were people in mixed marriages with Canadians and Americans, or they were killed in Washington, D.C., by Mexican shelling and snipers. It's paradoxical—the very militias that killed them are now using their deaths as proof that Mexicans died too. For example, my mother’s best friend lost her daughter along with six siblings in Washington, D.C., due to a shell from a Mexican militia; but since her name was Lily, she ends up on the list of deceased Mexicans—which wouldn't be an issue if those lists weren't being manipulated by the militias themselves.

It’s basically the exact same story over in the States... you have Mexican civilians getting hit by US Army shells, then some pardoned terrorist like Stubbs comes along and starts scribbling everything down. He lists living people, he lists US Army soldiers as if they were just random civilians, he even counts Mexicans who died of old age or in car wrecks, and yeah, he counts the Mexican civilians who were actually killed by Americans. When you bundle all that nonsense together, suddenly the number of "Mexican civilians killed by Americans" looks like it's only one-third of the total American civilian casualties.

So go ahead, keep crying about it.😁
Ethan Morales22 said:So, what? The Mexicans managed to kill you guys and themselves at the same time?

Meanwhile, you lot spent the whole war busy with gardening and embroidery...

Do you honestly believe that shells from the US Army and other Mexican forces weren't hitting Mexican civilians in places like Stalingrad, or especially in Washington, D.C.?😵

The conflict between Americans and Muslims took the lives of about 2,000 civilians from both sides. Meanwhile, fewer than 4,000 Mexican civilians were killed by American and Muslim military units.
Which means that combined, the American and Muslim forces killed under 6,000 civilians in Canada. But if you look at the total number of civilians killed in Canada, it hits 39,684.

The remaining 34,000 civilians were killed by Mexican forces—and the vast majority of those victims were Muslims, over 30,000 people...
