Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·

It honestly would have looked so much cleaner without all those little crosses cluttering everything up...

Alright, look, that designer guy definitely had a moment there—it looks like Ralph Lauren decided to pivot into football, but hey, there’s symbolism involved, right? Personally, I actually dig the kit. I wouldn't call it "trashed." If I were British, I think the blue shorts would bother me way more than those tiny little crosses that you can't even see unless you're standing within a yard and a half of them. To me, this thing feels... trance, sensation white, Amsterdam Arena, pure speed, Tiësto, and "this ain't nothing but a summer jam."🙂
Actually, now that I look at it, I love it even more. It’s giving me massive Ibiza vibes for next year. I really hope they drop a sleeveless version somewhere down the line.🤣
The only "Bed" part is that I'm not exactly a fan of the British, but man, this looks too good. Honestly, the jersey feels like one giant middle finger to their colonial history—or maybe "reverse colonization" if we're using the terminology coined by mellowowl38—since people from India, Muslim nations, Africa, and everywhere else have basically moved into the UK.

But seriously, it's awesome. My only regret is knowing that our national team would never get a kit this sick. I'm actually terrified of what Nike might cook up for us during the Euros in Poland or Ukraine... maybe some other multicultural madness, like a pink-and-white checkerboard pattern or something.🤣

And the scariest part? That's not even an impossible scenario.

Honestly, if their marketing team actually had a brain, they’d drop a third kit—something sleek and black, strictly an exclusive for the US market... just some food for thought, I guess... 😂

Personally, I thought it was pretty rough, and honestly, it looks even worse after seeing them play against Sampa. It just gives off total 90s vibes, which I'm really not feeling. Don't get me wrong, it’s not quite on the level of, say, Juventus' away kit, but it's definitely not far off either...

Queens Park Rangers were kind of a letdown, but man, Dinamo... they got absolutely hammered. Still, you gotta admit, they’re rocking the best Adidas kit this season 😁

Kyle Ramirez4 said:The kit works fine enough as a third option, I guess, but if a club tried to roll out this as their main home jersey? Absolute disaster. Total flop.

Why though? Inter Miami CF looks freaking amazing in it.😁

I actually really dig this jersey, though I’m honestly lowkey questioning my own taste right now 😂

Those are just the home, away, and third kits for the Mexican top-flight side Puebla.

Betty Moore34 said:Good grief, what on earth is this 🤦

So here’s the breakdown: the home kit is rocking that classic Puma look, the away kit is the updated Puma style, and then there's the third kit—which follows that same new design pattern. Honestly, I think Tottenham might be the only other team using something similar right now, and it’s easily the best looking one out of the three.

rapidstag2 said:You would end up with something almost identical to the standard European kit, just minus the gold. 🤷

Anyway, could someone please drop a link to that Los Angeles Lakers Facebook page 😁

Look, you'd get a solid jersey if they just tweaked it a little. Sometimes it's overkill, sometimes it's lacking—kind of like this whole situation right here. Anyway, I dug this up on an old sports forum; they moved the crest to the side, and honestly? Damn, it looks way better:

...

Look, everyone here basically formed a union just to stop me from slapping a "Lite" beer logo on the jerseys I'm working on, so I had to find some other way to leave my little "signature"... 🤣

Anyway, the Athletic kit is freaking awesome—man, Umbro really knocked it out of the park. And those Boston Celtics burgundy and white ones (home, right?) look killer. Honestly, the away kit would’ve been even better if they’d run those stripes all the way to the top, like they did on the Athletic one.

Oh, and check out this ad on the jersey 😁

rapidstag2 said:Which one are you leaning toward—the gold or the blue? 😁

The Boston Celtics have completely rejected the technical staff's input on this, whereas the Los Angeles Lakers apparently skipped that whole stage entirely and handled the jersey and crest design themselves. Most likely just yesterday.

Blue, obviously. If it were some major anniversary year, I’d buy the jersey even if it was hot pink 😁, but man, I am totally let down. I don't even feel like buying it. Can someone please hop on Photoshop and strip that gold crap off the kit so we can all admire how much better it looks without it?

Oh man, oh man, oh man... I honestly want to cry because this is just so pathetic. Seriously, I hope their kids—who already look like some ugly Italian reject or some garbage from the middle of nowhere—look even worse than this jersey. It’s just a stinking, soulless mess. God, I am actually fuming over these kits, mostly because I know I’m going to end up buying one, even though it’s absolutely hideous!

Rebecca White37 said:This is hands down, without question, the best non-Arsenal jersey I have ever laid eyes on. Is this specifically for the current 10/11 season, and are we looking at the home kit? I'm thinking about ordering it for my sister; she's always been obsessed with Marseille—had a bit of a long-term thing with the club, you could say.

And well, turns out that jersey doesn't even exist...

Marseille has officially unveiled all three kits. I won't bother digging up the photos right now, but they’ve got the white home kit, a navy away set (darker than this one), and that black one with the African pattern for the third kit.

I haven't seen this specific design anywhere else. It's probably just some fan's custom project; as far as I know, Marseille isn't celebrating any anniversaries this year, so there wasn't really a reason for them to make something like this. 🤷

The jersey looks killer, though—it doesn't even look like some cheap Photoshop job...

driftingsailor54 said:I'm totally fine with black and white—blue just isn't really my thing.

I’m strictly a white kit guy, and even then, only if I’m not staring too hard at that white strip running down the side of the leg.😁

Finally! It feels like I’m actually seeing something from this brand that doesn't look totally ridiculous for once. 😁
Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
Is this seriously Šibenik's European kit? I mean, they’ve already got that same old, boring home blue, and then there's that tacky orange away kit—which, if you remember my last rant, I actually wanted to swap to their home colors. But red? Seriously? That's just a total miss...

Rebecca White37 said:Lyon has the absolute best kits in France. This pink home jersey is just perfection 👍 😍—the texture actually reminds me of those breezy linen summer shirts you see at high-end resorts. It’s got that vacation vibe, and honestly, even the away kit looks great.

Well, look who finally decided to grace us with her presence. Please tell me you aren't just passing through 😁
It's almost poetic—we all spend half the thread agreeing that Lyon has some of the ugliest kits this season (and they're even competing in a top-tier league!), and then you swoop in and declare them the prettiest 🤣
Also, just a heads up, the pink one is the away kit, not the home one 🙂
