I can't seem to toggle the AHCI setting in my BIOS. Why is that happening if Windows 7 already includes SATA drivers? Could it be because I accidentally enabled IDE mode before starting the installation

The program simply doesn't exist... 9.12 is actually the more advanced and much more powerful version, so the 2010 edition essentially upgrades into 9.12.

I personally own both and I'm happy with them both... regarding system crashes, that's not about being smart because I've been using Glary Utilities for years and I've never crashed my system

It runs everything you need perfectly, performing even better than Windows Vista, and you can easily install it on older hardware too—just let the philosophers deal with their own existential crises...
