Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Part 5 in War in Ukraine ·
Who was asking for what? Honestly, we’re just guessing at this point—it sounds like something straight out of a movie. Nobody actually knows the deal yet. I'm assuming since they weren't executed, there isn't much left to squeeze out of them. They gathered some intel, sure, but who knows what kind of value they actually walked away with.

They basically traded them for higher-ranking prisoners, Wagner guys, and Viktor Medvedchuk. There was likely some serious cash and a bunch of other perks baked into that deal too, probably acting as collateral for future swaps and negotiations down the road. It’s pretty interesting how much influence the Saudi and Turkish sides had here. But again, how it all went down is anyone's guess—this whole situation with that Azov crew feels totally cinematic.
Bad Boys in Fans ·
Either people are just trolling or they’re actually lacking some basic brain cells, because there's no other way to explain asking such half-baked questions. Seriously, how many times do we have to go through the same loop of identical questions and the exact same explanations? Maybe someone should just slap a list of FAQs at the top of every single thread. That way, when the mindless questions start rolling in, you can just drop a link and let them read up. Look, you’re totally free to have a different opinion on this topic, but asking the same thing over and over for five-plus years isn't just annoying—it’s straight-up disrespectful. And don't come at me with that "please, I didn't mean anything by it" crap; I'm not looking for a participation trophy but....
Winamp in Software ·
It’s such a shame, though. I grew up with Winamp, and it just became this muscle memory thing where I’d always fire it up to listen to the radio. It was honestly way more convenient than using iTunes to sync music over to my iPod. RIP Winamp ;_;

Black Sabbath - I've seen them live before, but man, I'd go again in a heartbeat. It’s such a bummer they never play anywhere near my neck of the woods without making me drive like 500 miles just to catch a show...

Verizon is acquiring AT&T in Economy ·
Shouldn't the Federal Communications Commission (or whatever they're calling themselves these days) be giving the green light on this stuff first? Honestly, knowing how AT&T operates, I’ve got a bad feeling this buyout isn't going to do much for us customers. And what if those rumors are actually true—though I really hope it's just trash talk—about AT&T and Verizon teaming up to merge into one giant company just to cut costs? What would that even do to the market? Is that even legal?

Man, I am dying for something with those same vibes as "May Holiday" or "Sacred Love"... just pure magic.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfFqUA4DY0U

I haven't seen anyone post that yet—you know, like that whole "let's just get high" vibe from the bar. 😁

Someone already posted about Electric Wizard; Dopethrone is a classic, but honestly, Witchcult isn't half bad either when we're talking about POM vibes—especially those tracks "Satanic Rites of Drugula" and "The Chosen Few."

Under Saturn's rays, I lie in eternal slumber, while dope smoke invades my tomb and pulls me back to life.
Clawing my way out of the grave, spreading my bat wings wide.
Their veins are pumping nothing but drugs—so high, so dead.

Your drug-laced blood reveals brand new highs to me.
Pure bloodlust, pure druglust, Count Drugula rises...

High on blood, I stalk the streets under the cover of night.
Terror descending from the Sky, striking down like Batman.
Your naked body gets dragged straight into my dark crypt.
I tie you up, dose you up, and then I sip your blood.

Drugula.....

Sick.
Honestly, it just depends on how wasted or high I am, but either way, I always keep things classy....I'm having a blast regardless 😁
How do I become a music critic? in Music ·
Honestly, with everything you just laid out, you’re practically destined for greatness given a name like Angel... if you really want people to get where you're coming from, go check out this new track by Kawasaki 3P—Angel 😁

Wait, hold on... did Motörhead basically get killed by death?
How did you all get started? in Music ·
I started out listening to psychomodopop and similar American rock right during the war years. By the end of the conflict, I was into The Prodigy, which eventually led me straight into the hits from DJ Mag that were blowing up back then. My buddy and I used to trek over to the local record shop just to listen to his vinyl because we definitely didn't have any decent sound setup at home...

Then came high school—just as the techno scene was starting to explode globally and here in the States, so we started getting into different vibes. That was my Cypress Hill and Beastie Boys phase, followed by a slow slide into Sepultura and Rage Against the Machine. Around the middle of high school, I drifted toward hardcore, though ideally without all that messy "family" crap...

By the time I finished high school, I was old enough to dive deep into core genres, death metal, and drum & bass (what a combo, right? 😁), which is basically what stuck with me to this day. Now, thanks to the Internet, I can hunt down any band I want, so today I’m mostly digging through doom, some black metal, stoner rock, and sludge...
Honestly, I never really got into them growing up because I didn't have anything to play them on. The one radio station that actually played them was something I had to share with everyone else in the house, so it was a constant struggle.

Even if I managed to borrow a Discman once in a while, trying to track down burned CDs just wasn't cutting it. My ears were craving something much deeper than that...

Later on, things got easier when high-speed internet rolled in and I could download those first albums via 56k modem before WinMX even existed. I remember the first real hardcore band from NYC I found—that wasn't just some macho, garbage trash like the stuff I used to pick up—was Indecision's *Release the Cure*... man, I never got over that. It was pure euphoria. I was about 16 or 17, driving around, blasting them, and it felt like my soul finally found the peace I’d been searching for. You know that feeling when you discover a band all on your own? (Okay, truth be told, I heard about them through a guy at a local skate shop in LA who was handing out free flyers, but still). That's where it all started for me...

Anyway, don't get mad at me for such a random, rambling post, but man, I just had to get this off my chest...

They aren't even about race; look at these guys who take this whole thing way too seriously 😛 they totally got played. Turns out they were just posing about being racialists. Source: http://www.stormfront.org/forum/show...-412948p4.html

Anyway, there's a word for this whole crowd: losers! 😁
Grind in Music ·
I’d also highly recommend checking out Pyorrhoe, specifically their 2004 release, Desire for Torment. They’ve got this perfect amount of gore elements that really defines why they’re such a genius band. Their follow-up in '06, The Eleventh : Thou Shalt be my slava, leans more into a death/grind blend, and honestly, it’s the absolute peak of pure creativity and raw aggression.

Who doesn't love some good old-fashioned grind? Especially that Napalm cover of those Nazi punks—seriously, it’s hands down the most aggressive Antifa track ever made...

I’d also highly recommend checking out Embalming Theatre. These guys from Switzerland are the real deal; their 2003 album, sweet Chainsaw Melodies, is absolutely killer.

*I'd totally post the album art too, but man, I have no clue how to upload images on here. Damn.
Jeans recommendations? in Fashion ·
Look, you either go with the Levi's Red Label—the red tab, the absolute classic—or you just don't bother. This is real denim, not that "new fashion" nonsense they try to push on us. From this day forward, I’m officially a proud owner.🙂
