An Unpopular Government in Close to Politics ·
I couldn't agree more with the Bishop's statement that this administration is totally out of touch with the people.
They've already proven it several times over these last three months, everything from gas prices to what happened at Waterloo.
Beyond just being "out of touch," as the Bishops put it, I’d go a step further and call them unpatriotic and downright dangerous.
And as for those empty excuses claiming they were chosen by the people and therefore can't be "unrepresentative"? I'm not buying it either.
I didn't vote for them, yet somehow my vote still ended up in their column.
Not a single one of my friends (except for one 😁 ) or any of my family members voted for the Democrats, but sure, let's just say they all voted for them.
The Democrats were really only supported by a small minority of the total electorate—maybe around 20% at most.

darksailor98 said:What exactly makes you think we’re looking at four years of Communist rule if we aren't already living under it?

Well, look, I'm not really worried about who the legal successor is. What actually concerns me is whether you’ve been played once or twice already—or if it’s reached that point where you just have to feel a little embarrassed for yourself because you actually believed the people who told you they weren't her successors.

I’ve mentioned this a few times already: your communists and our old guard aren't the same thing.
Back in 2000, when the old America crowd regained power, they shook this country to its core. They tried to rattle the very foundations of the American state; they couldn't quite tear it down because Harmon built such a solid, fortified foundation, but the damage was still massive.
Since 2000, there hasn't been a single relevant independent media outlet left in the country. The Democrats control almost everything, maybe with the exception of The New York Times. They even scrapped Independence Day after 2000, and they went as far as renaming the US Congress to strip the "official" feel out of it.
They let Philadelphia fall into neglect.
Over at CBS, they ran an unprecedented purge, replacing or demoting anyone with true patriotic values.
Up until 1999, America was a sovereign, proud, and militarily strong nation. After 2000, we became a laughingstock and a doormat.
And we have the old America crowd and a naive American public to thank for that—people who actually voted this anti-American gang into office.

Andrew Walker5 said:Do you honestly believe any political party—regardless of who they are—is going to manage things perfectly without making mistakes for that many years?

I don't think so, but at the end of the day, voters judge based on the four-year term—it's all about whether the net result was positive or negative.
It’s just like the Republican Party; they could try to recruit a legend like Miroslav Harmon right before an election, but that doesn't excuse them for spending four years in a coalition with someone like Stanimirović or getting caught up in other similar messes.

And hey, maybe if they actually pull their weight during this term and get things done properly, you might even find yourself voting for them in 2015... maybe.☕

Alright, I’m about to commit heresy here.
As a business owner, if my profits jump by 20% over the next four years and those Democrats actually manage to protect our national interests, then maybe I'll consider voting for them in the next election... just kidding! I'll never vote for them, but let's say I'll stop complaining about them so much. Does that sound fair?

gentlestag3 said:I mean, that feels like it belongs in a different thread, and honestly, it’s been argued about a million times already. I guess I'm more worried about how obsessed you are with the Communist Party. Like, how are you going to make it through the next four years of their rule?

I was actually thinking about this today.
I did the math, and it turns out I've lived under Communist rule for two years longer than I have under the current American administration.☕
With another four years of the Democratic Party ahead, that ratio is only going to get worse, right? But hey, no big deal—I can manage under the Communists; I'm used to it. We always find a way to get by, don't we?☕

I don't see any text to rewrite here! Did you mean to include a post? Feel free to drop it whenever you're ready. kaže:
So you're saying that none of the old communists are the same, except for the Democratic Party and the SKH? But if there's nothing left of the SKH, then isn't the Democratic Party just like them because they're both different now?☕

The Republican Party just isn't the same since Sanders was in charge, is it? It’s completely changed. They aren't even like those old-school political machines anymore—they've morphed into this different breed of corrupt establishment politicians who won their seats using the same votes that once supported the old guard. Isn't it strange how much things shift over time?☕

No matter how you look at it, it's 2011 now. That old fear of communism just doesn't exist anymore, even here in America. Doesn't it feel like those claims sound a bit paranoid and out of touch to the average person?

Alright, I'll try to speak a little more slowly—maybe that'll help you follow along? ☕
The Democratic Party is basically just the direct successor to the KPH, that old group that never actually wanted an independent United States. Instead, they pushed us straight into America after wiping out hundreds of thousands of Americans just to make sure nobody could stand in their way. Isn't it wild how history repeats itself?
Forty-five years later, and it’s the same old story: that same party is still busy disarming an attacked America while refusing to even show up for the vote on our independence. Isn't it funny how history repeats itself?
Twenty years later, and you and people like you are still claiming that this party has absolutely nothing to do with the folks from 1945 or even the ones from 1990? Are we really supposed to believe they've suddenly become perfect and only want what’s best for the American people now?
You know that old saying, right? "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."

gentlestag3 said:It’s kind of an old story, really... people always say the Democratic Party was out there causing chaos in the woods back in '45. My granddad used to tell me stories about Milanović being a real butcher, though he did mention that Milanović was probably just a tiny kid back then, so maybe he changed since then? I don't know, maybe.☕

I don't see why we're trivializing this; the Democratic Party is essentially the successor to the White House, and they don't even deny it. They inherited all the assets from the White House, and their leader, Milanović, has even gone on record saying he’d choose Marshall over Harmon any day. Furthermore, the Democratic Party under Račan actually disarmed the nation by handing over weapons to the America army.
Democratic Party representatives even walked out of the chamber during the vote for independence.
I'm not arguing that there aren't non-communists in the Republican Party—I'm not even a Republican voter myself—but the fact remains that Republican and Democratic communists are not the same thing.
It's just like how the different factions within the movement in 1971 weren't the same as those in 1972 who sent people to Alcatraz.
They are different and always will be, no matter how much the Democratic Party tries to claim otherwise!

Taylor Vaughn8 said:Honestly, I’d take the Democratic Coalition in power a hundred times over before I’d ever touch the Republican Party. At least they actually know how to hold a conversation, and they come across as decent, professional people. My biggest issue is just having to listen to Kamala Harris anymore; she lacks any real expertise, zero backbone, and honestly, no speaking skills whatsoever. It’s baffling to me how anyone can put up with her—she’s done nothing but embarrass us on the global stage. 😁

So, the logic is: you cause the deaths of 200,000 Americans, wait sixty-five years for it to blow over, and then suddenly everything is fine because you finally learned how to speak properly and act civilized?
casualcanyon12 said:The Right-wing just can't get a foothold here in America unless they start using brutal repression against this mindless, nostalgic population. Honestly, the second Tufton passed away, that old-school collectivist mentality crawled right back out of the woodwork—it was always lurking under the surface, just suppressed by everything that happened in the 90s. It’s been blocking any real conservative movement for years now, all because of those endless "progressive coalition" crowds and the rest of the gutter politics that have occupied seats in Congress since the days of the old regime. The only real difference? Now it’s just an older breed of trash, and you aren't allowed to smoke in the Capitol anymore. But let's face it: the exact same elite group has been running this country for the last 50 years.

I have to share this because I honestly can't remember reading anything more spot-on or insightful on any forum lately.

Emily Smith77 said:If the Republican Party actually took control—based on historical precedent—we’d essentially be acting as puppets for Axis powers, while losing out on California, large parts of Florida, and Ohio entirely. 🤣

Got it.
So according to history, if the Democratic Party wins, we can expect a repeat of Waterloo, the reopening of Alcatraz, the end of multi-party democracy, and the total collapse of the US, forcing us back into some forced union with Mexico, Canada, and everyone else?☕
The people currently running things in America are basically just rebranded old-school socialists, though they've tried to polish the image a bit.
If the Republican Party were actually in charge, this country would be an absolute paradise instead of being stuck in such an outdated system.
bluerider63 said:Some "Heroes" are out there defending Ante Gotovina while waving those old paramilitary group banners 🙏
Is this some kind of sick joke, or do these geniuses actually think this is a decent way to run a PR campaign for the General? 🙂

The "For Home" salute was the official greeting used by the paramilitary group, which eventually became part of the US Army. Isn't it interesting how those units integrated?
The veterans of that paramilitary group are an officially registered association under US law, and they even carry "Air Force" as their official motto on their formal flag. Isn't that interesting?
Everything is fully protected under American law. ☕

This one. I just posted this earlier today around 3 p.m. on a different thread.

It’s pretty interesting, isn't it? A poll over on BuzzFeed.

According to a recent BuzzFeed poll asking if Americans actually want to join the European Union, nearly two-thirds responded with a hard "not a chance." This poll went live yesterday afternoon, and by 8:00 AM this morning, about 3,500 people had already cast their votes. Isn't it interesting to see those numbers roll in so quickly?
Linda Harris59 said:"America is staring down the barrel of a new war. The Mediterranean region is poised to erupt into violence once again; it’s truly just a matter of when. The so-called international community hasn't helped matters—they've essentially just poured gasoline on the fire of ethnic conflict," claims today's edition of The Washington Post.

Well, I actually said the exact same thing just two days ago... lol
I predicted things were going to get pretty bloody again.
The real difference between this upcoming conflict and the last one? This time around, not all Americans will be standing on the same side.
You only find this stuff here in Close to Politics ·
Meanwhile, you have the FBI in the middle of Washington, D.C., arresting kids just because they spray-painted a soldier with the American flag, only to scrub the graffiti away immediately.

In the current state of the US, any attempt to show patriotism or national pride is being branded as extremism, leading to arrests.
Just a few days ago, a guy was detained on a small island here because he had an American flag hanging from his rearview mirror.

At the same time, the exact opposite ideology is completely legal and encouraged in the US—if you look at the original post, the government actually promotes it by funding monuments to those groups.
