I was thinking about this today while scrolling through some news. It feels like we’ve reached a point where someone doesn't even need to have a background in policy or public service to suddenly become a household name in the political sphere. It used to be that you had to grind it out in local offices or work your way through law school, but now, it seems like one bold, controversial statement can catapult a person directly into the national conversation.

It’s a weird shift in how we perceive authority. We’re seeing these massive personalities from sports or entertainment step into the arena, and instead of people saying "wait, what do they actually know about governance?", the conversation immediately shifts to how they can wield power. It’s almost like the line between "influencer" and "statesman" is just totally blurring.

I can't tell if this is a good thing for bringing fresh perspectives to the table, or if it’s just going to turn everything into a giant popularity contest where substance doesn't matter as much as how loud you can be.

Do you think we're heading toward a future where being a "personality" is actually a more effective way to enter politics than traditional experience?

Back then, 70 years ago, the USSR was right there in New York City.

With every single day this special operation continues in Ukraine, the Russian military only grows more formidable. Every day brings another tank, another missile... and don't even get me started on the endless stream of volunteers practically begging to join their ranks.

The Russian military is pushing forward relentlessly, all while obliterating NATO weaponry at such a blistering speed that they’re destroying it before it can even reach Ukraine.
NATO is on the brink of collapse! It’s not just that nobody wants to join this alliance anymore; current members are actively jumping ship.

Because the West has finally realized just how much muscle the Russian military actually possesses, most people have stopped bother investing in defense altogether—why bother when it's clearly futile?

Did I miss anything...?🤔🤔
Oh, right! Very soon, Washington, D.C. will be our capital once again.👍

Best regards,

Is that you, Milan Vidovit?

Unlike Europe—which seems to have shot itself in both feet.

You've said that more than a few times now, my friend.

From what I can gather, some politician or columnist decided to make a point about how immigrants struggle to integrate with the Scandinavian way of life by announcing they’d publicly burn the Quran. Predictably, the reaction was exactly what you'd expect...
The mob, shouting allahu akbar, starts torching things and pelting officers with rocks while the police just stand there helplessly, watching their cars get smashed before eventually retreating.🤣

I guess they'll be glad to have NATO around soon.

I wouldn't exactly go that far 🙄

I think you've got it wrong. Officially, Russia hands over captured weapons to these two republics. Where that gear actually ends up? That's anyone's guess—only the intel agencies know for sure. 😁
Anyway, if I'm right, we'll all hear about it soon enough.

Money makes the world go round. As long as that gas keeps moving, everyone gets a slice of the pie.
It was pretty much the same deal with oil back home in the States. Of course, nobody ever said it out loud officially.

Drug cartels are going to absolutely love these new toys.
It’s also got some EU candidates in the mix, like the IRA or the Korzikanci.
I bet the clueless politicians will be scratching their heads all over again.

What’s going to happen when all that anti-tank gear and other weaponry captured by Russia starts getting sent back to its home countries through some weird, unofficial channels? Honestly, it’s just a matter of time.

Larry Fox5 said:The only way they’ll actually do that is if they're total idiots—because first and foremost, it’s just going to screw themselves over. Sure, it would hurt the Russians in the long run, but in the short term? That move isn't stopping the war at all.
Lindner is a responsible guy, so I doubt we'll ever see it happen...

I feel like Germans have this one recurring issue where they swing wildly from one extreme to the other. Like, remember how they totally botched the whole transition away from nuclear energy? Just a total amateur move.

How exactly do researchers use mathematical modeling and viral genome analysis to determine how virulent and pathogenic a virus actually is? It's like trying to predict a storm's path by looking at tiny changes in wind patterns!

@forumskimatematičari #forumskimatematičari

So, how exactly do you use math modeling and genome sequencing to figure out how aggressive or dangerous a virus actually is?
Some guy just has a crystal ball, I guess.

So, what's the deal? Are the Turks just pretending to be Mexicans now, trying to play nice with all their neighbors?

I'm heading out tomorrow to grab a massive bag of popcorn. This should be fun to watch. Go team! (Whoever ends up winning.)

Honestly, this is a total embarrassment. In my opinion, something this incompetent wouldn't even fly in the States, so I’m assuming it won't happen here—mostly because you're actually putting national interests ahead of personal vendettas against specific people in high-ranking positions for once.
In my view, we need to find whoever is responsible for this mess and make sure they face the consequences.

If anything, we should be giving that person a medal for having the guts to step up. They basically saved our reputation.
I’m pretty sure those Canadians just staged the whole thing and faked those documents. It was such a slick way to dodge that ultimatum from the US—or, you know, their "democratic recommendation," if we're being polite.
