Honestly, I thought I was done with superheroes a few years back, right around Kick-Ass. I haven't watched the new Spider-Man movies or the new Superman flicks either. I just skip whatever looks like total garbage. But hey, Marvel gave me some hope again. Personally, I dig the humor in these movies, but clearly you don't, which is probably where we clash. I'm not really into Nolan's Batman films, except for the first one. The other two are just pure pretension. It only got worse with Interstellar.

People will eventually get tired of it and move on to something else anyway. Doesn't matter to me. There will always be good movies out there, and nobody is forcing you to watch all this. I know for a fact I'd never watch TMNT.

And it's the same story for movie buffs. 😁

Persistence is really the defining characteristic of matter, isn't it? That non-material stuff tends to be fleeting by its very nature... though I suppose we can't apply the standard physical laws—you know, things involving mass, dimensions, and the like—directly to the psyche.
If physics represents the thesis and the psyche acts as the antithesis, then perhaps a human being is, quite simply, the synthesis. 🙂

Morality isn't something you can simply opt out of—it's not like it's a goal you strive toward or a tool you use as an argument.😁

You also have to consider the fact that what defines a human being is that we don't actually have any natural enemies. I mean, seriously—this guy is used to pulling in, say, $100 billion every single year. Then one year comes along where he only clears $90 billion instead of that usual hundred, and suddenly it’s all "Crisis! 🙂".
