Jacob White49 said:So, having tires 9 laps fresher and that blinking light on the back of the Ferrari didn't matter, huh?

Uhh, okay. So you're saying 15 laps of fresher rubber makes zero difference even with higher top speeds...
but somehow 9 laps of fresher rubber with lower top speed actually does make a difference...
I guess there's some kind of magic math happening with the number 9...
Nice logic there, ☕really nailed it.
What exactly is so funny about that?
All I see is a driver who, with his sheer driving talent, can actually push the car's top speed higher on the straights...
neonfox65 said:Look, he barely scraped that title in 2006, sure. But honestly, if it had been Schumacher, he would've barely scraped it too. What's the big deal? It just means the competition was insane. Winning a title against Schumacher isn't some small feat. Kimi fought him back in 2003 and couldn't pull it off. Alonso did it, and that's exactly what makes him a Maestro. 🙂

Vettel went toe-to-toe with Schumacher, Alonso, Hamilton, Kimi, and Button...
so fighting five champions doesn't make him a Maestro. Meanwhile, Alonso fought just one, and apparently, that's enough to earn the Maestro title. 😁

Nice logic there. Real brilliant stuff. 🤣
neonfox65 said:Alonso was out there driving a broken car and still making it work!

There’s a reason they call him Alonso. 😍

Honestly, that’s just phenomenal. 😁
Whenever anyone else's car dies, it's just bad luck. But the second the Maestro messes up against some random driver, suddenly we’re hearing all these wild conspiracy theories about mysterious mechanical failures...
Now I’m just waiting for the official statement confirming whether he was driving a car without wheels or just four flat tires.🤣
steelmaker83 said:Setting aside all the forum gossip for a second, I’m actually glad to see drivers fighting this hard over a meaningless 5th place, especially since neither of them gains anything for the championship right now.

The reason is obvious: both wanted that duel just for the prestige. Especially Sebastian Vettel, since it was practically an imperative for him...

The whole thing was ruined by the commentators—or rather, the director feeding the broadcast. Why? To trivialize the fight? What was the point? To make it look like Vettel loves to whine? We already know he does... It would have been better if they just let us watch the battle in silence, giving us that illusion of the old days when we didn't have to listen to all this... (which doesn't mean those drivers weren't whining back then either).

And one more thing: regarding the drivers complaining about every little thing—they aren't even the ones at fault. The FIA, with all its rules, constant nagging, and sheer stupidity, creates these situations, so naturally, the drivers end up whining.

When it comes to the complaining, the FIA is practically the only culprit here...
It hasn't happened once where someone got penalized just because someone else decided to moan...
Vettel still needs to master the art of complaining; he can whine as much as he wants and won't get a penalty...
But when an old pro starts grumbling, even Vettel gets punished personally, whereas a less famous driver might get off easy...

In the end, how many times have we listened to people whining whenever two drops of rain fall and someone decides a SC should come out...
While others, who don't want a SC, are busy screwing around and calling into the pits to get their slicks ready.🤣

All in all, it's just the usual political maneuvering and trying to squeeze something out of these messages...
The only problem with this circus is that the director uses it constantly just to pump up viewership, usually broadcasting it with a delay, which makes the messages look pathetic since they're conversations from two or three laps ago...
It wasn't just the last five, it was the last six...
not to mention he was faster back in 2008, and more than once at that.☕
darkmarlin16 said:A faster car, DRS, and newer tires. And he still struggled for about 10 laps on a track that isn't even Monaco.

Let's be real here. ☕

Why only Monaco...

Let's be honest, there are plenty of other tracks people could use to make up excuses...
neonfox65 said:Ferrari is the third-best team and Red Bull already has a win while Ferrari is still searching for one.

That’s exactly my point. I don't get why everyone's tripping.
1. Mercedes
2. Williams
3. Ferrari
4. Red Bull
5. FI
....

crimsonstag84 said:Ferrari will have a better car at Indianapolis, maybe even Spa-Francorchamps.

They were actually better in Austria and the United Kingdom. It's a whole different story when you consider how much those amateurs completely botched qualifying...
But let's be real, they had the third-best car.
Jason Campbell70 said:In a half-broken car, fighting someone two seconds faster who’s on nine-lap fresher tires, using DRS, and hitting an extra 9.3 miles mph on the straight.

Yeah— getting absolutely smoked, if you want to put it that way.

Why just "half-broken"?
Wouldn't it sound better if we said it was missing a few bucks worth of bolts, had a snapped suspension, no engine, no battery, no wheels, no brakes, and basically everything else 😍
?
We seriously need to start adding "World Champion" to his excuses.🤣
If nothing else, at least then Maestro would actually have ten titles under his belt.😁
neonfox65 said:It looks to me like you're reaching. 🙂What does Alonso have to do with Ricciardo's fraud scandal? Alonso is driving a car that sits third in the constructors' standings behind Red Bull, so obviously he's going to finish behind them.

Aside from the tiny detail that the Ferrari is actually faster than the Red Bull...
You're forgetting the fact that Kimi is in a complete mess and Ferrari is effectively the second strongest team on the grid.😁
neonfox65 said:Forget that whining from Tibija; Ricciardo’s just gonna slap him around. 😁

Is it true that Ricciardo's actually better?
It’s an objective fact: Vettel is having his absolute worst season in Formula 1 yet. He basically just drove through a race with nothing but atrocious tactics to back him up.
Even in a garbage season like this one, and after a total disaster of a race, he still manages to outshine the Maestro. 🤣

Honestly, even Vettel's worst day at the office is still better than the maestro's absolute peak.
Keep on complaining if it makes you feel better.🙂
So you finally realized your golden boy got played at the start by Kimi and then absolutely wrecked by Vettel 😲
Guess you finally opened your eyes 😲

I’m gonna go celebrate this with a massive pile of sodas😁
silentbadger17 said:You really should have been watching. Vettel managed to hold onto a top 5 finish, which honestly isn't exactly nothing. 😍

Honestly, seeing Mark Webber show up at the race again, I’m actually surprised his car didn't just give up on him. 🤣
First race where Webber was actually there without Vettel's Red Bull Racing getting even a tiny scratch on it.🤣
George Ramos15 said:What a race. Too bad Alonso messed up at the start. Incredible drive. Bottas was great too. In my book, he’s Driver of the Day. Richard was awesome as well. Honestly, the guy should just take a Super License already.

Right, so Alonso cheated at the start and earned his nickname "The Fraud"...
Truthfully, they should have disqualified him instead of handing out that pathetic 5-second penalty, but even so, that doesn't justify him getting a Super License.☕

Dammit, I missed half the race.🙂
And I didn't even record it.😵

Gotta go watch the replay.😳
steelmaker83 said:It’s not about the glasses, man...

Then what?🤣
Lewis Hamilton was clearly faster than Nico Rosberg, yet there was Rosberg whining on the team radio, practically begging Ross Brawn to let Hamilton settle in behind him. 😍

Of course he was.🤣
steelmaker83 said:That's obviously total nonsense, but I guess people forget... maybe because Nico kept it low-key and Ross was such a pro at handling things quietly behind the scenes?

Nico Rosberg supposedly asked Ross Brawn to make him the No. 2 driver and told him to order the other guy to move over for him.😵
Honestly, sometimes I wonder what kind of glasses you're wearing when you watch an F1 race.🤣
graniteharbor502 said:Who’s even mad at Lewis Hamilton??
As if his fame turned his brain to mush...

What’s actually news here?
Hamilton has always been this way—he makes massive mistakes, then tries to fix them by driving like a god in the next few races...
But we've known he cracks under pressure since his rookie year.

His main issue is that Nico Rosberg is a calm guy who doesn't fall for his little provocations and just diligently collects points instead of throwing tantrums every time Hamilton beats him.
And he definitely didn't cry about not being the designated number one driver...

Looking at the field, Alonso, Vettel, and maybe even Sergio Pérez seem like bigger threats to the title than Hamilton... Hamilton would probably just sabotage himself out of the championship race.
Though from what I can see, the others don't stand a chance because they aren't driving cars on the level of Germany, so this season belongs to Rosberg. I don't see anything stopping him from taking the title.🤷
Don't even go there, I actually put my money on Leclerc🤣
If he pulls this off, I'm buying a yacht😂
What a total mess with these penalties 🤣
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/114837

Pastor Maldonado getting slapped with a last-place start at 20th 🤣.
And then Gutierrez gets a 10-place penalty, dropping him to 19th despite qualifying 14th...
. 😵🤣
Honestly, I’m expecting nothing but a disaster from Red Bull...
Say, maybe if they used one of those sturdy Sebastian Vettel engines 🙂

Mark Webber is back at the race again 🙂
