Nancy Scott5 said:And how can you be sure he wasn't lapping someone?
I don't know why he pulled the trigger on the DRS, but my guess is he was trying to lap a car. If you're sure he wasn't, show me the proof.

He lapped someone in the first five laps of the race.🙏
Only a master could pull that off.🙏 🤣🤣🤣
shadowstag10 said:Personally, I think he just used the DRS on the straight while pulling past Rosberg—he used it to get the move done, and then it cut out halfway down the stretch before kicking back in once Rosberg reclaimed his spot a lap later.
I don't know if that makes sense or not, but if anyone can actually go back and watch that Alonso overtake on Rosberg, maybe they'll see why it looks like he pulled it behind Vettel, when really he just couldn't get it to stay on.

Yep, he popped it on just to defend against Di Resta.
Honestly, it's a miracle he didn't get a penalty for that.🙄
Jason Campbell70 said:Was Vettel permitted to use DRS during the last race?

A little more consistency and objectivity wouldn't hurt. ☕

Of course he was.☕
Alonso couldn't have used it in his wildest dreams since he wasn't even within a second of the guy ahead of him.🙄
Nancy Scott5 said:He didn't even manage to shut it off; the thing just stayed stuck open.
Fernando Alonso's race is basically cooked.

Of course there won't be a penalty for turning it on, because why would there be?🙄
He triggered the DRS when Vettel was the only one ahead by about three seconds...
Fine. If the FIA won't hand out a penalty, God will.☕
Jerry Rogers6 said:Seriously, just cover everything up in sixteen, for crying out loud 🤣

but he’s not even washed up yet—gross 👎

🤣🤣🤣

You saw how good I can be when I actually try.😍🤣

Andiamo Ferrari, vamos Fernando!

Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did.😁😍
So, when are they finally gonna penalize Fernando Alonso? 🍿
I honestly don't get how he's allowed to use DRS when he's still three seconds behind Sebastian Vettel. 🙄
Jason Campbell70 said:Michael Schumacher secured those titles during his first three seasons at Ferrari. ☕

Not really, but he was at least good enough to win things more often than not...

First three seasons...

Schumacher - 14 wins
Massa - 11 wins
Alonso - 9 wins
Barrichello - 5 wins

Like I said, Alonso landed right in that sweet spot between Massa and Barrichello 😁
Jason Campbell70 said:Michael Schumacher - Fernando Alonso.

A fair comparison.

Maybe on personality... but looking at the actual results at Ferrari, the Alonso - Barrichello or Alonso - Massa comparisons fit way better.☕

Driving the Ferrari:
Alonso:
Year 1 - 2nd place
Year 2 - 4th place
Year 3 - 2nd place

Barrichello:
Year 1 - 4th place
Year 2 - 3rd place
Year 3 - 2nd place

Massa:
Year 1 - 3rd place
Year 2 - 4th place
Year 3 - 2nd place

Although, let's be real, Alonso was slightly better than both of them...
darkmarlin16 said:I’m looking at a podium finish here, specifically 1st and 3rd, and honestly, anything less would just be a disappointment.

Only 3rd for Alonso?😁
Then what's the point🤷
Olivia Martin12 said:Look, instead of wasting your breath on this nonsense, you'd be better off switching over to ITV4.😉 http://www.btcc.net/pdf/ci_6.pdf Throw a +1 in there—the first one starts at 12:37, perfect for killing some time before Formula 1 kicks off.

BTCC
Race 1 - 12:37 - 13:17
Race 2 - 15:27 - 16:07
Race 3 - 18:15 - 18:55

Timers are already set up on the dashboard.😁
Converse26 said:Newbies? 🤣 Look, let me jump in here regarding the "Maestro." Don't get me wrong, he’s a great driver—undoubtedly one of the best—but people overhype him. I've been following F1 since 2005, back when he snatched that title at Renault against Kimi in the McLaren. That season was intense. 🙂 Honestly, we all know how his time at McLaren went with Hamdi; just pure drama, crying, and sabotage. Basically Vettel 2.0. 🤣 I'm expecting a pile of stones thrown my way, but please, go easy on the rookies. 😍

Same here.🙄
We'll never see that kind of character in F1 again, now or ever... people act like Schumacher was some saint compared to Alonso.☕

It’s officially kicking off—every man for himself, goddammit. 🙄🤣🤣

I told you all ages ago that this supposed maestro deserves three rolls of toilet paper, not two.😉
Basically: "🤣🤣🤣"

If only the new guys had actually learned anything by now.😍
Brian Campbell36 said:Yes, he finished third entirely by design... perhaps as a way to settle the score from the Malaysian GP... he overtakes him right at the start, and then, in that first right-hand turn, he deliberately brakes until his finger is left without a wing.☕

Beyond being a genius, the maestro is a remarkably intelligent human being—unlike 🙂 Finger... whom even his own teammate finds irritating (especially when he won't call the pit wall to let him through), because apparently, he is the designated number one, with a specific clause in his contract stating that if things get complicated, he can trigger Plan Multi 21, which has worked perfectly so far.

The owl mocked the shadow for having a big head. ☕
Kmečko 🙂 this is ridiculous....please, just shut up and stop embarrassing yourself.🤦
darkmarlin16 said:If you were actually thinking about Kartikeyan, then 🤦

everyone else here is just talking total nonsense 🤣

Look, if people claim he could've had a seat at Red Bull Racing before, then sure, he can handle a Ferrari this year too. 😛🤣
Ashley Ramirez4 said:Tbf1, you're saying the guy used up all his sets, which might give Vettel an edge. I don't know, maybe—there's a chance Ferrari did that on purpose. If we look back at last year, Ferrari struggled right after their pit stops. People were saying they couldn't get the tires up to temperature, but what if it was actually just the initial surface layer? Like, maybe there's such a massive gap in how fast the rubber wears down that Red Bull hits that optimal "working" layer almost immediately, while Ferrari needs like three laps to get there. And honestly, it doesn't look like tire durability is even their issue this time.

Oh yeah, sure. The maestro is a total genius who obviously braked like an amateur just to ruin his tire sets, intentionally botched that final flyer, and purposefully finished third even though he had a car so fast he could have taken pole from even a Kartikeyan...
The maestro is just so brilliant that everything he does is purely intentional.😍

Honestly, sometimes I wonder why I'm one of the few people left on this forum reading all this nonsense about the maestro.😵
Maybe it's finally time for me to bail too, regardless of who's left from the old guard...
Raymond Anderson4 said:If Fernando ends up ahead of Seb after the first lap, you can pretty much forget about winning on those tires. Fernando will likely drive a bit more conservatively, which would just slow Seb down and reset the whole race dynamic.
Plus, Alonso gets the clean side of the grid, and considering how dusty the track environment is, that could really impact the start.
It’s entirely possible that Seb finds himself behind Massa right after the first corner, and if that happens, any hope for a win is basically gone. 😁

Like I said, it all comes down to the start... but unfortunately for me, Ferrari looks like the absolute powerhouse on this grid.😢
We'll see, though. Hope dies last.😁
Jason Campbell70 said:**Quote : The Best F1**

Seriously, did you miss how close Caterham came to slamming right into RB?🙄>
Nathan Jones98 said:can't wait for race day
Mercedes looks way too soft to hold onto P1, and RB just eats through their tires too fast
if things go smooth at the start, anything other than a 1-2 for Ferrari would be a total disaster

It all comes down to the start...
Otherwise, RB wouldn't stand a chance if Alonso hadn't completely botched qualifying. There's no way they stay ahead of Vettel on track once those worn tires kick in and we factor in those 3 extra laps...
That said, RB has a solid shot if they can just hold off Ferraria at the launch...
Ideally, they'd jump Rosberg at the start and slot right in between him and Alonso... though that’s a massive ask given how insane Ferrari's start looks.😢

Though Massa could easily snatch P1 after the pit stops😳
I'm dying to see how Ferrari handles this. Will Massa just hand the position over to Alonso like a good boy?
Jason Campbell70 said:Just brutal. ☕

Maybe start watching the practice sessions...🙄
Massa clocked the fastest time on hard tires during FP3, then went straight into race simulations. Vettel just set his pace on the hards and didn't even bother finishing that last lap on the medium.☕
