Raymond Anderson4 said:Wait, are you telling me both of Alonso's laps in Q3 were actually on used tires?

Not the first (and only timed one) which was on used rubber from Q2, and the second was on new tires that he absolutely wrecked while braking... they aren't totally trashed, but they definitely aren't fresh anymore...
I’m dying to know what Ferrari is thinking, keeping Massa behind Alonso.🤣
They basically sent him out on full wets for that second stint.😬

Otherwise, the maestro completely blew his podium chances with that "masterful" lap in Q3.🙏
He's the only one starting on Q2 tires that have already done six laps (two flying, two in, two out), and besides that, he's only got two fresh sets of hard tires left...😁
One set of mediums was absolutely shredded in Q3.😁Though I'm not entirely sure if there's one more fresh set tucked away somewhere.🤷

On the flip side, Massa looks dangerous. He's either starting on Hards or he's got fresh sets of both Hards and mediums ready to go.😳

And then there's Vettelko 3 with three new sets of Hards and two sets of mediums that's only seen a single flying lap.🙂

Rosberg is going to cook his tires regardless, so we're looking at a podium battle of Vettel vs Massa vs Webber... even though both Force India cars look incredibly sharp.👍
Joseph Flores15 said:Why is this constant lying being tolerated?😕

Lying? What are you talking about?
Vettel actually clocked that time on hard tires during FP3.☕
He didn't finish that last lap on mediums because some snail nearly rear-ended him...
Brian Campbell36 said:What on earth is going on with Massa? Being +0.702 behind his own teammate is an absolute disaster. 🤷

Watching those soda cans trail behind Fernando is an indescribable sensation... while Mark is barely making any headway due to that penalty.

It's pretty straightforward: Alonso clocked his time on mediums, while Vettel and Massa were stuck on hards...😉
Does anyone actually have a logical explanation for what happened to this car?😵

image
The suspension is clearly snapped...

And the tire looks absolutely trashed.😲

The craziest part is that it all went down on the straight, and not even at some insane high speed. The real question is: did the suspension snap and wreck the tire, or did the tire blow first and take the suspension out with it?🤷

I don't sit here questioning whether he actually has the pace to drive; what I know for certain is that he is going to secure his 39th career pole position today.☕
The real question remains: will FA actually maintain their position on the track, or are we about to watch them spin out aimlessly, much like Massa did during that rain-soaked session?😁

Every single post he makes is just another display of his misguided convictions... let us wait and see if mere guesswork can actually outperform the maestro. ☕

If you decide to play this game, you’re heading straight for a massive disaster—not just for your reputation, but for your credibility and everything else you stand for. If that happens, I will be watching very closely to see what kind of excuses you come up with then.

As if a limenka and a finger are actually going to care whether I'm wrong or not🤣
Even I won't sweat it, let alone them😂

But since you're bringing up all this drama, I finally get why some people call themselves "red"🤣
Amanda Kelly said:Of course, the whole thing is completely upside down.
You're convinced they'll take the championship, yet you don't even know if your favorite driver will make it into Q3 today, or if he'll manage to save his tires, or if his brakes will just give out at the end of the straight...
I find it funny. Really funny. Everything except the qualifying sessions.

Ferrari is chasing the title and they have nothing to lose. They're still climbing.
Red Bull, at least in my book, has everything to lose. They're defending what they already have. Breaking a massive winning streak wouldn't sit too well with the owners or the fans.

And now, look at that—Ferrari is actually starting off surprisingly strong. It was easy enough to win when you were driving a total wreck. Then you've got a resurfacing Lotus to deal with. Even Mercedes isn't something to sneeze at with Lewis behind the wheel.
I can see the era of dominance ending. Thank God for that.

It's not about whether he'll drive, it's about knowing he's hitting pole number 39 today.☕
The real question is whether FA stays on the track or ends up spinning in circles like Massa did in the rain.😁

rikverc maestro P. S.🙏 🙏 🙏

P.S. Get some footage of those packed stands. 🤣
shadowstag10 said:I don't know how you aren't bored to death yet,🤷

either put some money on it in your profile if you're so sure, or just admit you're just trolling? 🙂

Sorry, but bets in avatars or signatures have always seemed pretty pathetic to me...
Fine, make it a round of beers or some takeout if you really want to go there.🙂
Amanda Kelly said:Right. For anyone who just hates Ferrari, it’s a total win-win-win... situation.
All this extra noise is just a sign of fear.

Fear?🤣
Look, Amanda Kelly, personally I never actually bought into the idea of Vettel winning a title this season—not even back in 2011 literal.🤣
It’s honestly hilarious watching Ferrari actually have a great car and seeing you all finally agree it isn't a complete piece of junk, yet somehow I know by the end of the season everyone will be scrambling to invent excuses for why things didn't work out anyway...😁
placidfalcon14 said:So, if last year we saw... It’s basically like being stuck in a car. If he had actually relied on his own talent to stay in the championship hunt right up until those final few laps of the season, he’d be in a completely different position this year. It’s ten times better. Honestly, there’s just no comparison. He really should have cruised to that win with a much more comfortable cushion in the points.

Look, there’s really no way to sugarcoat it: if you don't walk away with the championship, you simply failed. There aren't any excuses left to make, because at the end of the day, if you haven't secured that title, then... maestro Turns out he’s not exactly the maestro after all.

Olivia Martin12 said:Word on the street is McLaren would practically throw themselves into a street fight just to sniff the air in Q3. That's The spirit nego biti gledati ☕

Anyway, did you catch that absolute genius Michel 🙏
What a total mastermind 🤣

saying, "we could actually be faster than Red Bull, but we just decided against it." 🤣😂
He was talking about pit stop speed, sure, but I wouldn't bet a dime he wasn't thinking the exact same thing about the car's pace 😬

Bottom line: once you dump this nightmare, you'll skyrocket. I just don't get why on earth Denis is still putting up with him, let alone why he brought him on in the first place 🤷
Amanda Kelly said:Panic? Really?
Fernando's either taking first or second.
A vet? Now that’s the real question. I honestly don't know what's going to happen if the poor guy doesn't snag a spot on the front row. Who's even going to be pulling him into the pits this time?

Don't panic, dear Amanda Kelly, don't panic.😁
The whole point is that Fernando is probably going to end up without titles or a winning streak again...
As for the penalty for that lowlife at LDM, Kimi is going to absolutely tear him apart all season long. So, think about how smart it was to trade a diamond for cheap costume jewelry.😬

Regarding why everyone is stressing over the vet—the kid could drive 96 races purely as a tourist in a Marussia just sightseeing the crowd... but even then, based on total titles in his first 200 races/first 11 seasons, he’s still better than Fernando.😍
Panic, anyone? 🤣
There’s no way Fernando won't crack the top ten... hopefully. 😬😈🤣
Holy crap... Bottas actually beat Hamilton 🙂🤣

If you're keeping track, the only thing that matters is that Massa finished ahead of his "star" teammate, who's honestly just riding his coattails😁
And yeah, Vettel stayed right where he belongs—firmly ahead of Webber☕
Sam Roberts8 said:Nice stats, man.😁
Maybe Alonso and Massa can just crush Red Bull.

And for that Red Bull fan here, JUST FACE IT, RED BULL IS WEAKER THAN FERRARI .

I see you're new here. 🙂
I already told your buddies the same thing four years ago, so I guess I'll just say it again for you.🙂
Ferrari isn't going to touch Vettel this decade—and that means they aren't catching Red Bull as long as he's behind the wheel, either. Not even once.☕

The sooner you accept it, the easier it'll be.🙂
steelmaker83 said:So I've reached my conclusion: he's twice the driver this season compared to last.

When did I ever say that?

As far as I remember, last year, the year before, and so on, everyone was singing praises about how Alonso's pace was 0.6 seconds faster per lap. Honestly, it actually surprises me that it's dropped to just 0.3.🤷

Samuel Ruiz4 said:Looking at the standings after those first three races in 2012 and 2013... Lotus is definitely on the upswing. At least once Romain starts driving like he actually knows what he's doing...
In Bahrain, if you ask me, there’s really only one question worth asking: Alonso or Kimi?

1 Lewis Hamilton 45
2 Jenson Button 43
3 Fernando Alonso 37
4 Mark Webber 36
5 Sebastian Vettel 28

1 McLaren-Mercedes 88
2 Red Bull-Renault 64
3 Ferrari 37
4 Sauber-Ferrari 31
5 Mercedes 26

2013

1 Sebastian Vettel 52
2 Kimi Räikkönen 49
3 Fernando Alonso 43
4 Lewis Hamilton 40
5 Felipe Massa 30

1 Red Bull-Renault 78
2 Ferrari 73
3 Lotus-Renault 60
4 Mercedes 52
5 McLaren-Mercedes 14

Interesting...
Last year, Alonso was sitting on a 9-point lead. This year? He’s trailing Vettel by 9. Funny how that works.😁

Funny how that works. Last year Ferrari was a total joke, but this year? They’re an absolute beast. 😵🤔😍
Amy Castillo4 said:You clearly didn't account for those three tenths Alonso pulls out of thin air through pure driving talent.😁

Goddammit😢
How on earth did Alonso get twice as bad this season compared to before? 😢
Drew Bennett68 said:Is there anything official out there yet?

This is basically everything I've managed to dig up.

http://www.gpupdate.net/en/f1-news/2...-friday-tyres/

If the BBC says it, you can take it to the bank. 😉

Besides, ESPN is reporting it too...
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/f...120302640.html

They're being pretty cagey about it. They don't want to look like idiots on the national news if they're wrong.😁
steelmaker83 said:Yeah, because Ferrari was just so incredibly fast on those Softs...

It’s not even about that. The reality is Red Bull and Mercedes are miles ahead right now specifically on the Hard-Medium combo. 😉
Basically, they're killing it there and that combo isn't screwing them over nearly as much. 😉
nimblesurfer17 mentioned that Pirelli officially confirmed they're ditching the Soft tires because they clearly suck. 😁
