Arthur Doyle70 said:Honestly, I think we’re looking at next year. That KERS setup is just pure chaos. 🤣🤣 Not necessarily great on their own, nor is the team. 😁 I mean, let's be real—Mercedes was the one that actually nailed the KERS system last year.

Still waiting for that Williams comeback in F1... any day now.☕

So, Mercedes or McLaren? Tough call.😁

I’m really not convinced Mercedes is going to see any real benefit from this. McLaren? Sure, maybe. But Mercedes? Hard to see it happening. If I’m reading the situation right, the issue isn't actually developing the KERS system itself. The real headache is finding a way to package it inside the car without adding massive weight. Fitting that stuff in isn't exactly a walk in the park, especially since they barely have any testing time to work with.

Interesting. Either Charles is lying through his teeth to save face, or Ferrari is lying to us when they claim Alonso isn't running circles around them.🤣

Honestly, it’s just a bunch of nonsense. Total garbage, if you ask me.☕

Joshua Newman2 said:Rumor has it Buemi is on Renault's radar, and we already know he could land a seat at Red Bull. He’s become pretty high in demand, so he isn't just signing with STR. Might be a mistake if he blows all his options by being too picky...

Look, he's better than Petrov since STR is noticeably worse than Renault. Buemi actually has more points than Petrov, and way more than Hulkenberg. Plus, Williams is basically better than STR right now. 😉

The kid wants a better car. Seems like a smart move to me. 👍

And honestly, who knows how good STR or even RB will be next season? 😉

I've got a feeling the top dogs next year will be McLaren, Ferrari, Renault, and Williams—not necessarily in that order. I can see KERS absolutely wrecking the rest of the grid. 🤷

🤣

ToroRosso claims they inked a deal with Buemi, but he’s calling bullshit.🤣

Looks like Buemi is just sitting around waiting for Webber's contract to fall through. 😬

could be. Same attitude, honestly.🤣

Banaj screws them over every single race, then they have the nerve to complain.😬🤣

You think there are bots on here?🤷

Could be. But it would have to be someone with terrible grammar. Google Translate usually makes everything sound super weird.😬

Come on... show some respect for your elders... 🙂

Look, I haven't even hit ten races yet. I've still got plenty of tricks up my sleeve, and honestly, I'm feeling better than ever. 🙂

I couldn't feel any better if I tried.😳

Theoretically, Vettel could have grabbed 7 championships. But in reality, only Michael Schumacher pulled that off. ☕

Exactly, you know that old saying about seven fat cows and seven skinny ones? 🧐

The cows were fat, now it's time for the skinny ones. 😁

But hey, don't get mad. 🙂

Gotta poke the bear a little. Alonsoljubac isn't here, Hamilton didn't do anything wrong, Webber and Vettel are probably fighting somewhere else—honestly, it's all pretty boring. 👎
Alonso messed up the whole team; since he didn't even complain about the stewards' decision 🙂 we've got nothing left to argue about. 😢

Ron Dennis snuck up on Edie Jordan while she was interviewing Horner for the BBC, yanked his mic wires, and just walked off laughing like a jerk. Jordan lost it and actually wanted to sue Dennis through the BBC.

And people wonder why this sport is such a circus. 😂 🤣

🤣God bless him 🙏🙏🙏

redheron12 said:Look, old man, you know what the word "theory" actually means, right?

Yeah, I know.🤣
It works like this:
Theoretically, Chandok could be a champion. Theoretically, it could even be Yamamoto. A theoretical champion could be Ralf Schumacher or David Coulthard.
But Grandpa won't even admit to a theory.😬
2010 British GP - Silverstone (July 11) in Formula 1 ·
redheron12 said:Theoretically, Elizabeth Hughes could just disqualify every single team, strip their points, and crown Schumacher the winner of every race this season. 🤷

Not even that would work.🤣

Even if they DQ everyone else, Rosberg still walks away as champion. 😬

How are you going to disqualify Mercedes without disqualifying Schumacher too? 😬

Even in theory, it's basically impossible.😁
2010 British GP - Silverstone (July 11) in Formula 1 ·
Austin Evans said:Aha. Theoretically, even Schumacher could become champion. 😁

Not even in theory.🤣

36 + 9x25 = 36 + 225 = 261

Hamilton 145 + 9x15 = 145+135 = 280 😬

So even if he wins every single race from here on out, it’s highly doubtful he takes the title. 🤣

And if we actually see five or six races like the USA GP happen? 🤣 I just don't buy it.😂

Q: Another runner-up finish, bringing you to 86 points out of a possible 100 over the last four races. Not a bad run, right?
Lewis Hamilton: Whoa, 86 out of 100?

🤣caught him off guard🤣

Honestly, it caught me off guard too. I never would have guessed the percentage was that high, or that Hamilton would be this dominant with McLaren.😲

When someone first mentioned this to me over coffee, I would've literally said, "You're crazy."🤣

But you have to hand it to him—he's had an incredible run of late. Still, it just proves nothing is settled yet. Everything can flip in a heartbeat, if you ask me.☕

Looking at the last four races, Hamilton is leading Vettel by 24 points. Before that stretch, he was trailing by 19. That means he clawed back 43 points in just four races.😳

It's not like Alonso is stupid or anything; he could legitimately become champion.😳

Interesting read. I dig it. 👍

Webber's basically backtracking. Looks like he got chewed out. 😬

Alonso cut the chicane—he got the penalty he deserved.

I don't get why people are making this such a big deal. The second I saw what happened, I thought, "Heh, now he’s gonna have to return position." I’ll admit, there was a little bit of malice in that "heh" because I'm not exactly an Alonso fan, but even if I loved the guy, the fact remains: he had to give it back. We all know it, even if some people try to dodge the truth with endless excuses.

If Kubica had gone off track like Alonso did—even by just three centimeters—there probably wouldn't have been a penalty. In that scenario, they both would've been off, so there's no "unfair advantage" to talk about. I put a link above to a similar situation.

There’s no way Alonso could have known what was happening. He can't see the whole mess unfolding; he just sees whatever tiny bit of info shows up in his mirrors. You can't really blame him for that. But you *can* blame Ferrari. As a team, they saw the whole picture. If they got a warning, they shouldn't have had any doubt at all. They should have just said, "Return position," loud and clear. Why they didn't, I honestly have no clue.🤷

Roger Wright94 said:What exactly did Schumacher do when he overtook Vettel?

What Webber didn't do in 🤣Turkey🤣 🤣

Bottom line: look, you can be a jerk if you want, but it's not a crime.

And apparently, it's not even punishable.

cosmicridge5 said:You both have a point 😁 Blaž actually said that, I remember it too 😁 but Mark Webber didn't end up lapping him; they called him into the pits to prevent that 🤣 😁

Keep it down, he’s actually good. That guy from ESPN (or maybe it was Blaž, kill me, I can't remember anymore 🤣) decided around lap 45 that Webber had spun off and just started screaming like a lunatic 🤣

He mixed up Alguersari's and Webber's names a bit 🤣

Anyway, that's probably the only thing Red Bull did right during that whole mess 🤣

Trulli, Kov, and the rest of the crew basically cleared out of the way when Vettel charged through with Webber right behind him, mostly because the officials were waving blue flags, obviously

Though, who knows, maybe it was just a coincidence 🤣

I mean, Webber had to pit in that 17th lap anyway It made sense to tuck in right behind Lewis Hamilton. If he’d waited a few more laps, he would've been absolutely screwed by the SC, and probably ended up finishing like Alonso 😉

Ferrari said:sI mean, I bet Fettel didn't have exactly a great time at the start. When exactly did Webber lap him?

So you're actually claiming he passed him? ☕

Nicole Reyes97 said:Look, stormybadger8, what part of this are you struggling to wrap your head around? 😕 At the start of the race, right around those pit entry turns while Fettel was looking convincingly dead last, Webber started closing in on Vettel, and I know for a fact that... Blazic weighed in. How exactly is Webber going to lap his own teammate? ☕ I'm not that crazy. ☕️
I don't care what you're on. I know exactly what I saw.
PS: Maybe you should just go grab a Beer and chill out ;)

And you somehow manage to find someone worth listening to.🤣😂😂

Webber didn't manage to lap Vettel even once during the entire race.🙄

So, does that mean Vettel would’ve had to be freaking lightning on the track—like, 3 to 5 seconds faster per lap than Webber—just to catch up to the same lap?🤣

That wouldn't just be brilliant—it would be legendary. We're talking cosmic, god-tier, absolute perfection. It’d be the greatest drive in Formula 1 history, leaving Alonso looking like a complete amateur hiding in a hole.🤣🤣

And when Webber lapped Vettel... 🤣

so then you think Vettel lapped Webber back? 🤷

Which race were you even watching? Even after a few Beer, I'm not this confused. 😬 🤣

PS, we're in the wrong thread anyway, so we're all just lost. 😬
