Alonso 🙏

is definitely the most blunt guy when he speaks. 🙏

He's got some interesting takes on those supersoft tires... predicting they'll have to be swapped after just 5 or 6 laps and that at one point they'll be up to 6 seconds slower than the prime tires. 😁

Here's the translation 😉

Seriously unbelievable. 😲 Totally normal, rational thinking from Alonso there. 😬 I mean, this tire situation is pure stupidity. ☕

Instead of getting more speed and grip from Slick's, the geniuses managed to screw that up too. 🙄 It's a complete disaster. All they need to do now is let Bernie and Max decide to put wooden wheels on the F1 cars. 🙄

hollowhawk412 said:Word on the street is General Motors might already have their own version of a double Diffuser...

By the way, both Red Bull and General Motors are claiming they pitched a similar diffuser concept to the NASCAR officials, only to be told it was illegal.

Who knows who's actually telling the truth at this point? 🤷

Welcome back.🙂

This stuff was being discussed ages ago. Honestly, I haven't a clue what the smart explanation for it even is.🤷

But hey, they probably were working on something along those lines anyway, so logically, adapting it should be a bit easier for them, right? Or maybe not.😕

If they ban diffusers, we’re all screwed. Ferrari, here I come.👍

And why on earth do you think Ferrari could actually outpace BMW, Red Bull, Toyota, or Williams if they don't have a difuzor? You really think they're faster than Brawn GP without one?☕ I’m not entirely convinced that the DD diffuser is such a massive game-changer on its own. Sure, it’s an advantage, but I don't see these three teams suddenly falling behind Force India because of it. They might slip a couple of spots in the standings, but even with that dip, they'll still be sitting comfortably ahead of Ferrari and MCM. ☕

It would be a massive win for Ferrari and MCM if they just made diffusers legal again. If they could design their own, they might actually stand a chance at catching up to some of these other teams. Honestly, given their budget and sheer manpower, it should be the easiest thing in the world for them to pull off.☕

Don't sweat it, I'll just have Kimi1 lend me a couple of vodkas😬😁

So there's zero issue😎 1-2 Red Bulls☕

I'm calling it now: expect one or two Red Bull wins 😍☕

Hey, can someone just lock this thread already? This stuff has absolutely nothing to do with Vietnam anymore; it’s turned into pure spam 🙈 Shut it down while you still can 😁

Czech... yeah, now we're talking. That's the nectar. 🙂

Of course I mean the Czech Republic 🙂 what else would you think? You act like I don't know 😲 where 😱

But whatever. The main thing is this should be great advertising. Instead of sending us vouchers for digital TV receivers, I wish the local networks would just ship a case of quality beer with an F1 logo on it straight to our houses. 😬

"I need a Budweiser! Please, come on! A Budweiser! Other than that, I can't drink anything!"

"Felipe, baby, stay cool! We're bringing you the Budweiser, stay cool!"

-Stay cool. Drink Budweiser!-

🙏🙏🙏🙏 Really good beer 😬 and it would make for a great ad 👍 you've got a big plus from me 😁

Frank Collins85 said:🙏 That was easily the highlight of the entire broadcast from Washington, D.C. today... Honestly, if they hadn't pushed the schedule back by three hours, we would have been racing on a dry track. No darkness, no red flags, just pure racing...

And it wasn't just that. This could've been one of the best races in years—just absolute madness. Constant overtaking, Alonso and Mark Webber trading paint and positions for an entire lap straight on😲. Behind them, it was total chaos. Timo Glock, Mark Webber, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton—everyone was slicing through the field. It was insane. And then everything goes to hell because of some ridiculous move by Bernie. That commentator hit the nail on the head, though, wondering if we'd even be counting Butonov's win in Washington, D.C. if we were playing by Bernie's rules🙄.

I just hope his wife strips him down to his Underwear. Leave him with nothing left to spend on a single race or meeting. Maybe they can cut off his Telephone service too since he won't pay the bills. Just get him out of here. I hope he takes 🙄Max Verstappen☕ with him, too. They can both just disappear to some deserted island and stay lost forever.

Gary Palmer8 said:Heh... maybe... though if he can't even finish a shortened race, I'm not seeing much "dominance" happening anytime soon. 🤣

🤣Interesting observation.😬

But they're still 1.5 times better than Ferraria. 🤣

For now, at least, until half the grid gets disqualified from today's standings. 🙄

Sebastian Vettel: Retired - Honestly, not much to say. I was running intermediates, but they were basically shot since it hadn't rained much before the sky just opened up. I was coming into Turn seven when the standing water hit, and I was playing it safe. Then I hit an aquaplaning patch and the car just went. Nothing I could do about it—just way too much water and my tires weren't built for that. Usually, a spin isn't the end of the world, but the anti-stall failed me. If that had worked, I would've just spun, lost a few seconds, and kept going. Back in the day, drivers had three pedals—throttle, brake, and a clutch—so when you started spinning, you actually knew how to handle it. Now, it’s out of our hands. It sucks having to retire because of a technicality like that.

🙏🙏🙏 Those were the lap times 🙏 total bummer that stuff doesn't exist anymore 😢

Is there gonna be a replay of the race or does anyone have a link somewhere? I watched everything right up until the red flag, but I skipped that total garbage at the end. I'm dying to know what kind of mess Blažičko and Novak were getting into and how the whole thing actually went down. Anyone know where I can download it? 🙂

Hope dies last🙄 if you don't win the next race, you'll just claim we'll win the one after that😁

With those diffusers they're running, I doubt Red Bull can even grab a win... but if the FIA bans them, anything could happen. Right now, Red Bull looks like the best of the bunch not using those controversial diffusers... which isn't great news for anyone else☕

Red Bull already has a new diffuser ready 😍—a little birdie told me the FIA is still deciding😉

Then you're all toast. No matter how you look at it, after China following dominance, it’s just going to be Red Bull and Vettel ruling the roost☕

No beer for me today, guys. Better luck next time. 🤣

😁 Great. Everything just went sideways, and I couldn't make it 🤣 so we’re definitely winning the next race 👋 I just hope the FIA doesn't go after Vettel again 🙂 who knows what they'll dream up this time—maybe they'll fine him for stepping on some flowers by the track 🙄

What if a driver just ignores the black flag and refuses to pit?
Is there some kind of Formula 1 police force that would intercept them, or would they just set up roadblocks on the track?
That’s what’s bugging me right now.

☕

In that case, they'd just send Takumi Sato out in a Brawn GP car with 500 HP of KERS, and he’d definitely catapult him right off the track😬 because collateral damage along the way isn't part of the plan.🤣

I officially checked out after that Sebastian Vettel spin 😢 This FIA is an absolute joke 👎 I honestly have no clue how they came up with this final standing. Nobody knows where anyone was or what lap time they even decided to count 🙄 When the race was red-flagged, the top six were all OUT, so how on earth do we suddenly have 18 cars in the standings? 🤷 I seriously don't get the logic behind the results or the points distribution. They should just rerun the whole damn race and call it a day; this is a complete embarrassment 🙂 Bernie really screwed us all over. Seriously, screw them—enjoy your little races at 5:00 PM 🙄 A total fiasco and a disgrace 👎 Now I’m just waiting for them to hand out penalties to every single team because they couldn't be bothered to mount the reflectors on the drivers' helmets 🙄

Morgan Murphy7 said:Which qualifying session moved the race from 8 to 11 AM?

😕😍

Honestly, I’d rather they just 👎 moved it to 6 AM. 😬 This waiting is driving me nuts. I live for those early starts around 7 or 8—wake up, grab a coffee, then watch the race. 🙏🙏🙏 If it stays at 11, I’ll probably just pace around the house nervously until kickoff. 😬
