hollowhawk412 said:Objectively speaking... Hamilton was the real winner there. He finally stayed cool and didn't just charge at Rosberg.

BTW, what's the deal with Ferrari? If I were in Mason's shoes, I would've taken a hammer to them.

They basically handed him 20 points on a silver platter... Valencia and Singapore...

But hey, they still control their own destiny...

If the weather holds up (and you guys clearly read that part), Massa is the favorite for the last three races

even after losing those points.
because if it stays hot, Ferrari might actually pull it off.
Everything's in God's hands now.

Kimi just can't get those tires up to temp for qualifying, and then he just makes mistake after mistake during the race. Dammit, grit doesn't help when the car isn't working.

🤣Come on, hollowhawk412, what's your problem? Just admit you'd already finished a six-pack before typing this.😂

Hamilton is trailing Kimi by just 3 points.😉
Massin Place has 10
while Kubik is sitting on 23.

That’s assuming Kimi actually pulls off all three wins.☕

But let's be real—this time around, Kimi doesn't stand a chance.

Honestly, SC should get a 10-place grid penalty for this.🤣🤣

🤔 ,looks like a public road right next to the track😕 or do you seriously think one of the staff🤷 who knows how much of a fine they got from NASCAR 🤣🤣🤣

Reminds me of those Square Dance competitions—pulling on ropes? Yeah, they wouldn't stand a chance there either.🤣🤣

And did you catch that? This guy is filming Massu from an Automobile 😲 even though he’s not even ten feet away. 😲😲

John Bennett4 said:Ferrari needs to install proximity sensors on their cars and give them to every mechanic. That way, the car won't even start if someone is within 10 feet of it.

And they should probably give one to Massu too, so the car stays dead while that clown is still inside.

The car can't be *quite* as brainless as Massu is, though—it’s still running on McLaren electronics under that red paint.

🤣🤣 Respect 🙏🙏🙏

Unless I'm mistaken, I'm starting to think you're my clone.😂

fadedpanther4 said:If the guy you're talking about was driving the Massin Place car... I mean, if he were in Massin Place today... where do you think he'd actually finish?

Give me a break. It’s not like everyone out there is driving like an absolute idiot. 😉

🙄 Real pros actually know how to use a rearview mirror. 😉 If you're already convinced the crew is incompetent, check it first. Don't just stall out like Coltard—or worse, sit there blocking the exit like some amateur waiting for someone to come run out and help.🙄

hollowhawk412 said:Calling it "masterful" is an understatement... looks like his fastest lap was about a second and a half off the Ferrari's pace... but Renault is struggling this year... especially when it gets hot, the Ferrari is damn hard to catch... so Blazic was right when he said the guy drove masterfully... just look at his stint times and you'll see he was consistently fast

I’m stoked Alonso won, and congrats to you too👍, but don't take this the wrong way—if it weren't for those stupid penalties, Alonso would've finished 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th. I mean, damn, the BMW was fast, but first they docked Heidfeld three spots on the grid, and then there was that whole idiot situation with the pit lane penalties🙄 Honestly, Rosberg would have left him 40 seconds behind without that penalty😉 and if anyone actually drove a masterful race, it was Nico🙏🙏🙏 plus, Kubica would've been ahead of Alonso even if they'd called him into the pits immediately; instead, he's stuck circling the track two or three slow laps behind Fisica and still gets penalized. If he'd just pulled the trigger like Rosberg and gone straight in, he would've been up front building a gap to negate the penalty

Alonso always drives on the absolute edge; if he didn't, he'd have zero points. That's nothing new. What's new is that he actually got lucky this time, and Renault wasn't a total dumpster fire like usual. They actually had some decent pace for once👍

Well, damn. Didn't realize you guys moved the whole debate to the Paddock.😢 With all this back-and-forth, I guess it's no surprise.😬

Maniac 😢 seriously, didn't I tell you not to bet against Sebastian Vettel?🙂

And what happens if the guy with the air hose finishes his job, but then some kid trying to swap a tire jams the impact wrench, drops a nut, or just lets a wheel go rolling off into the distance? What’s the plan then? 😬

God, I swear, this sensor issue is driving me insane. You know there are sensors for basically everything living out there—and even for random junk like rubber, metal, aluminum, copper, or even flour (you know, that mysterious white powder).😬 ) 🤣 Whatever you say. 😉 Depending on how good the sensors are, they don't even need to be touching the material. They can work from about four inches away, so it’s totally fixable. You just have electronics that track everything in sequence, and once all the conditions are met, the indicator light kicks in.😉

Taught by the sheer quality of Ford electronics. 🤣 They probably just wanted to dodge that component.😂 Honestly, they probably would have been better off sticking with the old Lollipop.😁

If we're lucky, maybe we'll see Timo Glock or truo take the win at the next race, then Nico Rosberg follows, and finally big shot David Coulthard brings it home 😁 ,and then just toss in a victory for the guys after that 🙏🙏🙏

rapidtinker45 said:Whoever thought a damn digital screen was a good idea should be hit with a heavy wrench.😁

The issue is a human is pulling the trigger, and that guy is watching everything through a screen... the dude hits green the second he sees them pulling the hose, but if the hose gets stuck and needs a little yank... you can't do it because the car will launch and take you out with it.
You don't have these issues with a lollipop man, because if he does his job right, he doesn't raise the stick until the hose is actually clear.

If it weren't for those Italians over at FIAT, they would've fixed this ages ago.🤣 I could probably rig it up myself for a few bucks.😂 It's ridiculous that these geniuses used a basic kill switch—something that won't even let the light turn green until the hose is fully disconnected from the car.😉 Honestly, they wouldn't even need a person standing there.😉

I nailed both the starter and the backup pair ☕

See you guys in three days 👋

If I remember right, Maniac refused to take the bet once he saw Nick Heidfeld got penalized ☕

And let's wait at least one more day 😬

Who knows what tomorrow's results will look like 🤣

What gifts? Please. We're talking about a controversial win and four points lost. Besides, Lewis Hamilton is practically family at this point; he earned it. If they had played it fair in Monza, he would’ve been penalized again anyway, so I don't get why everyone's foaming at the mouth...

Listen, guys, Massa is absolutely destroying him in head-to-head matchups. I'll say it again: it would be a total sporting injustice if he doesn't become champion. On pure track performance, he's beaten both Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton....

Sure, picking favorites is fun. I wish Fernando Alonso won every single day too, but when things go sideways like they did today, it’s just unrealistic.🤷

And even if it were just the car, Kimi would still be fighting for the title alongside Heikki Kovalainen, but hey, life isn't a fairy tale, is it?

Tell me something: is there any Ferrari driver this year who hasn't picked up a penalty besides this mess during the race? And what's the difference between today's spin in front of Sutil and the last one? It's the exact same thing. Just another machine failure in front of Sutil, except for the tiny detail that Massa wasn't even in contention for points today anyway.☕

Now think about it: which top-tier driver from the last two seasons—other than Kimi or Massa—hasn't dealt with some kind of penalty?☕
I think it's pretty obvious. It's ridiculous how they always seem to snag a penalty, whether it's in qualifying or during the race. Lewis Hamilton, Robert Kubica, Nick Heidfeld, Heikki Kovalainen, Nico Rosberg...
Come on, please explain that to me.🤷 🤷

I'm not defending McLaren. I'd do the same for BMW, Williams, Red Bull, Red Bull Racing, Force India, Honda, or Toyota. I'd defend anyone—except Ferrari.

And I'm certain today won't have any impact on Ferrari. If McLaren or BMW had pulled a stunt like this, they'd be banned from at least one race. You simply can't cause a situation more dangerous than what happened in the pits.☕
Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
rustystag7 said:And why exactly should Massa be penalized? Because he happened to be the fastest guy out there? Just because he actually clocked the best pace on track? Give me a break. 🤷

Just a quick reminder: he blew a lead from first place with only two laps left in the race. And today? He lost his spot at the front because his crew pulled a total amateur move. Typical.

It all points to one thing: Massa has been absolutely dominant this season. Honestly, if he doesn't walk away with the championship, it’d be a total injustice.

He did his thing on the track. Whether anyone actually cared or not is another story.

Look, it doesn't matter if he’s the favorite on paper or if people actually like him. When it comes down to a head-to-head fight for the title, Massa wins. He'll crush it in whatever area he actually controls. 🙏

Between the gift-wrapped wins at the green table, the constant disqualifications, penalizing half the grid, and qualifying drama—not to mention a car that seems designed specifically to skirt every rule in the book from the engine up—it’s a joke. ☕
