Tights, stockings... in Fashion ·
I am absolutely obsessed with those ones cut just a little bit below the knee 😍 sure, everyone gives me these weird looks when I pair them with a skirt, but honestly, who cares? 😁😁
Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and ICU: Q&A in Health ·
Unfortunately, I’ve had about six surgeries so far, and the only thing that really sticks in my mind is that awkward, groggy delirium you hit right as you're waking up. It ranges from those moments where you're convinced you're head over heels in love with your surgeon, to the times you're ready to lose your cool and snap at a nurse because they're tugging on your hair. Honestly, I think those of you working up in recovery probably have a field day laughing at us.😁
I’ve been dealing with this incredibly frustrating issue with my sense of smell over the last month, where everything has become hyper-sensitive to the point of being unbearable. It’s reached a stage where I can’t even apply hand cream or moisturizer to my face without feeling physically nauseous from the scent. Even simple things like waiting at a red light have become a struggle because the smell of gasoline from passing cars makes me want to gag. I’ve even resorted to using fragrance-free detergent on my clothes, yet somehow the fabric itself still carries a scent that triggers that same wave of nausea.
Even cooked meat smells unnervingly metallic, like blood, and if someone walks past me wearing what feels like an aggressive cloud of perfume sprayed directly into my nostrils, 🙄
I am 100% certain that pregnancy isn't the cause here, so I’m honestly at a loss as to what else could be happening.

I couldn't find a specific thread for this kind of thing, so if one already exists, please feel free to move this. 😉
I'm too polite (old-school manners) in Psychology ·
Don’t get me wrong, but whether someone fares better or worse in these situations has nothing to do with "culture" or manners. It really just comes down to how much backbone you actually have. It isn't about those rude people shouting on a street corner in Chicago—they're just talking. The real issue is that you lack the courage to calmly and politely tell them to move out of your way. 🤷
Blood transfusion info/questions in Health ·
Take me, for example. If I were told I had Hepatitis B 🙄 I would have completely lost my mind. After a thousand different tests, they just come back and tell me it was some minor clerical error, "sorry, honey" 😍 I am officially done donating blood 😁 Sure, it might be the humane thing to do for everyone else, but it’s hardly fair to me to have to endure all that stress and uncertainty all over again 😁
Starting an LLC: Where to begin? in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Every single cent needs to be accounted for, if you ask me. I think you could potentially structure it so you land a contract—essentially setting it up where one specific entity is borrowing funds from another. That way, once the revenue starts rolling in, you can begin the repayments, ensuring everything stays perfectly legitimate on the balance sheets. 🤷
You might want to take a closer look at the regulations regarding authorized capital and initial contributions.
