Man, I still remember that musical, "Little Shop of Horrors," or whatever it was called... honestly, it was just pure, unadulterated nonsense. That crazy plant and that salesman with that ridiculous laugh. 🙂
Man, Eminem sucks... As the number one guy, he can't even sing, and as the number two guy, he can't act, which makes his movie look like a total joke... 😁 🙂 😁
Drew Morgan5 said:If we’re going to be pedantic about this... Cradle of Filth - gothic/Black Metal The term "epic" describes the lyrical content, not the musical genre itself. Everyone knows what an epic is—it's literature, something you learned back in middle school. It reflects the storytelling in the lyrics. In the metal scene, people started using it to describe Power Metal bands with grand themes, like knights in colorful armor or holy wars... it's about the words, not the riffs. Too many people, even in many magazines, get this wrong. In the case of COB, you could throw "symphonic" in there, since they occasionally use orchestration and operatic female vocals.
Children of Bodom is absolutely not Melodic Death Metal. Go listen to At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, or Dimension Zero if you actually want to hear what Melodic Death Metal sounds like. COB basically blended Power/Heavy Metal guitar work—just listen to the solos and the rhythm tracks on their first two albums—with a bit of Thrash influence on the last two (especially on that "Hate Crew..." record). The vocals have a Black Metal vibe, though they lean slightly toward Melodic Death styles, but it's not true death vocals. Most people label them as Black/Power metal, which isn't wrong. But Melodic Death? Not a chance.

It’s the same thing every single day. First, they play "Because the Night," then it's inevitably some generic country anthem 🙂, followed by Pink or whatever else is trending... it's just awful. Honestly, it makes me sick.
And to make matters worse, everyone gets totally into it... well, everyone except me. 🤮
