:-)) Next time we run into him, I might just use some alcohol to settle the score for everything he’s done to me.

It is truly remarkable how often you and I end up clashing in these threads. I suppose it's becoming somewhat predictable.
It isn't exactly public knowledge, but I have been out wandering around and causing a bit of trouble lately... heheheh. I suppose I was being a little bit of a rebel again.😎 😎
Actually, I am not even in the States yet; I don't plan on heading there until mid-December.

Heh, where have you been hiding, you old drunk?
Well, damn it, Madonna. Things will hopefully turn around next time.
And tell me, Elon Musk, did you actually hook up with her? Now I’m starting to wonder how old that photo really is. Could you be the reason she broke things off with Alena back when she visited from the States maybe three or four years ago?
The film is an absolute powerhouse... though I suppose I might just be under the influence of all that Hollywood garbage, which would explain why I found it so incredible.
It’s a mess, honestly. Even Social Security in Germany isn't what it used to be. I wonder if they actually receive a pension for that?
What on earth is wrong with you people? Yesterday you were all praising them like gods, and today you’re just spitting on them. Have a little faith, I guess.
If Spaniards could score that many goals, then we can certainly do even more.
😁 😁 😁
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
GOD, PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE
Come on now... we aren't even at halftime yet. It just looks like they switched roles in the final. The Spanish side is playing with a lot of intensity right now, but I guess the American surge will start coming in the second half. 😁
COME ON TEAM USA... Start playing some real defense out there... They’re making this way too easy for them.
FILM IS EVERYTHING!!!!! I honestly can't tell you how many times I've watched it. I still have the DVD, so whenever I've had a few drinks and don't feel like heading out, I just settle in and really lean into that melancholy vibe...
hehehehe..Bill and Scarlett are just perfection...
and Sophia—bravo... those genes are something else :-)

Though I suppose one shouldn't be too surprised...:-)))
Benjamin Ramos95 said:Yes, I’ve read about four pages of this thread, and it seems clear to me that everything in New York is essentially being run on pure luck and grit rather than any actual system.😁
HAH, you really think the UK is significantly better than the US?
Well, that is precisely my point. People talk about corruption back home, but look at the US. We see election interference, billion-dollar corporations collapsing overnight, and the ultra-wealthy slashing their tax burdens while exploiting people all over the globe just to pad their bottom lines. Honestly, if you look at it from that perspective, maybe America isn't actually any better than what we deal with here.:-)))
I suppose if you have more wealth, you naturally qualify for more credit. That’s just how things work in America. I guess banks aren't going to grant anyone a loan unless they are certain the money can actually be paid back. It's simply the way the system operates.
Benjamin Ramos95 said:I suppose there isn't anything incorrect about his statement. Having read his initial post, I find myself agreeing with him entirely.
Give me a break. As an immigrant myself, I find this whole perspective rather spoiled. If you move to a new country, you simply have to deal with it. You ought to accept the local way of life and integrate; otherwise, perhaps it is best to just head back home since you clearly aren't finding success here. Though, I guess that ultimately depends on a person's character or something along those lines.

Heh... the guy is an absolute idiot. Maybe he should just head back to dull, dreary England then.
William Lewis10 said:I suppose I could offer you another similar scenario: if you are from Washington, D.C., you might just end up working in Vienna instead!
And I imagine those folks in Vienna are simply waiting for one more person from America to arrive, right?

THAT'S JUST COMMON SENSE, Jane!!!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏
Only 10 left to go.
Damn, it's already the third—pardon, the fourth...:-(
