Basically, it’s your standard road trip comedy—though even then, the pacing feels all over the place.
Most of the "humor" just boils down to Jack's character being an absolute pest and Robert's character being constantly pissed off at him.
The whole plot follows this straight-laced guy who gets kicked off a plane because of some obnoxious, heavy-smoking nuisance—and then, of course, he's forced to trek halfway across the USA with this guy just to make it to his kid's birth.
It's your typical modern comedy, though I'll admit, it could have been way worse... I don't regret the time I spent watching it.
Well, I definitely regret it.😁 What an absolute disaster of a movie.
It’s an old sewing machine—and look, I’ll be the first to admit I don't know the first thing about these things. I have no clue what it's actually worth, or if it’s even worth anything at all, let alone who I should even reach out to... It definitely looks like it needs a full restoration, but I can't wrap my head around whether that's even a smart investment... Can anyone lend a hand or maybe provide some info..? Here are two photos, though I can post more if necessary..

But then, the second I actually try to do something useful—like clicking into a subforum or trying to drop a reply to a thread—it hits me with this "access denied" error, telling me I need to log in again. So I re-log, try again, and boom—same thing. It happens over and over, every single time! Or even worse, I'll successfully post something, start scrolling through the page to see if it actually went up, and suddenly realize the site thinks I'm a guest again. And get this—it's *only* happening here on this forum. Every other site I use works perfectly fine without these constant hiccups.
Pretty much the same story over here... there are certain threads where I can't even type a response because the site won't let me stay logged in long enough to hit send.😕 🤷 🤦
I went and typed in the wrong code three times—total rookie mistake, I know—and now the damn thing is completely frozen. It’s just staring back at me with some random seven-digit PIN... so, what am I actually supposed to do with this now? 🤷
I'll just drop my question right here instead of cluttering things up with a brand new thread...
I can't seem to log out. 🤣 😕
So, I hit the "sign out" button—which seems perfectly fine at first glance— but then it tells me: All cookies have been cleared! But here’s the kicker: if I go into Google, search for the forum, click the link, and land back on the site, I’m still logged in—no username or password required. Just... bam, right back in. 🤷
By the way, this is happening in Opera. Everything works perfectly fine in Internet Explorer. 🤷
Wait, hold on—I think I actually figured out what the issue is. Never mind this, just ignore me.

accompanied by my usual phrase, "well, I did warn you,"
...but honestly, I've got a much better excuse now... I've been diagnosed with gastritis, liver issues, gallbladder problems, blood sugar issues, high cholesterol... basically, I'm on a diet where I practically can't eat anything... and yet, when it comes to health, people just don't seem to stop and actually think for a second... 😉

Is there some kind of trick for Chrome? 😁

People claim nothing happens in Stalker (Tarkovsky) or The Tenant, yet you could write entire novels about them. Give me a break.
I don't even get what people mean when they say "nothing happens"—are we talking about movies with static cameras and way too much dialogue, or maybe too much action and not enough talking? What's the actual metric here?
I'm with you on this, but I still feel the need to bring up The Class🙂
Can the moderators please change the title of this thread? I was thinking maybe the part in parentheses could be "exam impressions"? I'm assuming I've put this request in the right place 🤷
Look, I am absolutely not entertaining the idea of some ridiculous diet... sure, I’ve put on maybe 10 or 15 pounds lately and I really need to get my act together—whether that means hitting the bike trail or going for a run, honestly, anything works once the weather finally starts warming up out here 🙂
Since we’re all talking about increased appetite and stuff like that—has anyone else actually dealt with this while taking Lexapro? My psychiatrist told me it might happen right when you start the medication, but honestly, I feel like this hunger surge is only hitting me now, like, around month eight or nine of being on it. It’s a little hard to pin down exactly, though I’m pretty certain I have a much higher drive for food than I used to... maybe it’s just because I’m not working right now and I’m stuck at home all day, so I end up eating just out of sheer boredom 🤷 😁
