Honestly, the movie didn't really land in Europe, but it was pretty decent here in the States.

If you spend 100 mil on a film, you gotta pull in at least 200 just to break even.

The thing is, it doesn't even hit China until May 12th, and it won't be out in Japan until July 15th.
Those two markets might save it from a total loss, but I wouldn't hold my breath for a sequel.

It’s kind of wild that the movie is basically wrapping up its run through Europe and North America already and we still don't have a dedicated thread for it.
I was super skeptical at first—and honestly, I haven't even sat down to watch it yet—but I gotta say, it’s pretty surprising how much better it’s doing with both audiences and critics than anyone actually expected.

Here’s the trailer. I’d love if someone (please use spoiler tags!) could give me the lowdown on whether this is actually worth seeing on the big screen or if it's just hype.

Honestly, it feels weird that they didn't get a movie made about him sooner, like back in 2007 at the latest.

The guy's kind of faded from the mainstream spotlight now.

Look, it’s also about the connections. One guy is married to a director and the other is tied to a producer. 😁
Plus, those ladies haven't really had much to do on screen lately.

The guys over at RedLetter Media pretty much nailed why both this flick and the new Resident Evil are total garbage. 😉

If someone dropped a video on YouTube and hit 10 million views in a single day, what kind of madness would we be looking at after a week?

Man, those Norwegians really pulled it off right at the finish line 🙂

Let's go, Norwegians! 👍

Really hoping things stay chill tonight without all the drama. 🙂

And they earned it in the end.
They’re just faster and better than us.

The Norwegians spent half the game playing shorthanded, yet somehow they made it look like they were the ones with the extra man.🤦

Man, I don't even know what all we're looking at here... 🤦
It's pretty much over...

I’m honestly a little spooked that we hit that +3 mark so early. We tend to tank the second we lose even a bit of momentum.

Aaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhh!!!!!

Only in handball do you see this kind of drama! 🙏
Kudos to 👍

It’s a total laugh, honestly, but even worse ones have pulled in way more cash at the box office. Such a bummer it flopped because it’s actually pretty solid fun.

That trailer looks sick

Look, I love the Simpsons, but this just isn't anything special. They've basically been satirizing American Society for over 25 years now, touching on pretty much everything under the sun. It’s totally expected that they called most of this stuff ahead of time.
Honestly, South Park handled the whole election theme way better this season.

Ha.

Well, that's a pretty wild pivot for one of the most liberal countries on the planet.🤷

This is probably just gonna be another remake where they manage to nail nothing except the title.

That would be some damn good casting though. 👍
