It's Sunday!

We’re meeting up at 10 AM by John Doe's restaurant... You can swing by in a car or just grab a bus from Smalltown, USA or Times Square. Honestly, whatever route is less of a headache for you.

Everyone’s invited. Bring some water, juice, or maybe a sandwich if you get hungry on the way, though there will be plenty of food waiting at the house itself. And seriously, do yourself a favor and pack a change of clothes so you can swap out later 😉

I was basically doing odd jobs and side hustles for everyone and anyone. Eventually, one local plumber offered me a steady gig, so I took it. Honestly, for the first few months, things were actually pretty great. But then my back started acting up, and it became painfully obvious that I just couldn't handle the physical grind anymore, no matter how much manual labor I was used to. So, I gave him my thanks and moved on from the opportunity. Still, it was a solid experience, and the pay was decent and always on time 😁

I suppose everyone has their price... more money definitely means a completely different lifestyle.

And also, how different types of stress affect us... my theory is that with enough experience, you learn to handle things better, so the stress I run into at work feels pretty temporary. 😁

I don't know how to explain it... you just Google stuff and it doesn't bother you as much anymore.

The reason your experience is like that is because you're just built that way—someone who can easily adapt to having to deal with people's nonsense and everything else that comes with it. Not everyone is born like that, and not everyone can become like that. 😉

If I were offered a chance right now to take a really great (mainly management) position for some seriously good money, but it meant being the boss of people I’ve worked alongside as peers for years—no chance. 🎉
Because I know I'd have to be an absolute jerk to pull it off... and honestly, I could probably do it, I just don't want to. 😉
