I recently switched from Yasmina to Cilest, and since then, I’ve been dealing with this heavy, yellowish discharge every single day; I’m going through about four pairs of underwear daily just to manage it, which is honestly becoming quite irritating. Has anyone else dealt with this? It reminds me of when I had a yeast infection, though I am certain this isn't that—it’s just constant, mindless leaking. I really don't feel like heading to my doctor because I'd end up waiting a month for an appointment, especially since I just saw him unannounced a little while ago.🙄
Carol Scott98 As specified by: I find myself facing a predicament remarkably similar to the one most of you seem to be grappling with. 🙂 To be honest, I spent years using Yasmin, and it was absolutely flawless. 😍 No, following that recent hiatus, I have decided to switch over to Logest, primarily because of the cost. Honestly, my previous medication was driving me to the brink; I was constantly on edge, and my libido had dropped well below zero. 😢 I eventually decided to return to my old reliable Yasmin, though I have found that my symptoms remain just as persistent as they were when I was taking Logest. 😢 The most difficult part of this entire ordeal has been the suddenness of it all; Yasmin was such an incredibly reliable presence in my life for years, only to be plunged, without any warning, into a coma. 🤷 I’ve decided to take another two-month break, and I find that my libido has relatively well-recovered in the interim. 😁My gynecologist put me on Triquilar, and since everyone seems to swear by it, I figured I’d give it a shot. So, I started taking it, and yet here I am, still dealing with the exact same libido issues. 🙂
I am genuinely struggling to understand why every medication I have tried this year seems to be completely ineffective for me. Has anyone else dealt with this, or does anyone have any actual advice to offer? 😕 😕
I have to admit, there is a certain apprehension weighing on me regarding tomorrow. I am scheduled to begin my regimen with Cilest, yet I cannot shake the nagging suspicion that if the transition proves unfavorable and I find myself longing to return to Yasmin, the latter might not perform with its former reliability. 😢

Of course, every woman reacts differently, so there is always a chance it hits you a bit differently... but I’d wager your increased libido is actually thanks to the new guy 🙂 nothing beats great sex 🙏😍
Actually, no—I've been on them for a year now. I posted about this on another thread; they absolutely wreck my head and make me feel terrible, which is why I'm switching over to Cilest. But the libido... wow. 😁 🤣
Ever since I started seeing Yasmin, my libido has spiked so much that my boyfriend actually calls me a nymphomaniac (check out the comment under 🙄's name). It’s a complete 180 from my previous relationship, where I was basically completely unresponsive 🤣. I'm honestly not sure if this shift is due to my new partner or just side effects from my medication, but we'll find out soon enough since I'm starting on Cilest next week 🙂. If my sex drive suddenly tanks, I might actually lose it 😢 because I've finally figured out how to truly enjoy sex 😢
Aaron Garcia36 said:The way I see it, the effect of the tablet lasts about two to four hours—sort of like a quick caffeine buzz—so based on what you've told me, timing it like that should work fine. Just as if you were taking your next dose at the exact right moment, everything should stay on track.
The instructions—which I have with me, though asking here felt more intuitive than digging through the paperwork—state that if vomiting occurs within three to four hours of ingestion, I should follow the protocol for a missed dose. However, since there was a six-hour gap in this instance, I am hopeful that there is no cause for concern. Thank you. 😉
So, I went a bit overboard with the drinks yesterday and ended up throwing up—which was only the second time in my life, though I’m not sure why I feel the need to justify myself, but that’s just what happens when my boyfriend spends the whole week giving me a hard time 🤣. Now I’m feeling uncertain about my birth control. I took the pill yesterday around 7:30 PM and vomited around 2:00 AM. I’m wondering if it actually had time to work effectively, or if I should just resume my regular schedule, or perhaps be a bit more cautious with protection—not that he ever actually finishes inside me, but I’m thinking about condoms now, assuming we even have sex 😠. What’s the move here?
Kicked out of the States again? 🤣 Been there, done that... they'll let you back in eventually. 😁 Congratulations on landing that moderator spot, wiredharbor22; it was only a matter of time. 😉
I ended up pushing it back an entire month just because it was the path of least resistance, though honestly, if you aren't particularly bothered by the timing—it was a close friend's wedding for me—then there is no reason to stress over it. I was an absolute nightmare, constantly tearful and incredibly irritable... truly awful. I found myself counting down the days until my period finally arrived.
I am currently taking Yasmin 5 months. My period is expected to arrive this coming Friday, but my sister is getting married on Saturday, and since the second day is always my absolute worst, I would love to push my cycle back by about three days. Is this actually feasible? I have read accounts of people shifting their periods by an entire week, and a three-day delay would be much more convenient for me, especially as it would also shift my monthly cycle timing.
On a separate note, a friend of mine who has done this—and had consulted her own gynecologist, as I can't reach mine right now while they are away on vacation—suggested that I simply take the entire pack without a break. How much more taxing is that on the body compared to just delaying it for a few days, and does it compromise contraceptive effectiveness at all? Thank you in advance.
P.S. I realize everyone reacts differently, but has anyone experienced any side effects?

I am looking for some assistance regarding a research paper I am currently drafting. My topic focuses on whether people are gravitating more toward traditional print newspapers or digital news outlets. Once you have selected your answer, I would appreciate it if you could briefly explain your reasoning and mention which specific publications you follow. Thank you for your help.
P.S. I would ask the moderators to please leave this thread active for at least 48 hours so that I can gather sufficient data for my assignment. 🙂 P.S.S. I originally started this thread over in the Women's Corner, but since there was no response there, I decided to move it here...
I don't quite see what's so distasteful about it; my boyfriend actually finds squeezing various little things quite enjoyable. It felt a bit off to me at first, I'll admit, but now I find it rather fun, and I suspect he might find it a unique challenge to try and squeeze 😂😂
