Rhinoplasty: Experiences and recovery tips?

If you're twisting my words, let's get this straight—I never trashed any doctors, and honestly, I haven't seen anyone attacking Dr. Glusac lately either. Just Chillax. ☕

Matthew Turner4 said:Lies? Is this all just straight-up lies?... I can't really get into this one without seeing what you're talking about... the link isn't giving me much to work with. If there's something specific in that video you want my take on, just say so. Otherwise, I'm just staring at a blank screen here...
Ashley Young34 said:I went with Dr. Glusac, and that’s that. Just because things worked out for me doesn't mean he’s the right fit for everyone else—it's not a one-size-fits-all situation. So, please, stop trying to shove these recommendations down our throats...☕
Megan Moore76 said:So, I guess everyone over at Dr. 90210 was just walking around traumatized or something... 😁
rustygardener172 said:All I care about is how the doctor actually does the job, not whatever gossip is floating around about him.
rustygardener172 said:Being nitpicky isn't exactly a trait worth bragging about... regardless of whether we're talking about your face. It's always those nitpicky people who finish their first surgery only to find one tiny detail that isn't quite what they expected...
so they just go to someone else... and keep nitpicking... and then start thinking about a third... then a fourth... a fifth... 😁
But nobody is going to tell me I haven't done enough research before deciding which doctor to go with! I've been burned once before, so now I'm being extra cautious.
darkhawk10 said:thanks stormyharbor2, I ended up picking Glušac over Tončić anyway—all I need is a straightforward 👍 Glušac just seems like the most reliable option to me, people seem to praise him more than anyone else and I actually like his website.
rustygardener172 said:You're just nitpicking over things that don't even matter...
Who knows... maybe he worked with that doctor...
He’s constantly flying around the world for these seminars... Maybe he thinks he was the one who pioneered this whole thing back home, or maybe he thinks he's some big shot over in the States... Honestly, everyone everywhere claims they invented the wheel...
In any case, you're just giving yourself an unnecessary headache...
darkhawk10 said:Does anyone know what the going rate is for a rhinoplasty with Branko Glušac? I’m looking at something simple—nothing overly complicated—but his website doesn't list any prices and I haven't had a chance to dig through everything here yet... Since I'm based in Miami, he's the most convenient option for me.
Ashley Young34 said:That’s really up to your doctor to decide—they’re the experts on which specific technique will actually work for you—but honestly, about 95% of these procedures are done using the closed technique anyway... 🙂
You really have to insist on an internal incision—we're talking a closed technique here. If you go the open route, you’re looking at a nose tip that might not settle for one to three years... and nobody wants that.
If you're looking at facial plastic surgery, Geoffrey W. Tobias M. d. is the guy to watch—he actually specializes in Rhinoplasty. He’s basically pioneered this whole "un-nose job" concept... you know, the kind where you can't even tell someone had work done. He pulled it off by developing this totally revolutionary technique called "nasal memory surgery." It's pretty wild...
Plastic surgeon Branko Glušac—the specialist you go to for Rhinoplasty—just came up with this whole "nose job" concept where it actually looks like you haven't even had work done. To pull that off, he developed this revolutionary new technique he's calling "nasal memory surgery"...
Ashley Young34 said:...most people just go with the closed technique ☕
"The 'open' technique is indicated for particularly severe tip deformities or noses that have undergone multiple previous surgeries or trauma."
Nancy Perez74 said:Men aren't really that nitpicky—they just don't get that stuff... unless they're being a total Fashion Cat, LOL.
Everyone seemed shocked that I even wanted to get rhinoplasty—my male colleagues were all over me about it, saying stuff like, "You're going to ruin your face, you have a perfectly fine nose"... honestly, it was ridiculous...
That nose is just grotesque...
Nancy Perez74 said:You don't need to fly to the States just to get that tiny YouTube nose—our surgeons here can pull that off easily, based on the photos I've seen locally.
It's over—you've got a gorgeous new little nose! It reminds me of giving birth; they always tell you: it's done! You've got a beautiful little baby boy!
Nancy Perez74 said:Good grief, stormyharbor2—where on earth did you find these before and after shots? They’re a total disaster... That surgeon really botched it...😢
Nancy Perez74 said:stormyharbor2, did you finally pull the trigger on that surgery or what...?😍
Ashley Young34 said:stormyharbor2 - plenty of people claim you can't get stuff without a prescription, but honestly, that rule doesn't really carry any weight around here... you can just walk right into a pharmacy and pick up what you need... 😁
I feel the exact same way—honestly, thinking about construction tools that can actually shatter bones is way more terrifying to me than some muscle being cut... I don't really get why everyone is panicking over this...🙂
Nancy Perez74 said:Why does it matter? You're under anesthesia anyway—it shouldn't matter what they're actually doing... as long as you don't feel a thing and the end result looks good.
I'm basically Quasimodo
